  1. To spend a second round pick on a player then ask them to switch positions is just delaying their progress. It is difficult enough to make the leap to the next level without having to relearn a new position. It should really be a stretch goal to play another position. Either that or draft an ILB to play ILB. Feels as though the potential he has is being squandered on making a project. Also whatever was said to him about the intensity in the practices, please remind him on game day he has the green light to amp it up again. The guy obviously has the motor and drive to get after players, just safe it for the opponents not your team mates. They drafted him as a pass rusher. Trying him out at ILB was because we had an opening there. It's not like they moved him from OLB to DB. Good grief! I agree and was about to tackle this position myself. Well said. He did not totally change positions. His personal abilities make him a fit at both.

  3. The talk about how good KC looked was in OTAs and the beginning of TC when there was no contract. They really did him a disservice by talking him up the way they did because now fans think he has lost some of his spark. Changing from OLB or DE to ILB is a huge move. Sure you look good in 7 on 7 drills or in shells, but when you put on the pads you realize how much more traffic there is in the middle. It is also more difficult to read and react to keys in the middle. He will get there it is going to take time thought. I personally would like to see him get some work in passing situations coming off the edge or through the middle. I still really think his most natural position is at OLB, but with not a lot of depth at ILB it makes sense to put him there in order to get the guy on the field. And Flacco is not one to tell someone that is time to "Taz out". Thats just not his thing. You can be a leader without yelling screaming and banging your helmets together. At some of the more cerebral positions the last thing you want to do is get your adrenaline pumping. He did just what you said he isn't when he jumped on KC. Joe has emotion, he can normally keep it in check though. I do not disagree that Joe should approach KC and tell him loo, these are not our players. Take care of business between the whistlers!
  4. This is probably one of the most absurd post I have seen in a while. You have to be a Redskins fan, or you have no clue about anything relating to the football business. It's amazing how whenever someone posts something that another commenter disagrees with, they're automatically absurd, or not a Ravens fan, or know nothing about football. Apparently, your feelings get hurt very quickly. It's OK for other people to disagree with you, without you belittling them. Actually, McLoughan has done a mediocre job so far. I wouldn't take him over Ozzie , but at least I respect his opinion. I am sorry that post was a mess. LOL he/she deserved what they receive.
  5. Let him go? He will not be put on any teams active roster. He would have been chosen in the 4th by another team if they saw a one year learning wonder. He is solid and in two years he will be on the Ravens starting lineup. I hope they increase the # to 60.
  6. How about the rookie back Dixon? Are you saying he is released or what?
  7. The same Dixon that dropped everything? Waller is already better then Dixon IMO.
  8. Watching him this offseason, I think he definitely can. I agree.
  9. I like Dixon's style and he should get plenty of opportunities!
  10. None of those guys have what Perriman brings to the table and that is SPEED! You can't teach it. You either have it or you don't and he has it. Let me just add to it. Perriman was scary in Madden 16 where he was rated the fastest reciever in the game LOL. He was so fast that he could easy pass the corners going deep. If that happens in a real game, teams better watch out because the combine with speed and Flacco arm it could be ugly for teams. Flacco and Perriman could be a great tandem and a dangerous one in this league they just need a little chemistry. This is exactly what I have been patiently waiting for. Joe will definitely take those shots down field and with Perriman's speed he should be able to unload those bombs before anyone can adjust and re-position to stop them. Only downside is Time of Posession TOP, but if the running game gets going that will not be an issue. A 4 headed beast at RB. I won;t draft a Ravens back this season but they will get production. I say Dixon or West will be the lead horse if Forsett doesn't start hot.

However, why has Joe been under throwing his targets the last 2 seasons?
  12. That venom came from few when compared G.
  13. The good thing is he is a millionaire either way. Be smart with those dollars P. I do hope you get to play for our Ravens.
  14. Decent we can play others that look Good. I mean as a back up on the cheap yes.. However, I do not see a spot for him on this squad. I hope he gets healthy and has another opportunity.
  15. Phelps is one of the greatest athletes ever. The best Olympian ever and seems like a very GOOD person to boot. Hun.
  16. I would agree with you that Butler has become better each year and put in the work. Personally I think the chances of Butler making the team come down to whether Campanaro can show he can be dependable to suit up week in and week out. Butler has shown he can make plays and is much more crisp in his routes and understanding to get open. Say Camp cannot shake the injury thing, I would then expect Butler to make the roster as well as perhaps Reynolds, given Perriman not being in the line up to start the year. This would also mean that Reynolds gets stashed on the PS later into the season when Perriman returns. Just my thoughts.. Camp has shown he cannot do those exact things. I like him but he just always has some kind of issue. Some players play through injuries better then others. IMO Camp does not ply through them very well.
  17. Personally, I feel that Smitty will ball all out this season.
  18. These filters rock. lmao I can type whatever I want and it makes it as proper as it can,. Muwhahahahaha
  19. Doesn't need to perfect the playbook YET? What the heck? LOL come on man he should have that thing memorized. Look, I root for the kid but we do not know anything but he had a disorder of some type in his knees when he was younger, played very well in college, and was a first round pick for us. OH and that he has not played one gamete snap in his 2 season career.
