  1. ^We should turn this into a separate thread so the UDFA thread isn't derailed further.
  2. Here's some general info on each of our undrafted guys. http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-sammy-seamster-james-hurst-headline-ravens-undrafted-free-agent-class-20140511,0,4226635.story?page=1
  3. I see now that he weighs 232 pounds. Didn't realize he was that big.
  4. I really like what I've seen from him so far. I noticed they were calling him a linebacker and safety. Do you think he'd be able to play SS at such a high weight of 230 pounds?
  5. He is projected as a 5th-6th round prospect on cbpsports. Great pick up!
  6. Well I was wrong, but you can't judge me for thinking the guy would grab this opportunity by the horns and run with it. I am a firm believer that people can change, but I think Rolando is too far gone. He just doesn't have the football passion.
  7. I still think the main problem was the offensive line whether we had Boldin or not.
  8. If catching the ball and making plays isn't the skill set to be a starting wide receiver, then I don't know what is. He even made improvements on a lot of aspects of his game. Short/mid catches, catching style, route running.
  9. Well I'm glad Cary Williams is no longer on the team. I could see him provoking Steve in practice.
  10. I am in so much agreement with this.
  11. People seem to forget that he is actually a pretty good wide receiver. I've said this 100 times and I'll say it again. Whenever he has the ball in his hands, there is a legitimate chance for him to go all the way for a touchdown.
  12. That's exactly how I feel. Corey was awesome. He was a nice humble guy in person too. I hate to see good character players leave. I'll never forget the feeling I had the second time Graham intercepted Peyton during the playoffs.
  13. I just think there are other options if Daryl Smith doesn't return. McClain isn't a main option, but anything can happen. The position should have more depth and I expect Ozzie to get more depth.
  14. I love redemption stories, though! But, seriously, I'm aware of that. I'd just like to see him turn his career around after turning his life around of course.
  15. You have to put the best player on the field though.
  16. I know we've had 3 Ravens arrests, and they'd probably be weary about bringing him back, but it does seem like he wants to change. With the tiny contract he commands, they wouldn't have anything to lose.
  17. I here ya, but if he has a great pre-season, it would be hard to ignore.
  18. I know right? He is an absolutely playmaker. Plus he improved a lot before getting injured.
  19. If Daryl isn't re-signed and we got Mack instead, I don't think MLB would necessarily be a weak point with Rolando McClain coming back and Arthur Brown starting.
  20. I knew it in my heart!!!!
  21. He's retiring.
  22. Does anyone think there is a legitimate chance of getting both of them? The cap looks like it's going up even more and some of the bigger contracts like Ngata will not be there in later years. I think it's worth it, because being a winning team starts with the O-Line. Tough choices would have to be made, but if we only signed Pitta, Monroe and Mack and let the other bigger names walk, I can't say I'd be mad.
  23. I'm starting to lean towards Alex Mack, but I still don't want Eugene to leave.
  24. This is from NFL.com The transition tag allows any team to negotiate with the top center on the market (once free agency opens Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET), but it also allows the Cleveland Browns an opportunity to match the offer. It has been widely speculated that the Browns will go out of their way to hang onto their Pro Bowl center, who hasn't missed a snap in five years. Mack's agent, Marvin Demoff, told TheMMQB.com's Peter King that he believes he could craft a contract that would be tough for the Browns to match. "I'm confident we can come up with a structure that would have a reasonable likelihood to not be matched by the Browns -- and would be in full compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement," Demoff said Monday night. ------ So I think it doesn't necessarily have to be the price of the tag. We could make any offer and the Browns would have to match it,
  25. We already have fast playmaking receivers. Boldin already proved that you don't need speed to make plays. A lot of our receivers don't jump up and overpower people for the ball. That being said, I'd love for the Ravens to draft Mike Evans.
