  1. I don't think Mallett has done anything to hurt his spot. He has a 99 QB rating in the first two preseason games and that's going against mostly starters. Johnson has played well, but it's been against 2nd and 3rd stringers. That 2-minute drive was mainly a result of the Colts playing soft defense. I like Johnson, though. It'll be interesting to see if the Ravens choose to keep 3 QBs this year.

  2. It's not a sexy pick, like taking Mosley two years ago, but I think we'll look back at this as the right pick. This guy is a franchise left tackle and you don't get a chance to get them too often. He has great feet and balance, rooted by tree trunks for legs. He will maul in the run game and is a rock is pass-pro. I love him in his interviews. I'm not sure whether you cut Monroe now or plug him in at LG as a rookie like Ogden, but he will be starting day one. Really looking forward to it.

  3. Jack is my favorite player in the entire draft. I think he will be a special player for a long time. I don't think there will be a problem getting him on the field his first year with Mosley/Smith because he can play all over the defense. He really is a Jack of all trades. The only player I would even consider taking over Jack is Ramsey because I think he will also be a great player and it's a bigger positional need. I doubt Ramsey falls, though. I really like Bosa, but not over those two. I think his ceiling is limited.

  4. I might be alone in this, but I hate the Bengals more than the Steelers right now. We have owned the Steelers (won the last 8 of 11) and the Bengals have owned us. It would be so sweet if the Bengals, having their best season since the 80s, had yet another playoff loss, and end their season no different than any other the past half decade. The Bengals' 25 year streak without a playoff win (longest in the NFL) is something I want to see stay alive. I find it hilarious.

  5. I would call Forsett the breakthrough player but not the comeback player. This was his first real opportunity, his first year getting 200 carries. Before coming here, he had one season of over 600 rushing yards. So it really wasn't a comeback. Kelechi gets my vote. He came back from back surgery stronger than ever.

  6. Ravens07 I agree he is a decent SS. Yet, still disagree because he struggled at tackling. A player in the box cannot struggle THAT bad when tackling!

He was an outstanding tackler in college and that one of the primary reasons he was drafted. I feel like with Elam it's all mental. He has lacked confidence and has played scared since he came into the league. He worries so much about not messing up that he forgets to just play and he, of course, messes up. I think this is the year he gets his mentality right and he plays like he did back in college.
