I think people need to actually dissect the numbers a bit more with Wallace. He clearly showed signs of slowing down in the second half and he was virtually not even playing in the last four games of the season. It is either he ran out of steam, or teams caught on to what he was doing on the field and made adjustments, or a matter of both.

I say if Brandon Marshall becomes available we go with him, cut Wallace and let him get an absurd pay day somewhere else, and then see if Torrey is on the market and what kind of money he might get. He's coming off of a couple of disappointing years with horrible QB play and a bad, bad, concussion. Right player, right price. I think he's faster that Wallace and has more in the tank to give. I think a homecoming for him would do him well.

I think Torrey still has his top end speed and will for a few more years. Wallace is clearly losing his and that's his only ticket in the game.

I'd even like a combo of Marshall and Boldin. I think we have enough speed types to help take a top off a defense if they develop and can actually catch a football in Perriman and Chris Moore.

Trestmans scheme gave Wallace more opportunities. He and perriman are the only receivers that can make a play after the catch, take a slant 30 yards. At least we know Wallace will catch it. I still don't understand why this is still a topic. Let's talk about that offensive line. Zuttah and Alex Lewis can use an upgrade.

Wallace was bought in to be a deep threat for The Ravens which he did quite well at last year but now with Steve Smith gone The Ravens need more reliable receiver.  If Wallace refused a pay cut or more likely a extension then it's quite possible The Ravens could let him go and decide to re-sign Torrey Smith if  he is indeed  cut by  The 49ers. Torrey Smith would be cheaper and still give The Ravens the speed they need but I like Mike Wallace and think he should stay.

He was asked to be a deep threat... And he gave that when called on. Steve Smith is no longer on contract, sign someone with his old funds lol but don't cut a guy to sign a worse version of him. Then Mike will kill it in New England and will make us look like fools.

Just throwing a tag out to everyone that played last year.  We're getting ready to get this thing up and running over the next few days so be on the lookout for the signup thread.  There's a good chance we might be needing some new members this year, so it may take a little longer to fill up this year.

I'm always running around these days, can someone tag me in the sign up thread. I'm down

Well Steve believes in Harbs leading the team in 2017, so our fans should respect that...

So you want our owner acting like SD and Rams owners who refused to upgrade their stadium and ended up going to their neighbor and sharing their backyard?

You want our PLS owners and fans who are paying tickets to the game sitting in old stadium without perks and conveniences? when other team continue to upgrade their stadium to accommodate fans' interests?

PS: don't take things for granted.....look around the league and see how lucky we are to have Steve as an own who cares about the Ravens nation and the fans....

Add to the fact that San Diego completely screwed themselves by firing Marty shottenheimer. They've been going down hill ever since.

A good coach will lose every now and then but eventually you'll get your chance to win the Superbowl.

So what will it take to make you "happy"?  What "ratin" is your standard?  What INT is "acceptable" to you?  A team that has two 14 point leads on the team that goes to win the SB and blows them....Clearly was the QBs fault.  I will wait for your standards of stats, but im sure you wont even have any.

Side-note:  I still think we missed big time by not signing Alex Mack.  The Falcons OL all started the entire year together if i remember correctly, has the best WR in the NFL (imo) and the best RB duo in the league (most people's opinion).  I would love to have any of that here, hell, i would settle for just Mack.   Stats are cool and all, but there is one that matters more and Joe already did that.

Sadly the ravens have proved they don't need stars. They game plan well enough to the point where good role players get it done. No one from that Super Bowl offense has been considered top 10... Maybe even top 20 of their position.

If this where Madden, all our offense needs is 75-83 overall players.

  7. The dude can ball. And doesn't make big mistakes, he's probably Pees favorite guy on defense, but he has missed a lot of time on the field. There's just no sugar coating that.

He's not as bad as Jamal Charles or Sean Lee with missing time but he still misses a lot of games. Why wouldn't you expect him to be overlooked throughout the league. Showing up in half of the job.

Just so we're clear, Ford never faced Alabama.

Also, Logan Thomas was 5/26 againat Bama, so not really on the receivers as much. Thomas was atrocious.

Your absolutely right. I'm thinking if John Ross. The Clemson comment confused me lol now it makes sense.

Bama had the best defense in college football. VT didn't have too many other weapons to rely on so it shouldn't come to much of a surprise. Ford playing with us in the slot would be great.

Though what you said is true, him getting stopped still gas to be counted. Because if he had a good game he'd be the real deal. Not saying he isn't good, it's just data

i personally think evan engram makes a better receiver and i like him the most after those 2, my board has john ross 3rd but thats only because a team would have to commit to him as a WR for me to place him higher and i dont like him as a TE.

also, i think isaiah ford is incredibly underrated. hes probably the twitchiest and niftiest route runner in the class.

Yea... Ford got locked up by Bama though.

He's certainly shifty. But I'm curious to see how he performs in the big leagues.
