I don't want the Texans WR coach. Jacoby looked like a bum with him, but Jacoby was a play maker with Hostler... no thanks
Exactly. I think a key point is to look at not only stats/good play, but also at the finer details, such as precise routes/ball awareness/other tactical things that only comes by way of good coaching. Some players get by on natural athleticism alone, while others work extremely hard to get to where they are at.
I completely agree SeaHawk, which is why I would prefer that our coaching staff spends some time to look for a better WR coach
Well aside from AJ and Hopkins, the Texans rarely, if ever, addressed the position high in the draft or with a big FA name. So it shouldn't be a surprise that AJ didn't have a true complement on the other side.
