  1. Now that's what I'm talking about from Joe and the rest of the offense, could have easily been a 400 yard-plus game for Joe, and the defense was stellar as usual...... Even Ryan Mallet got to play and played very well...... No negatives today, please, just enjoy this game and hope it continues ????

  2. My biggest question and continuing problem since Marc Trestman was let go, is there isn't a whole lot of change on offense, like why did we only run the ball 15-16 times on Sunday? And why aren't we, like Sarah mentioned, using Perriman a lot more? How are we going to see his progression if he is not getting the ball? The offensive game just doesn't ever make sense with the talent we have, and I DO think we have talent offensively.....

  3. Just food for thought...... Have you ever considered what this team would be like WITHOUT Joe's cool, calm, keep-it-together demeanor ?? He NEVER throws his teammates under a bus, he always takes responsibility for the game and his play, and from all I read here in what all the players in all these articles say about Joe is nothing but respect and that he IS a team leader in every aspect. I've seen plenty of emotional, outspoken, QBs over many years in this league, and it isn't what always works for many teams. Not one fan knows what really goes on regularly in the locker room, on the practice field, or on game day, people just make assumptions on what they see in t.v. shots during a game, NO fan knows what goes on behind the scenes. Personally, I would much rather have a Joe Cool, than a Joe blow emotional hot-head. ??

  4. I just want to sit back, and enjoy this weekend; 2 wins over division opponents in 5 days, and our offense came to life for last night's game..... I know the Browns are not very good as a team this year, but we have seemed to have problems with them the last few years, but not last night. It was a solid win all the way around, and I am hoping this is the start of our offense coming together. I find myself mostly watching our games just to see the awesome defense we are putting on the field each game, especially after having a not so great year last season. Another Sunday to relax without stress, lol, and then onto Dallas ????

“There’s not disappointment right now. They are tough football games to win,” Flacco said. “But yeah, there is a little frustration in the fact that we’re not playing as well as we want to.”

Harbaugh "I really do believe we have the pieces in all three phases to be very good, but we have to find a way to make it happen and keep trusting in one another, and that’s it.”

Idk who's more delusional Flacco or Harbaugh. I'm so sick of the two of them and their little love affair with each other. This offense sucks and it's not getting any better despite what strides they think they have made.

I think its important to remember through the tough times that we are fans of the Ravens. I hear a lot of people that sound like they would rather support another team. I remember hearing exactly the same thing in 2012 when we lost a couple games in a row. Perhaps we should appreciate what has happened and where we are as we encourage our team to get better. I think hating people, being sick of them and that we suck, sounds like someone who would be better suited supporting a team that is perfect all the time. We have 2 super bowls in less than 2 decades and a QB coming of a serious knee injury. Ben had a minor injury to his knee and how well did he play yesterday? He wasn't as good as Joe, he threw 4 balls that should have been interceptions, our defense just can't catch, and until we went into prevent zone with a 21 - 0 lead Ben could do nothing. I was there when the 2000 Ravens defense got us a super bowl after no TD's after 5 games and I was there in 2012 when the defense got us into the playoffs where Flacco shined. Looked at Flacco's stats. This is who he is, who he has always been except for when he is in the playoffs. We have always leaned on our defense. If our defense gets there and Flacco comes alive in the playoffs, I can see you bandwagon fans just piling on.

I totally agree with you fusuymada..... I am probably only one of very few right now, but I am still not going to throw Joe under a bus. Up until this season, he has given all he has to this team for 8 years, several playoff wins, a Super Bowl win, and has virtually kept us in most every game along the way these last 8 years. Even last year, he did everything you could ask of a QB, scored enough points in most games to win, but it was the defense that let us down in those games. And lets not mention the 2 tons of season-ending injuries to half the team last year. So this is the first year Joe is not doing well, and I am sure HIS season-ending injury has nothing to do with it (just a little sarcasm)..... I don't understand how one year out of nine, so many fans are wanting Joe gone, or wished he had torn his knee again yesterday, or any other number of derogatory sentiments toward him. He just doesn't deserve the nasty vitriol, and I don't think any other player or coach of ours deserves it either.....

  6. Joe needs to get rid of the ball quicker, Standing there getting hit is why his shoulders are sore in the first place. Its time to scower for a offensive lineman.

Joe most of the time has an average of 2 seconds to get rid of the ball, most QBs with a really good O-line has 4-5 seconds..... Joe doesn't have TIME to get rid of the ball, and if he hurries his throws, they will most likely be picked off.... He has done a great job of protecting the ball by any means possible, with how rushed and taking the hits that he has.

You say you get upset (@Respect the raven), is there a reason? The fact that you don't voice it on the forum doesn't make you more of a fan.
This isn't a Purple kool-aid only forum, its a fan forum and everyone has an opinion and is allowed to voice it. If they're on here making statements, they're most likely a fan, otherwise, they probably wouldn't bother. I'm a fan and have been since the Colts played here and have thousands of dollars of memorabilia on my Purple and gold wall with a 15' ravens logo I painted myself. I've worked concessions at both stadiums, go to many of the fund raisers and I've also mowed a 50' "Go Ravens" in my back yard from training camp till first frost for the last 10 years. I also own about a dozen jerseys. If people are upset, that's their right to mention how they see it. More times than not, the masses predict future moves on this team anyway so "Fans" of all types have valid points too, even if they don't agree with you. Stick to statements about the team. "Constructive criticism is fine....but the downright fan bashing doesn't sit well with me!!"
Saying so doesn't make you "More of a fan" than the rest of us.

Wow ....did I strike a cord or something??!! I am not fan bashing!!  Just like you said...everyone has their own opinions. Mine is, "it doesn't sit well with me" when a "fan" bashes someone on the team. It's my right to say so, like it's your right to say what you say. Thanks for letting me know what a true fan is.....

Respect, I agree with you..... While everyone is entitled to their opinion and constructive criticism, I kind of get really tired of the mean-spirited, venom-filled posts about anyone and everyone in the entire organization, that is NOT constructive criticism in any way, shape or form. This world seems full of enough hate, and I just need to go de-stress after reading the forums sometimes.....

Will be very curious to see if Marty can work with our weak O-line to get more out of them when starters are down. To me, that is the critical issue right now. Doesn't matter if you have good receivers when the QB is being chased/hit/sacked/hurried.

Can't they move Joe around to make up for poor O line play?
Roll outs, play action, screens or even designed run plays for Joe?
Joe's got some wheels on him and maybe in having some movement to his play, it would help him see more of the field.
It seems when he is in the pocket, he gets fixated on routs opening up, only to be blindly sacked. At least if he's on the move he may be able to see where the defender is coming from.

I agree with what you are saying, but I am wondering how much his knee brace may be holding him back, he is definitely and noticeably less mobile right now in my opinion.....

  9. Has Hardbaugh been asked or answered any questions about that fake field goal. Specifically the fact that he had Justin line up as if he was going to kick it with his left foot which really was a dead give away. There are not many left footed kickers in this league and I can guarantee that when a team is facing a left footed kicker everyone on the field goal unit knows it. Its not like it is a huge difference but there are minor changes players on the FG cover unit make when facing a left footed kicker. So it would be difficult to come to the conclusion that the way Tucker lined up would go unnoticed. Has Harbaugh explained why he thought this was a good idea? I mean I think the Trestman move was long overdue, but two questionable decisions by John over these last two weeks have really hurt this team. I am not saying that he should belfried but, he needs to be accountable. I know he said he didn't regret the play call, but I am interested in his decision making process in the design of that play. Thats all. Has he been asked about that or answered that question?

Well, if it had worked, everyone would be praising the play, it just didn't work out..... I personally have no problem with trying a few potential "trick plays", sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, but I would also prefer we have more points on the board when trying these types of plays ??

  10. I have an idea, how about Steve just fires everyone on the Ravens staff, replace most of the players, and see where we go from there? I have never seen such absolute negativity and complete vitriol directed to our Ravens and the organization..... I understand constructive criticism, but most things I read here on a daily basis are nothing short of plain nasty directed at our entire team. I think fans are spoiled, they expect a first place team every freaking season, going to the playoffs, and God forbid we don't get to the Super Bowl. Sorry, life doesn't work that way. Lets also overlook the fact we have gone to the playoffs the majority of the time with our "no-nothing" HC, "useless" QB, and worthless rest of the team and coaching staff. Oh, and even won a SB that we just lucked out with. Just makes no sense to me to be so entirely negative and mean all the time toward our organization, when in reality, we have a pretty darn good one.

I guess they fired Trestman because they can't fire Perriman and Moseley. If either of those guys makes the plays pros are supposed to make, we win that game easily. You can add Hester to that pile also, who seems to have no clue how to field punts any more. Our "special" teams were a joke yesterday. If they want to fire a coach, they should fire the special teams coach. We lost 16-10 and we gave up a punt-return touchdown. The defense only gave up one touchdown all game. That's a great effort. We constantly gave up yards on punts. How do we not cut Hester? Oh that's right... we have no one else.

Why exactly does Mosley need to be fired, figuratively speaking?? Because he made a mistake completing a defensive TD after his intercept? First off, the offense needs to making the TDs, and second, Mosley is one of our best players on defense, period. The entire team had problems yesterday, some more than others, but Mosley's error was not the main problem or problems at all. Otherwise I agree with you on most of what you are saying.

Pees you're on notice, your weak sauce blitzes don't work.....

What are you talking about? Pees on notice. If it was not for his defense playing very well, the Ravens would easily be 0-5 with no sign of slowing the suffering down. Maybe his pass rush is not among the best in the league, but the best pass rushes have more to do with exceptional players making unbelievable plays over just a DC making a good play call.

I will also very clearly point out that had the offense been able to stay on the field and produce even the NFL average points per game, this defense would be much better simply from not being gassed as the game goes into the fourth quarter. Cannot drop the entire load on the defense like that and expect miracles to happen when the offense decides to disappear for 3 quarters plus.

Ravenous, I completely agree with you ?

Nothing will change that much. The offensive line and special teams are bad.

Special teams is bad? They had one bad game, but special teams has been perhaps the strongest phase of our game this year.

They have had more than one bad game..... They have allowed an incredible amount of yardage so far this year, including a complete return yesterday for a TD, and many long returns that resulted in a TD or FG..... They need some serious work to get it together.......
