Don't think that's the case. Maybe a few fans will be calling for Mallett. Bottom line is Joe is our QB. This would be 1 game. Nobody in the Ravens organization is going to give up on a franchise QB based off the performance of a backup in 1 game. This isn't Dallas where Dak has half a season of starts for the organization to consider....plus Flacco is WAAY more durable than Romo. *knock on wood* Flacco's durability is in question since his knee injury and now a shoulder issue that isn't allowing him to practice all week. When have we ever heard that Flacco missed a week of practice due to an injury? Never. He is older, has taken a beating over the years and you can tell in the pocket (and I will be nice here) he is tentative. Mallet's previous issues had to do with off the field problems which appear to be resolved. I think that it will be more than a "few" fans if Mallett comes out and lights up the scoreboard. However, you are accurate in the fact that Flacco is Harbaugh's boy and no matter what, if Joe can play this year, Joe will play. I think with Flacco's age it is time we start looking for the next franchise qb in the draft. To get a good qb we are going to have to finish like we did last year so we can get a high pick. I can honestly say, if we go 5-11, Harbaugh will be looking at QB's in the draft because his future with the Ravens is now tied to the productivity of Flacco and if we do that bad, then it is possible that Harbaugh might make a change to save his own job. And what QB's are coming out that are worth it?

The Ravens are predictable. IMO this is the #1 thing to fix. A close second is the O-line is a mess.

I'm thinking theyre gonna give DB one shot on Sunday to show himself , then depending on the results he either will go to the PS or vice versa. In which case waller might get plucked if its him. Ofcourse I'm gonna root for daniel but waller just seems much more intriguing and could be exactly what this offense needs. ( along with better blocking) DB blocks well.

That Raider O-line is as good as Dallas's IMO.

They are starting their 3rd string RT against Doom. And their center is hurt. Their O-line isn't healthy, our pass rush is. I LIKE!

IMO the Raiders get blown out. Our O sets the tone by stretching the field with Flaccos arm and stretching them out with our WR depth. Then the running game finishes it out!

THIS is truth.

Sadly, they almost always chase the money. And then, for a lot of them, it's gone within five years after they stop playing. Paul Krugger, Torey Smith, Haloti Ngata and now KO. They all took more money to go elsewhere. Krugger got big money to go to one of the worst teams. Torey got a little more $ than what the Ravens were offering and probably loses it all to taxes, living in California. Haloti always wanted more money, so there isn't much mystery that he moved on, only talking about coming back after his deal is done in Detroit. Now KO is salty about not being paid more than the Ravens could afford to stay where he said he wanted to stay ! In the long run I can see going somewhere else to make millions more. Just be willing to take the BAD with the extra money guys ! Worst Team, Higher taxes & bad team, Bad team and living in Detroit. KO'S problem, I'm not quite sure of... He got big $ and gets to live in Southern California ! I guess he just wants something to cry about. Maybe Suggs can help him out with that this weekend...! Psst, Southern Cali's the issue.
