  1. Well, it's only fitting to have Nick Boyle in a boot and possibly with a serious foot injury the way this year is going, and has been....... At this point, nothing will surprise me...... However, it is very, very enjoyable though, to see that all of our young TEs are being recognized as 3 of the best in the league, but us fans already knew that ......
  2. This entire Raven's season honestly feeling like being trapped in the Twilight Zone...... I have NEVER seen more crap go wrong and the completely strange/bad situations that have taken place this year. And as far as the refs go, no surprise there with no punishment or anything, however, my opinion is that the NFL office can take their referee "weekly evaluations" and shove them where the sun doesn't shine, and that goes in defense of ALL the NFL teams that get screwed by them on a weekly basis. Sorry, rant over.........
  3. I think this could be a really good move...... Webb is experienced enough to switch to safety, and he played many years watching, and learning from Ed. I also believe he is much more experienced in reading opposing offenses. I will have to see a few more games with him playing safety to see how it works out, but I am all for it. If this last game is any indication, Webb should do well, it surely can't hurt........
  4. I am now placing myself on season-ending fan IR...... Due to continual inflicted wounds by the Ravens this year, (and I truly thought I could tough out the year), I am afraid my blood pressure after every game will not allow me to go on...... Yep, I am throwing up the big white flag of surrender...... Now looking to 2016, that should allow enough time to heal, hopefully.......
  5. How depressing........ And unfortunately, completely accurate.
  6. As I breathe a somewhat sigh of relief, I am also a little heartbroken that he will not play this year, but I know it is for the best for Dennis, kind of a rock and a hard place....... However, the fact he will still be on the sidelines to coach our new, young TE's, he is still contributing to the team in a huge way, and if that is what we will have for this year, that is great. Next year is next year, so just take care of things this year, and we will wait to see what next year brings........
  7. I still have confidence in our passing game, even with all that has transpired up till now, however, the run game is also a very important piece to our offense, and it certainly can't hurt to improve on it....
  8. Yep, thank you Steve, and PLEASE come back for one more year, you and Terrell have unfinished business.....
  9. I hope this is true, I believe we have one heck of a youngTE trio to boost this team....... Crockett Gillmore has already shown his ability and power like no Raven TE I have seen in awhile, besides Todd Heap, but I think Crockett shows even more potential.....
  10. I agree with Salamander.........Joe is the least of the offensive problems, and I have the MOST confidence in him. Sure, it may be difficult from here on out with Smith Sr going down, but if there is one thing Joe is getting used to is constant change, and adapting to it. These young TE's and WR's know what is expected of them, and it's their turn to start elevating their play. I am kind of looking forward to the rest of the season to see which players step up.......
  11. I'm torn on this one....... On one hand he is getting older, maybe not as productive as he once was, but on the other hand, he surely left his mark in Baltimore. The thought of him possibly coming back and finding a second wind and life here, makes my heart happy, and I think his real heart got left behind here........
  12. All I can say is, sounds to me like good signings....... Welcome to Baltimore Joe and Chuck, Play Like A Raven!! And now Joe has another Joe to throw to...... I am gonna have a really hard time for awhile seeing IR next to Smith Sr's name, though......
  13. When you hear about the amount of dissention within losing teams, and even some winning teams, I feel as fans we should be very lucky to have the Ravens and their organization as our team...... I know there is something very special here, and I hope it always stays this way. From the owner we have in Steve, all the way down to the workers behind the scenes, this is probably one of the best run organization in the NFL, if not thee best.
  14. I just wish he could make a miraculous recovery and be back this year....... I still believe his absence on the field this year is a good reason why the defense is not as dominate.... As always, just my opinion.....
  15. Joe is Joe, and will always be Joe, and I mean that in a good way....... For all of his doubters, and even haters (for whatever dumb reason) he will ALWAYS be giving his all, and playing his absolute best as our QB...... Seeing what he is now up against with Smith Sr's loss, will be a challenge for him, but I completely believe if any QB can overcome it, he can and will
  16. Love you Steve, so sorry this happened to you..... What a difference you have made as one of our beloved Ravens, please heal asap.....
  17. My five thoughts are: 1- oh no, Smith Sr 2- oh no, Smith Sr 3- oh no, Smith Sr 4- YAY, we won 5- oh no, Smith Sr
  18. I will ALWAYS have a very special place in my heart for Jacoby Jones...... Houston's "trash" was our treasure..... He helped get us to the Super Bowl, and helped us win it, I hated to see him go........
  19. Still thought this was funny...... !!
  20. I decided on something less harmful ......after the loss to SF, I decided to paint my nails as I usually do in purple this time of year, but since we had 10 games left, I painted a pale purple on all my nails and one dark purple signifying the 1 win, and hoping with every win, I would paint another nail dark purple...... So far, still only 1 dark purple nail.....
  21. Yep, you are correct in regards to blatant penalties...... What do you say about the completely incredulous "penalty" with John Urschel last night? And from what I could see, a few more questionable calls last night.... How does a team fight against that garbage? Players and coaches follow the rules to the best of their ability most of the time, but the same rules apparently do not apply to the refs.
  22. On a happier note, the video of Justin Tucker was completely awesome.......!!!
  23. I am not one to point fingers at the refs all the time, an honest called penalty is fine with me, but even with the Ravens making the mistakes that they make, some of these decisions and calls by the "pro" refs are beyond angering....... Why aren't they held to the same standards as the players? How can they keep making horrible calls and get away with them, week after week, not just for our team, but for all teams? Although they sure seem to target the Ravens most often..... Sorry, I know many will not agree with me on this and so be it, but it is getting really ridiculous game after game....
  24. Whatever helps........
  25. I have to agree with John E........My one wish of reversal would be that Sizzle never got hurt the first game, played the entire season in top form, and won the DPOY again........ This maybe would have changed the fortune of the entire team, and provided the push the defense needs to finish games, you know, a "Back to the future" kind of thing... As always, just my opinion......
