  1. On the oline I'd rather see Yanda move to RT than Lewis if need to be. Taliaferro to FB is also interesting and I believe our best candidate since I sure as heck don't want to draft one and Waller to WR since we have no redzone targets out there and I can see mismatches.
  2. To be able to ball out,be clutch and be the mother of all bombs.
  3. That's sad.
  4. Is this becuz he's not a fit for the Ravens or is he not worthy of being a 1st rd pick for a 4-3 team also?
  5. This tape shows it if he doesn't get by with his initial move he's done.
  6. I would love to have Tre White on this team but with the addition of Carr I truly believe we wont take a CB at 16 but he's worth it.
  7. Did you watch the youtube link? You might get a different opinion. It was the bowl game they played against FSU. Also watched an Ohio St youtube and he looked solid. There was times he was soundly blocked but even then he was driving the guy back. I do think he is mainly a hands in the dirt and not a standup guy especially when I seen no coverage out of him at all except peeling off on a RB in the flat.
  8. I can buy your argument bout whether he's a good standup player but its absolutely not fair to say Taco cant get off of blocks. He'd be a great pickup for a 4-3 team like the Lions. You want a player that cant get off blocks take a close look at Charles Harris. Good initial move but then gets stonewalled if it doesn't work and is horrible at setting the edge. Harris is my upset pick at 16 or even 47,74 or 78. https://youtu.be/k9ZoN63ekR0
  9. Its the soul that departs your body. Your organs don't. Very touching article since I remember Reuland but missed any news of his death and the great Rod Carew.
  10. Prayers to the whole Heap family.
  11. Remember Chad Williams the safety we used to have?
  12. Look 3 posts above yours
  13. Are you the owner lol?
  14. They lost a guard and a RT and Collins could fill either spot plus that still leaves one opening and the Boys are contenders this to me is why a trade isn't happening.
  15. Ok so you meant as safest which I believe also. Pretty funny how they just now ran an article on him in the news section.
  16. Are you suggesting we take McCaffrey with the 16th pick? Might not be crazy since his stock seems to be seriously rising and he could also help out on spteams but it just doesn't seem that would be a Ravens move plus I see him more as a specialty player not a featured back.
  17. So this is the QB that threw to Davis. Do you know of any good footage to look at. Want to look more at Davis also. Already checked out the Wisc game. Have you checked out Gustafson from Montana at all?
  18. Did you mean highest ceiling lol. Thanks for your opinion on Davis. I know this is a John Ross thread but just to have fun who do you like better between Williams/Davis for us. As of now I like Williams. And what if Barnett is there?
  19. @PurpleHorseman Gotta give you credit man you definitely think out of the box. I believe Lawson asnd Williams will be drafted before the 47th pick plus Juju should go in the 2nd. Now with Collins why in the world would the Cowboys even trade. He's very affordable this year and if need to be could stick a 1st rd tender on him the following which would also be our options but yet with a 1st rd pick we could have our player for 5 yrs at an affordable price especially with the way we operate. Now with Olinemen in this draft it would be great if we could trade back but theres 5 linemen that wont be available with our 2nd pick imo. Robinson,Lamp,Bolles,Ramcyk and Feeney. All 5 of these guys could all start for us right now.
  20. Just funny how you mentioned Boykin and Dak in the same sentence. Kelly is an intriguing option. His mobility is underrated and he's got a very good arm plus his bloodlines but with his diva attitude totally reminds me of Cutler. I'd only take him as a UDFA but he'd probally become a circus sideshow. What do you think of Brady Gustafson from Montana?
  21. Well spent the last half hour studying the big 3. Williams against Alabama and Auburn. Davis against Wisconsin and Ross against Colorado and Oregon. Ross by far best RAC but against stiff corner competition against Colorado had major problems getting open on anything downfield and dropped more passes than what I like. Oregon was like a highlight reel but this guy has got playmaker written all over him plus he has return ability. Williams to me had the best hands and can body off a defender especially on slants. Like his size and seems to have enough speed. Lack of separation could be a problem but without a doubt can definitely win a contest going for the ball. I know a lot of people don't consider this important but seems to have no interest in run blocking. Of course coaches can correct this. Routes need to be more crisp. Davis I probally need to see more but he was finding ways to get open against Wisconsin. I watched a few Wisconsin games and their secondary was by far the weakest part of their D. Just worried bout the small school status even tho I know I can have Antonio Brown thrown in my face all day. For me Williams is my only interest since Ross to me is not a chain mover and I don't trust Davis. What do you think of Davis?? As to the Bills they definitely going WR imo (so this really means they'll take Ryan Ramcyk lol). Other teams could be the Titans,Saints,Bengals and Eagles. While I also believe quality corners will fall to the 3rd so will receivers. Isaih Ford I'm really high on (Va Tech is my favorite ACC team) and Kupp seems to be freefalling down just to name a couple.
  22. I'm thinking the Bills might select him. Already got their stud In Watkins so why not get a field stretcher which would open up things even more. Tyrod has got cannon for an arm. Personally I'd wait till the 3rd to get a receiver. The pool will still be deep there.
  23. You wasn't getting my main point which was slicing the gap and collapsing the pocket are both effective passrushes. You said one was more effective. Williams was constantly collapsing the pocket at the beginning of games while being double teamed. Not sure what you looking at. I seen it a bunch of times. I brought up the other quote cuz that was the main problem with Williams and I hate to say this about an 11 mil dollar player but maybe less snaps would help with Pierce filling in at the 1 earlier in the game instead of having both on the field for multiple snaps. Nice for the run game. Bad for the pass game. Slimming down may be the plan cuz for 11 mil a year I want him on the field. We'll see what type of weight he comes in at training camp.
  24. Jernigan had a lot more chances at rushing the passer and when he was getting doubled it was playing 1 tech which if Pierce was in it'd be the same deal. And also saying "block eaters" don't get as much pressure as gap shooters is complete bull. Pocket collapsing is not pressure?? Really depends on the situation. Block eaters frees up blitzers while gap penetrating does work better with 4 man rushes. But cmon lets not make it that cut and dry. Pierce had 2 sacks to Jernigans 5 in way less oppurtunities. Now the bolded part gets me. Do you really think either Pierce or Williams are not a threat if they only get one on one blocking. Seriously??
