  1. Then maybe the NFL needs to do a much better job clarifying what is and isn't to be taken, consumed, used, etc., it would clear up a lot of "mis-understanding" ........
  2. Joe, keeping you in my thoughts and prayers...... Get this done and over with, and hopefully be back better than ever next season
  3. Keeping Coach Brooks and his family in my prayers....... I will no longer ask if there is anything else bad that can happen to this team, I think I have seen and heard enough for a lifetime just in this one season.......
  4. With everything going wrong this year that cannot be helped, this is something that is inexcusable...... These players know the rules, and trying to bend or get around them, or just ignoring them really hurts the other players..... It is really hard for me as a fan to forget about this with a player as well, going forward........
  5. After everything that has happened this year, especially with the refs and too many bad calls, I know it won't change a thing or even look good if they do it, but just ONE time, what I wouldn't give to see our players or Coach Harbaugh say what they really feel after a bullcrap penalty like yesterday, and I mean really go off...... We fans don't have to keep it in, and I know the players do, but just once I wish they'd let go........
  6. I hate to say it, but I will, same "stuff", different day, and no change in the near future........ BTW, that was a truly fantastic TD by Daniel Brown, too bad the refs had a bit of poor judgement once again.......
  7. What Moderator 3 said ........ I truly believe these moments will stay with this young man for his entire life, what a great thing to do for him ......
  8. That pass to Givens was spectacular, and I am betting no fan anywhere expected it to be caught by him..... I also thought Matt did very well for his first time starting a game in a year; Was he perfect? No, but show me one that is. He will get better, and hopefully there will be adjustments made to possibly cut down on intercepts going forward. He still has my support to see this season through.....
  9. I don't know if it is just me, but I actually thought I could get through the rest of the season with no pressure and just see each game through...... I couldn't be more wrong! After last night, I am getting just as stressed as any other game, doesn't matter one bit that half our main star starters are out for the rest of the year..... In reality, I also know we most likely will still end up with a losing record, but I can't help cheering on these games, particularly these young players and rookies on our team trying to fit in for the future !!
  10. Very impressed with both of these young men...... Buck is a pounder if ever I saw one, AND he can catch the ball. I do wish they had run the ball much more last night....... Looking forward to see so much more of them both for the remainder of the season.
  11. I disagree..... Matt Schaub hasn't played in a game in a year, and he is expected to pick up the reins from Joe and be spectacular? Not only is that unrealistic, but it is unfair. He showed a decent amount of chemistry and rhythm with several receivers last night, and that will only get better now that he is in the #1 seat...... His confidence will improve, as will his chemistry, and I believe he is still our best chance to play out this season and get a few more wins. Did you watch Tony Romo on Thanksgiving day? His second game back after being injured for a few weeks and threw 4 picks before he was knocked out of that disastrous game..... It happens to every QB in the NFL, even Brady........
  12. Finally, a lot of us fans getting the chance to see what Daniel Brown can do on the 53-man roster...... Just hope he is activated and can get some snaps.....
  13. I see what you are saying, but I have to disagree with the injury to Perriman starting the season in a downward spiral...... In my opinion, it was Terrell Suggs. Perriman is not a proven, NFL experienced player, and even healthy, we as fans needed to see what he could do on the field before any judgement could be made one way or the other. Besides, our offense has been holding up pretty well till now..... Suggs on the other hand, is pretty close to being the leader of our entire Ravens team, an established ProBowl player, not to mention all the other awards he has won, his loss is still stinging as far as I am concerned, and every player that has followed to IR has further made this year into a year from hell .........
  14. I have absolutely no repect for any Patriot's fan any longer..... They completely lost my respect after the playoff game last year, and made it 10 times worse by slamming Coach Harbaugh for, lets just say it as nicely as I can, "having no character" and many other really nasty garbage things flung, not to mention cheering vehemently every time one of our 1st stringers went down with an injury..... Broke the camels back for sure when they loudly cheered Joe and Justin getting injured and out for the year, and actually said they deserved it.... What????!!!!! However, I will never lower myself to their gutter standards and wish anything bad on their team, guess I was raised better...... But I will say they can kmb...... On a side note, every Steeler fan I came across was nothing short of sympathetic for all the players we have lost this season, they may have stated they still hate us, but many defended the Ravens to slimey NE fans, and expressed honest and deep sadness for losing Joe and Justin last week..... Steeler fans have way much more respect from me......
  15. You kind of have to laugh at these...... If we lose our sense of humor too, the season would definitely be harder than it already is, if that is even possible......
  16. There is no reason NOT to believe that Joe can and will come back and resume being our franchise QB next season, and I believe the contract thing will get ironed out...... If there's one thing Joe is, is a team player, and he IS a leader.... Enough said......
  17. After reading some of the comments here, I was hoping more fans would get behind Matt in his starting role now that Joe has gone out for the season...... I recall the 2013 season in Houston for Matt, and he started the year very well 2-0 in great comeback games; he lost the next 2 games, one to us and us just coming off a Super Bowl win, and one to the Seahawks who were headed for a Super Bowl win that year. He lost the next game, and on an early October day, a mob of lunatic Houston fans went to Matt's home, and threatened him and his family...... It is no wonder his play on the field went downhill after that, not to mention he sustained a moderate ankle injury. I know the fans of our Ravens are so much better than these so-called fans in Houston, and all I am saying is give Matt the chance to prove himself here. His career in football up till that 2013-2014 seasons speaks MUCH louder than what happened to him those 2 not-so-good years....... Hopefully he will get his confidence back and do well, but he is a winner, a very good QB, and he deserves the chance.
  18. Justin's tweet is hysterical, what a sense of humor for a guy that is enduring an ugly, painful injury....... And I have no doubts about both Joe and Justin coming back and be better than ever, a sense of positive thinking is the best thing to have knowing so many players do come back and never miss a beat. Joe and Justin are very positive people to begin with, so we will ride out the storm of losing so many great players this year to injury, and enjoy that light at the end of the tunnel, training camp 2016... (And no, that light is NOT a train coming..... )
  19. Welcome to the #1 roster spot Matt....... I liked Matt as Houston's QB, and I like him even more as one of our Ravens. Many fans may not feel the way I do, but he IS experienced, and he IS a winner, so there is no reason he can't be successful here...... I think Houston's fans and organization for that matter, stripped him of his confidence, and dignity, the same thing that they did to Jacoby Jones...... The guy deserves a chance at the very least..... GO GET 'EM MATT !!!
  20. Just a thought, after everything that has transpired this year, especially in the last 24 hrs, what is Steve Bisciotti's thoughts on his and our team at this point in time? As the owner, he must be getting "a bit stressed" ........
  21. Get well soon, Justin..... You are a great player, and a great man.......
  22. Now that the WORST possible injury has happened to our team, let's just get through the rest of the season..... I will now refer to this terrible, awful season as the "Murphy's Law" season ........ JUST. GET. IT. OVER. WITH.
  23. This makes me want to cheer him on all the more, and hope he becomes what we all hoped he would be, a great player
  24. Good article...... Personally, I am pretty much feeling the same way as Ben. Not much else to say seeing how this season is playing out, and I am starting to believe that no amount of whiskey, wine, or Xanax can take the sting and stress away, but I still can't find it in myself to give up this year.........
