  1. Joe has a more "tongue-in-cheek" humor, which can be hysterical on so many levels...... He seems like a more serious type guy, but he also surely doesn't seem to have much of a problem finding humor in many things...... I enjoy watching stuff like this to see his real personality
  2. Sorry January J, just saw your profile, so I mean him/he ......
  3. January J is just stating his/her opinion, which ALL of us do, what's the big deal with attacking what was posted ?? We all also know players have better things to do than to check out these forums, but there is not a thing wrong with what he/she said.
  4. So glad Steve set the record straight...... After what I read in the NFL website, I was a bit p.o.'d how they thought the Ravens should trade Steve back to Carolina, since that team was doing so well and the Ravens were not. Thank you Steve for wanting to stay here to finish here, and whatever that may bring......
  5. While I would normally completely agree with this statement any other season, I was also thinking that even if the offense put up 40-50 pts per game, would that still be enough to win? The defense is so un-trustworthy this season, so what you are basically saying is the offense must carry the team....... They are currently scoring enough points to win these games, but after all is said and done, the defense gives up more points. But yes, I will still agree that the offense should go out and finish better in the red-zone, and somehow start pounding in more TD's than they have been.
  6. This was really funny, and I don't even like Star Wars all that much!! Smith Sr, running down the field with the lighted saber things was great, and my favorite was J Forsett taking out the cameraman !!
  7. Rare AND refreshing, and yes, VERY much deserved......... thanks for staying a Raven, Marshall
  8. I got Crockett's jersey for my birthday 2 weeks ago, so I KNOW he will be awesome!! This will compliment my continuing collection of great players, #52, #20, #92, #55, #86 (Heap), #5, and #82 (Smith).......
  9. Like I have said before, the entire team needs to elevate their play, not just one guy..... But I like that Joe stood up and took command of the reins, per se', now just hope the rest of the players will follow suit.....
  10. Yeah, because anything ESPN related is SUCH a reliable source of Raven's news...... No thanks.....
  11. My feeling is, anytime one of our players does NOT suffer a season-ending injury, that is a good thing...... Seeing them go down quickly seemingly every single week is very disheartening......
  12. Please stay safe, Dennis, your health and well being is more important.
  13. I am thinking there is enough EVERYWHERE on this existing team to improve, it is not just one player..... At this point in time with having a 1-5 record, perhaps there is a higher element of stress, and needing to be better that is backfiring for most of the players. They kind of need to just go out and play like they know they always have, remove the pressure, and just have "fun", if you want to term it that way, no more pressure-cooker games...... And that picture of Justin Forsett with his babies, is an award winner for sure!! What a beautiful pic!!
  14. Not sure where my earlier post on here went, but I will try to re-post it..... Marshall Yanda is not only one of the best players in the NFL, he is definitely one of the BEST players to ever grace a Raven's uniform. I could say so many great things about his play on the field, and off the field (he is ALWAYS at Purple Evening for us women fans), but the greatest thing I can say is, he absolutely reminds me of our old Baltimore Colts players, that lived and breathed for the game, that means a lot these days.......
  15. When you have continual injuries and guys NOT performing after a few games, you have to shuffle the roster. I think most players are given a fair amount of time to either prove themselves or not, and if not, replace them with someone who will perform better, but just my opinion.... This is the NFL, and to stay there, you must perform at a high level.
  16. I am going with the "hiccup" analogy of this team this year, and I also agree our players are much better than they look right now..... Call me stupid, crazy, in denial, whatever, but things are NOT always going to go our way. When I look back at all the signings over the years, it has been hit or miss, but we always seemed to put a really good football team on the field. When I look at drafts over the years for many teams, how many 1st rounders are still playing football in the last 10 years? How many undrafted rookies have we signed that have been great for us? It will always be hit or miss and I still believe this organization does better than most other organizations in the NFL...... I am not going to come down on Ozzie, or anyone else in the front office until I have reason to, and a bad start to this season doesn't warrant that for me.
  17. These sound like pretty good signings, and I for one, am ALL open to making this team the best it can be..... If it's a revolving door right now to find what we need, than so be it. To not pursue guys to make this team better continually, whether doing great or not so great, would be to give up, and that would be wrong in my eyes and heart.......
  18. I can't say enough good to describe Marshall Yanda on the field and off, but one thing definitely comes to mind immediately about his entire career here in Baltimore, he reminds me off the old, throw-back players from the Baltimore Colts, that lived, and breathed for the game...... He has more than lived up to expectations for this organization.
  19. They might remind the Ravens of what they are missing, but not the Ravens fault that Torrey decided to move on because the Ravens couldn't afford to keep him or Anquan..... Just sayin'....... Sometimes the cap stinks......
  20. Seeing how Justin went down on that potential FG was pretty scary...... First thing I thought of is, WTH would this team do if he had been hurt from that sink hole??? Players like him, Yanda, Suggs (even though he is actually hurt and out), and yes, even Joe, I don't even want to think about having to replace any of them..... As we have seen with Terrell, we definitely have NOT been able to replace him....
  21. Yep, this entire season of losses so far, fall squarely on the lap of Joe and John Harbaugh...... Forget about all the dropped passes, penalties, possible interceptions that aren't caught, etc., but ALL the fault of Joe and John..... NOT buying it....
  22. Hurray!!!! But stay safe, men, ALL of you ......
  23. I think the ONLY thing that could have made me happier after hearing this news, is if we were coming off a Super Bowl win again !!! Happy, Happy, Happy !!!
  24. Imho, and no disrepect to B Billick who happened to be a very good Raven's head coach, John Harbaugh is the best coach to ever be a head coach of this organization....... If we were to lose him anytime soon, that would be a huge loss at minimum for our team. Note to colleges, STAY AWAY, LOL !!!!!!
