Rats....
Miami is really getting on my nerves.
That's my guess. Maybe the reports of $8M are exaggerated or maybe we'll give him a two year deal with a lot guaranteed but little base and take the cap hit next year.
I am confused myself, but maybe he is cheaper than we think or at least the Ravens brass hopes so.
Or maybe more moves will be done before signing any free agents.

Ravens have displayed interest in defensive tackle Terrance "Pot Roast" Knighton, sources say: http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-ravens-have-displayed-interest-in-terrence-pot-roast-knighton-sources-say-20150312-story.html …
How do you guys feel about Stevie Johnson? I heard the 49ers are cutting him.
I have been MIA here because of this game. All of the people complaining about it assumed it would be like Halo and are coming from a military First Person Shooter background in gaming, they don't comprehend loot based RPGs/MMOs that require you to grind which is what this game is, it just happened to come in a FPS-style shell, kind of like the only other FPS series I actually enjoy: Borderlands. They think everything should be handed to them because "I came in 1st in my Crucible match and I didn't get anything!" Sorry but the Crucible is just a side area created by Bungie in an attempt to sate these neanderthals.
I've been grinding and farming loot in games since I was 12 trying to get parts off of enemies for ultimate weapons in Final Fantasy VIII so the grind doesn't bother me. The story could have been a little more in depth but that is literally my only complaint about the game because I do love story-driven games, especially sci-fi ones. I give it a very solid 9/10, my main character is a level 27 Hunter and I and my friends still find plenty to keep us entertained with this game.
I don't come from a military first person shooter background. I just like a solid game with immersive story and freedom. This feels like a game with a good shell and a bad core. When you have been a gamer for so long, played it all and seen it all, it just becomes tiring to see games hyped up only to realize the developers were lazy. With all the stuff you like about this game, you have to admit there is a part of you that knows they could've done so much more. That's fine if you love this game, but I'm tired of settling for what the gaming industry puts out. I wanna be blown away. Yeah, the gameplay and graphics are fantastic and it's good for people that like to grind, but it doesn't feel next gen to me. I don't like going to the same areas over and over and facing dumb AI. It just feels mindless. Good game that could've been better.
Also, why are there still no practice squads?
Xbox LIVE is Fusebox LIVE and Steam is almafuse.
The game is getting a lot of mediocre reviews. The story is non existent and the gameplay is repetitive.
However, I'm loving every minute of it. People allowed themselves to get overhyped yet again. I suggest reading reviews and deciding for yourself but the bottom line is the game is a lot of fun to play.
You are right. It is fun to play and I even enjoyed the beta. I allowed myself to get overhyped. I just feel like it could be so much more coming from Bungie and Activision.
Okay, so after playing for a while, I'm no longer angered at the slight changes. I love how defense is controlled now with the new camera angle. Actually I'm not sure if that's new, but I've never used it before. I HATED the way you had to get a quick burst off the line, but now I've mastered and prefer it. While this is, in my opinion the most fun Madden game I've played, I still have my pet peeves. What happened to the scouting system? On Madden 25, I could easily get a lot of points to spend on scouting players. Now it feels like I have barely anything, Even with the double XP on, it takes 2 weeks before I can even scout a player's class. I will admit drafting players is easier now when you can see what players are scheme fits.
I'm not sure I like the new practice system. Before, I liked that I could just run team drills and every player would get 2000 XP for completing it EVERY time. And also, I can't believe Madden still freezes. I was having a great game and I scored a touchdown only for it to freeze on the PAT. I do like that it saves your game on the Xbox One, but it doesn't necessarily save it the way you left it. When I brought the game back, my touchdown wasn't there AND it was snowing. LOL. I hate playing in the snow. Besides these little gripes, the game feels more... cinematic and I feel more in control. This is a great improvement in my opinion.
The game does look beautiful and is very polished. The controls are smooth and the shooting feels natural. I like the RPG elements too. The game however is repetitive and offers the most basic storyline I've ever seen with not many memorable characters. I've found myself backtracking a lot on NEW missions. I've been in the same buildings over and over. It's like the developers were like "Eh, it looks beautiful. The players only care about graphics. They won't mind that the game literally offers nothing else." Even COD games offers more variety. Even the most basic free to play MMO is done better. When you're in a mission and you see another dude playing too, there is no game chat. You can't talk to him. He's just there. It's still fun to play, but not for too long. I'm just expecting a true next gen experience when a game like this is hyped so much. People say it gets more fun after level 20, so I'll keep playing it. I do also like the multiplayer. It just feels like an incomplete game that had a ton of promise.
Apparently a Woman's advocacy group is going to fly banners over 4 stadiums tomorrow and Monday Night reading "Goodell Must Go" after the Rice situation. This group was calling for Goodell to resign after the elevator video emerged. These planes will fly over NY/NJ(Cardinals-Giants), Cleveland(Saints-Browns), San Fran(Bears-49ers) and Indianapolis(Eagles-Colts).
So does anyone know if this happened?
He's one of those do-it-all type of players. He doesn't do anything particularly well, but he does everything. Another north-south guy for Kubiak to work with. Don't expect much though.
Yeah, I don't really expect him to make the team, but you never really know who will light it up in preseason.
Also, Aaron Wilson gave more information in an article:
Toussaint played at Michigan, rushing for 648 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior last season. He caught 18 passes for 203 yards for the Wolverines last season.
In 2012, he suffered a season-ending leg injury and was limited to 530 yards and five touchdowns.
Toussaint rushed for 1,041 yards and nine touchdowns in 2011 when he earned All-Big Ten Conference honorable-mention honors.
The 5-foot-9, 204-pounder ran the 40-yard dash in 4.49 seconds at his campus Pro Day workout and bench pressed 225 pounds 24 times.
Ravens are signing undrafted rookie running back Fitz Touissant, according to a source
Don't really know anything about him, but I'm glad there is more RB competition.

Ravens waived-injured outside linebacker Ryan Jones, creating a roster spot for running back Fitz Toussaint
And then there's the good. I'll give him props when they're due. If he keeps making plays like that, we'll be just fine. I was referring to a much earlier play.
This one:
Ahh. Gotcha. Looks like a lack of experience type of mistake. Hopefully he develops more this year.
Even above all those corners we drafted...oh, wait.
Seriously though, good for him. I hope he is good enough to at least push Jackson and Brown to raise their game to another level. I still have flashbacks of the play after Jimmy got banged up against Pitt and they brought in Brown for a play and lines him up over Antonio Brown. Ben didn't even have to place the ball, he just looked once and lobbed it to that sideline for an easy fifteen. Chykie wasn't even in the picture.
The way I remember it, Chykie saved the day.
So here is why we don't have Terrance Bullitt...
Terrance Bullitt @Tbullitt1 5m
Although I passed my physical with the baltimore ravens I was told after further evaluations on my shoulder I was too high of a risk. (cont)
Terrance Bullitt @Tbullitt1 3m

Terrance Bullitt @Tbullitt1 2m

Terrance Bullitt @Tbullitt1 10s
Also thank you baltimore for the chance of a lifetime, no hard feelings toward you guys.
Really liked the guy from that video I saw.
Avery Patterson is listed as FS on every website I can find. Maybe he's switching to CB?
So from the original list that we've compiled...
Guys we signed but didn't know about:
DT Levi Brown, CB Tramain Jacobs, CB Deji Olatoye, CB Avery Patterson
Guys we didn't sign that we thought we did (who may be tryouts):
LB Terrance Bullitt, TE Jake Sinkovec, C Ryan Jones (who failed his physical)
Guys that are definitely tryout basis only for now:
DB Dustin Wharton, WR Jerry Rice Jr., DE DJ Roberts, DE Jeremiah Taylor
Cool. Glad we have 3 more CBs.
Apparently we have another cornerback too. Tramain Jacobs.
Aaron Wilson @RavensInsider 9m
Ravens' UDFAs: DT Levi Brown, WR Jeremy Butler, WR Jace Davis, OT Parker Graham, DT Derrick Hopkins, OT James Hurst, CB Tramain Jacobs
Looks like Brent Urban will wear number 96.
Brent Urban @urbanlegend96 15h
Had to change the twitter name appropriately. #RavensNation
And a CB is off the board...
Colts agree to terms with former Florida defensive back Louchiez Purifoy
That sucks. ![]()
Aaron Wilson @RavensInsider 1m
Ravens are signing former Albany State (Ga.) safety Dexter Moody, 6-1, 217, 4.4 speed, 19 reps 225 pounds, 34-inch vertical
I hope more CBs and RBs are signed.
So, what pick did everybody hate? What a people whining about? I just don't know why there are 21 pages of venting when we killed this draft.
I LOVED this draft but then again I am a defensive minded fan. I would of liked a Tackle but I will take a future Center/Guard John Urschel.
I will say I am not crazy about Crockett Gilmore and I wish we had gotten Terrance West there (dang Browns moving up!) but I also think we should of taking Brandon Thomas there. But like they say, Ozzie knows best, hope to see Gilmore prove me wrong.
To be honest I can't find a pick that I hated. There were a couple times where I was hoping for one guy and another guy was drafted instead. I'd get a bit angry at first, but then I'd calm down and realize we got a great pick. Overall, this was a great draft. I have no complaints.

I didn't think about that. I wanted Stills and Cameron though.
