  1. I like Mallet, but I also like "Renner"...the qb who played lights out for us during the pre-season. I heard he was on the practice squad. don't know if he still is or not.

Bryn Renner was signed by Tennessee last week unfortunately........ But with that said, we have 2 young QBs on our roster that are both proving to be good QBs. I was really impressed with J Clausen, and now after watching Ryan Mallett, I am even more optimistic regarding our back-up QB situation going forward..... Here's to a much better 2016 season !! :)

  2. This game is NOT a typical high degree of rivalry in my opinion...... When 7/8ths of our offense, including our franchise QB is on IR, and our top OLB that gets after Big Ben constantly is also on IR, this game is just early 2016 practice in my mind and heart....... Maybe next year when all our guys are healthy and back on the field, it will feel like a great rivalry again.....

  3. i mean we only scored 6 points, jimmy didn't do great.  here is how they grade at pff https://www.profootballfocus.com/about/how-we-grade/.  people that don't understand pff don't like it, but its actually a pretty accurate way to rate a players season.

How did we score only 6 pts against KC? Clausen did throw 2 TD passes...... Maybe his second half was not so great, but he was pretty accurate with his passes and had almost 300 passing yds, only 1 intercept which is debatable whether or not he was to blame.....

  4. If the Ravens wore "gold" pants the look might have been good. The color they wore was a mustard like color that did not look good. You would think Nike and the NFL could design better colors

I agree with you..... While I actually learned to like the "mustard-yellow" pants on Sunday, a more muted actual gold color would be so much better. And I also agree that Nike uniforms are not as good as the Reebok uni's were for almost every team, but just my opinion ......

  5. My favorite has always been the "All Black" uniforms Which in fact we will be wearing against the Steelers. They just look bad Kardashian. Wish they could be our primary uni's.

I completely agree with the all-black uniforms, but please, never, ever refer to anything as awesome as our all-black uni's to remotely anything to do with a Kardasian, lol, I'd like to think more along the lines of John Wayne or Clint Eastwood bad :)

  6. For anyone calling for Trestman's head: try baking a cake without water, eggs, sugar, butter, chocolate and flour - and then see what you can do without the necessary ingredients...

... and how you react when someone says you're a lousy cook.

When I finally stopped laughing at this post, I realized it was one of the most brilliant analogies I have ever read !!! I completely agree with you 200%, I just wish others would stop blaming Marc Trestman for any failures of this team this year..... If anything, this offense made up of mostly 2nd, 3rd, and 4th stringers has become a weekly very entertaining show of talent, that I am personally enjoying just to watch and see what all the young players will do :)

  7. Great article and insight into Joe's feelings on a lot of things that matter to him, and us fans. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he is a true leader of this team, and the team does its best to work as one unit. His family and upbringing has surely proved to mold him into the great person and player that he is. To read that he can still see himself as our QB for 10 more years is proof of his love and dedication to the Raven's organization. I DO hope he can play till he is 40 and beyond here as our QB, and give the team and us fans a couple more Super Bowl wins along the way :)

  8. With Joe, the offense averaged well over 20 ppg, even without SSS. Without Joe, they are averaging 13, and have failed to score more than 20 in a single game. Joe had 3 game winning drives, and would have had several more if the defense had held up. Our offense just had chances to win the game against Cle and Mia, 2 of the worst defenses in the league, and failed both times. With Joe, we never lost by more than 8, and that includes games against 3 SB contenders, with 2 of them on the road. Last Sunday, we lost by 29, at home.

Not to mention that in most games, Joe and our revolving-door offense had done fairly well, and most of the time have scored enough points to win with a good defense..... That has been the main downfall of this team this year, a not-so-good defense, not the pieced-together offense.

  9. I still believe we are a better offense than defense right now...... While we may need a few changes on offense, we need a major change with defense. The mostly young, inexperiened offense that is playing now with all our very capable veterans out, shows signs of working well together, and being really good going forward, while our mish-mash of mostly veteran defensive players seems to take a step back every week...... But as always, just my opinion.....

  10. He earned another shot as our QB for sure; for a young player to go out after only a little over two weeks of being here, trying to learn a mostly new offensive scheme, gaining the trust and respect of the other offensive players while taking control of the game, yeah, he did very well overall...... Was he perfect? No, and quite frankly, that would be close to impossible against a top tier team like Seattle. The fact that he targeted and hit many of our receivers, gained as many yards as he did, getting more comfortable and confident as continued to play yesterday, was a huge boost. He only had 1 pick yesterday, and I was a fan that thought not only would yesterday be a nightmare on the offensive side, but thought he would get picked off at least 5 times, and never move the ball into Seahawks territory, I was completely wrong. The way he moved the ball down the field before the half was over, with only 45 seconds left reminded me of a veteran Joe. They need to let him play out the season to evaluate him properly in my opinion, and he will have some rough teams for the rest of the short season. Except for needing to improve in the red-zone, which honestly is not only his problem as a QB this season, he gets an A- from me. Once again also, the defense gets an F from me......

  11. Should but some don't. That is where a good coach like Harbaugh comes into play. Think about how hard it is to keep a young 22-23 year old with a few million dollars in his pocket motivated. Harbaugh has these guys still believing in themselves and going out there with no quit whatsoever. My hat is off to the coach for the job he has done.

Great post, I completely agree, however I accidently hit the down arrow instead of the up arrow, so consider this post having more ups ..... I hate the up and down arrows right next to each other, I have hit the wrong arrow so many times..... Ugh.....
