  1. Jeff Fisher and Les Snead in a combo package. Funny how this thread has started and we haven't even fininshed week 2 yet.
  2. I believe it 5 modern day players, a contributer (like a coach or owner) and then 2 players selected by the the veterans committee who are usually shoo=ins. Not 100% sure tho.. The 5 I would put in Kurt Warner(QB), Alan Faneca(OL), Terrel Owens(WR), John Lynch/Steve Atwater(DBs just one of these tho since I believe they completely equal with my nod going to Atwater cuz of longevity), and Morten Anderson(PK). Jimmy Johnson would be my coach. Some really close ones tho would be Terrel Davis who I don't believe that Elway would have won his SBs without and Simeon Rice who was sackmaster central. How come Kevin Greene(3rd most sacks ever) was not on the list? He should not only be on the list he should be in. One interesting name to me tho might be the 1st NT in Fred Smerlas who ate up blockers and allowed guys like Bruce Smith and Cornelius Bennett to make plays but NTs don't get stats or no love but they contribute mightily. Makes me curious who is actually gonna be the 1st true NT to actually make the HOF. Wilfork??
  3. RIP Coach Brooks and thank you.
  4. Ronnie Stanley. Facing good passrusher after good passrusher has gotta to make you better. Shouldn't it? Suggs. The rust is gonna come off as the season goes along. Flacco. Will only get better in chemistry with his wideouts and will regain comfortability with Pitta.
  5. They must be drinking and golfing buddies with Kroenke. I know we suck but we still got each other.
  6. I second this.
  7. Maybe they should figger out who oversees the police depts and makes all the rules. That would be a good start. As long as they respected the flag on 9/11 I have no problem with anybody taking a knee cuz its their freedom of choice which ironically the flag represents.
  8. Player of the game.........Shareece Wright #24.
  9. Siragusa/Sam Adams.
  10. If I had known it was on I may have taken the time to watch the Penn St/Pitt game and telling by the final score I wished I didn't miss it. At one time these 2 teams always played their final game against each and hopefully this series continues. I was scrolling between 3 games last night(Tenn/Va Tech,Arkansas/TCU and BYU/Utah) and that last game had 2 successive targeting calls which eliminated the player both times and I thought they were fairly clean hits. The one did hit the head but the guy led with his shoulder and both players were low to the ground and the other seemed like a clean shot after a pick. Man that crowd was riled too.
  11. I think Cunningham wore #1 didn't he.
  12. I as a guy that gets up between 3 and 4 in the morning like this idea. I can catch a full game. Catching a few drives and maybe getting to halftime stinks.
  13. One more day.
  14. I think its safe to say the Browns will finish last in the division and then its rock....paper.... scissors.
  15. Harbs wants him down there so he can yell at him. Lookee here Dean none of that dumb stuff. Awright.
  16. Just put me down for Mike Wallace every week.
  17. That really stinks.
  18. If I was him I wouldn't resign with us neither. Gotta better chance in Tampa. Would like to see Ochi ans Onwauser resigned. Both these guys got serious talent
  19. Well definitely the Forsett and Campanaro waivings surprized me.I figgered lack of game plan and targeting were done for a reason. Wouldn't be surprized if Camp could be the injury recall and I really like it this year that we can leave our options open on who we can bring off the IR So as of now 11 of the 53 roster spots are filled by rookies.
  20. Yeah it looks like last year he wasn't utilized under Trestman and was used more under Kubiak. It must have been 2 yrs ago that I was thinking and not last year lol when he got injured but he was starting to look like a solid contributor. I guess we'll find out tomorrow what the deal is. Thanks for coming up with the info Charles.
  21. How am I gonna have any proof. I'm not one of the coaches. But his pass routes are suspicious. He Had a 2 game stretch where he made numerous catches and was stepping up as a playmaker before he went down again. If you remember the 9 yd run then you should these games. The injuries is what has been killing him.
  22. To all the Camp haters. He has made plays when healthy unless yall were taking a snooze or digging in the fridge at the time. He hasn't been targeted a lot since they was sending him deep a lot opening up the underneath for guys like Butler and Mathews to be targeted. This could be done for a reason but shhhhh. We must be silent and not talk about this. I think Pierce also makes the team and Urban and especially Davis need to look over their shoulders cuz there is a boulder picking up steam coming down the mountain. Potential can get you fired.
  23. No to Hester. Let Moore do kickoffs and Camp do punts. I'm not gonna demonize Camp for one mishandle
  24. Harbs did make the famous quote about not keeping potential but the best 53. Pierce to me just seems like a more bonafide NT than Davis. What do we do if Williams does go down? Btw I'm thinking we keeping Davis over Pierce with Pierce going to ps We've seen 1st rounders(and overall 1st rd picks) flop tremendously while undrafted players have made the HOF. Its not the rule of thumb but it happens. And I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "eye test" but players are evaluated mainly using this form of test.
  25. He wont be one of the top 32. Analytics. Guess that means get rid of anybody that makes money. They traded Mingo too. Is his injury that serious?
