  1. Steelers have only 6. Remember their "Stairway to 7" bullcrap.
  2. Need long term deals. Longer they wait. The higher the price
  3. Basically I'm just worried we'd be weakening a 3rd spot on the line and I'd like to see what Roman and whatever Oline coach we get can do and just too many changes cant be good for improving our run game and protecting Joe and right now staying consistent at the OT positions are more important than a NT where we do have some depth but I definitely understand your concerns.
  4. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/326200-pees-to-step-down-as-pats-defensive-coordinator Seemed like the last year he was there his defense blew some big leads but overall like he does here he has some top rated defenses. He just has troubles protecting a lead which is very concerning. I also have my doubts about him leaving on his own will but I cant prove it. Cant get any info on just 4th qtr collapses but I wasn't happy we didn't coffin corner kick him right out the door.
  5. Idk but I thought out of all 3 teams that had the option St Louis fans deserved this the least. It'll be funny if the Chargers become the most popular team in LA. Kroenke's head would explode.
  6. 2 teams in LA is just pathetic. Heck should have moved to St Louis and killed the Chargers name.
  7. If he can improve the blocking of guys like Maxx and Waller that would be something. Pitta to me if we keep him has to line up on the outside only. Another option to help the running game especially in short situations is the eligible oline guy. Roman is gonna bring a lot to our run game imo. Not fair to say 3 places and list 4 positions lol but I'm assuming you meaning RG which teams tend to run more that way. So in looking at LG and RT you have 2 completely different situations whereas LG needs to do multiple things like getting to the 2nd level, double teaming, straight blocking or being asked to pull while the RT is more basic in his assignments but a lot of times is left alone on an island either sealing off the edge or drive blocking for the running game and containg the outside on speedy passrushers in the passing game its just not the blind side. I totally believe Williams is gonna price himself out cuz there's teams with much more money than we got and he's gonna get more than 10 mil a year. Don't kid yourself Wagner gonna be cheaper and probally can be had in the 6 mil range and at the end of the season we had 2 serious weak links in our oline and we need as much continuity as we can. Wagner imo is a do everything RT that's above average at everything and he needs a fair contract and we don't need a bidding war and Lewis can get a complete offseason running at guard but I'm just not sure if he should be a starter or be our 6th man. This is gonna be a very interesting offseason lol.
  8. RIP David Modell. Thanks for everything you did for the fans and the city of Baltimore.
  9. Congrats to Leslie Frazier but I didn't want to see him as DC here. Not with the Tampa 2 underneath mindset. To all the people that gave Frazier complete credit for the improvement in the turnover dept why is it on the players for the defenses 4th qtr collapses. I'm not saying Frazier wasn't a good DB coach cuz I believe he is and has most certainly helped but this is hypocrisy at its finest. Hewitt may be a decent option but did he pick enough of Frazier's brain and gain the respect of our players and show improvement from 2 yrs ago.. Somebody mentioned Chuck Cecil earlier. Big fan. Could also be DC in waiting.
  10. It was a 10 pt lead with approx. 4 min left.
  11. Yep strapping on the boot. Acting like a hero.
  12. Welp all wild cards knocked out. Hopefully the games are tighter next week.
  13. Exactly. Also in the Packer game no let up on defense. Strict man to man with deep safety coverage. Always stay aggressive.
  14. Ive seen some LSU games and I really like him. Maybe a trade back. Does him in the 1st and Taco Charlton in the 2nd sound reasonable
  15. Steelers. Ugh! Lions. Something weird gonna happen here. Seahawks don't seem to have the same mojo. Packers, Just seem to be on such a roll right now and they aint sleeping on the Giants. Jared Cook will be the difference maker. Texans. I like the Raiders O better but that Texans D is righteus.
  16. Can somebody give me an opinion of Tredavious White (LSU CB). Is he 1st rd talent? I see no mention of him at all.
  17. Harbaugh is the captain and he'll go down with the ship. Glug.glug glug.
  18. Castillo brought the zone blocking scheme to Baltimore period. Yanda was a big complainer of the change from power run scheme to zone block as were others. http://www.espn.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/12104/castillo-confident-ravens-can-run-the-ball http://baltimoresportsandlife.com/ravens-zone-blocking-scheme-whats-wrong/ While the Ravens may have used some sprinkles of the zone scheme during the beginning of Harbaughs years here when Castillo got here it became full blown out zone scheme all the time and our running game has suffered. When Kubiak came on he kept Castillo cuz of their same philosophies.
  19. On free agency we resign all our ERFA's and RFA's. Its like 12 players. Might as well bring them back. On our own FAs Id like to see Juice,Wagner,Guy,Elam and Levine resigned back mainly cuz of diversity and SpTeam acumen and solidarity on the OLine and Id like B Will and Aiken but I believe they'll price themselves out and I believe both would bring comp picks. On cuts according to OverTheCap we already have 5.4 mil dead money mainly cuz of Monroe and Forsett. Doom (2.375 mil dead and 6 mil saved), Wright (2.67 mil dead and 2.67 mil saved), Watson ( 1 mil dead and 3 mil saved), Arrington (666,668 dead and 2.1 mil saved) and Lewis (466,668 dead and 1.8 mil saved) which would give us at the end 12,575,000 mil dead which is rough but nessassary imo but we'd also save 15,566,666 mil which opens up a lot of doors for us. On paycuts it would be awful tough to ask anybody but I would approach Webb and Pitta to possibly drop some of their 5.5 mil base or Yanda at his 6 mil base. Joe if anybody is curious has a 6 mil base while Jimmy is making 8.5 which is by far the highest. NO DEFERRALS. Tired of passing the buck Sidenote on Zuttah is right now we have nobody to replace him so I'd keep him for now.
  20. We can also do A LOT BETTER. You good with mediocrity Dog. Watch that GB game last night. Lions down by 14 with 2 min left. GB comes out in hard man to man with their top 2 CBs already out. Gave up some yds but they stopped them. No way Pees would have did that.
  21. Lets go out with a winning record.
  22. His offense definitely got better as the season went along but my main concern with Marty is he likes the short passing game which is starting to make me ill. He would be my #1 choice but I wouldn't be surprized if Elway makes him HC This ones tough cuz he commited to run the ball but he's also had read and react QBs running his system which Joe don't fit that mold lol.
  23. He collected 4 more years of paychecks from Bisciotti. Got a nice gig as a TV analyst. And how do you know nobody wanted to hire him? Not all discussions are public. Whats Jon Gruden,Dungy and Cowher's excuses?
  24. Its hard to say what we gonna do at WR and I do think Vincent Jackson would be in that price range and I like it but I like to see only 1 yr deal. Michael Floyd could be interesting to where I think he could be had on a prove it deal. I went to OTC to check on FA WRs and tried to see if there was any lesser knowns I thought could be a good signing and I didn't see much. Aiken was there and he could be had for reasonable money but I'm thinking we can go with Perrriman,Wallace and Camp for top 3 now cuz I don't think Ozzie gonna mess with his comp pick formula so we may have to look for later cuts which will happen One interesting name I noticed tho was Adam Thielen who's in RFA. Would you make a play for him if he's offered a 2nd rd tender. At least we could force the Vikings to pay more lol.
