  1. He played the deeper drops keep play in front game.
  2. You're spot on about the running game. Seems like we do terrible running the ball out of shotgun. Just doesn't seem to be enough of a headstart for the runner. Go to the I with possible FB motion lining up on the edge to create different looks or if you want to spread them out just line more people on the outside plus playaction works a lot better lining up behind center imo. In other things Tavon Young has definitely wrapped up the other CB position. Having CJ Mosley back shows just how much he meant to our defense.
  3. This last quote does some to validate your point since I didn't know about the drops across the boards like that but you gotta realize patriotism here runs high among some folks (me included altho I never said I was gonna stop watching) but we'll see what happens after the election to get a true feel of this situation and probally have to give it at least a month and that would be including Thanksgiving which is probally the most important day to see whats up Now lets look at your quote SNB posted lowest viewership rating but by how much? Could be .0001 pt. NASCAR logged double-digit viewership in race to race comparisons. Look at dates NFL season is starting. UFC comparisons are combined but they wrote it in such a way as to make the numbers look high which the media has a way of doing to construe things to the way they want you to understand things. Also NBA fans is a lot smaller fan base than NFL from an earlier post that was made. Now the thing is the NFL has had a rating drop of what? Ive heard about 24% but this could be off. How much was the ratings drop in 2000 or any other election year?. I haven't looked it up so I really don't know but I highly doubt its as dramatic as this year.
  4. Presidential race happens every 4 yrs. Ratings didn't drop during those other yrs. The Hof game? Are we being serious? I listen to a lot of radio and a lot of people said they weren't watching the NFL cuz of players kneeling cuz they found it disrespectful. Are they lying? Are they a farce? The NFL didn't change that much in one year for that kind of drop.
  5. Depends on what is meant by tough. Tough as in....good? or tough as in black and blue play? Right now we 1st in neither and that's just in the AFC. Edit: read thread wrong but we far from the strongest.
  6. Since the Bengals have a lot of depth at CB this could be a good move. Sometimes you just get bumped by the numbers and right now they're 6th best could be better than our 3rd best.
  7. Whats that got to do with Will Davis?
  8. I remembered I could watch sportscenter 3 hours straight. Believe it or not I think the internet is killing it cuz I get my sports news I need off the net or off the radio. Actually I hardly do TV anymore unless its a sportsgame, news or a good movie.
  9. Double the cap?? Maybe but then expect pay per view. This is a great idea. Even if its only a mil per player and it should be per year( the length of contract). Did I already tell you I like this idea?
  10. I like that offense but I guess with the way the OLine is playing.........
  11. The Patriots will be losing their 4th rd pick not the Browns 4th.
  12. If we can get two 20s for a 10 then by all means do it.
  13. I really don't believe we'd be involved in any trades unless we sellers. With their analytics which I believe is crap I can see the Browns trading Haden.
  14. I'm gonna give you the laymans terms. Water helps constipation. Any sorts of constipation without getting into specifcs
  15. Pressure cookers are on sale at Walmart.
  16. Its not really fair to say the Ravens problems are cuz of the last 4 yrs of the draft when a lot of these players are developing and getting a foothold in the NFL. The meats and potatos of a team are your veterans from the 5-9 playing experience range which homegrown we have 4 (Flacco,Webb,Jimmy and Pitta). I don't nessassarily see stars in this group. Just average to good players and this is the main reason we faltering now. I know we had other good players from the 08-12drafts but they not on the team now which is what matters now. Another reason is bad contacts (ex. Signing Zuttah to 5 yr deal when we had enough room under cap to keep him at original trade contract). Zuttah had not even played one snap for us and we extending the deal? So to me the writer is wrong. He's picking the wrong 4 yrs. 1st of all you cant nessarrily judge a player until after 3 yrs and I believe in a couple of yrs we gonna finally be able to keep and sign our own players even if they not stars and that is critical cuz our aging guys will be coming off the books and keeping continuity is what made our team great in the 1st place. The bottomline is is hoping guys like Jernigan and Mosley really start stepping up and becoming stars and we resign them and they maintain the same caliber of play and others in these drafts and regain the nice mixture of prime veterans, guys on their 1st contracts(gotta keep drafting strong) and a sprinkling of aging veterans. That's the perfect cocktail. I do worry that we wont be able to keep guys like B Williams and Wagner due to salary cap problems again but we shall see. I'm hoping we can keep Williams especially since I see star material and then this will start the process or otherwise you can add 2013 draft to the mix.
  17. Whoops. Accidently hit quote when I meant to hit next page lol. As far as Harbs is concerned he needs to be evaluated but not until the end of the season.
  18. We're one game behind in the AFCNorth and we're talking bout time to tank. Damn man talking bout stepping off the deep edge. Personally I don't worry about draft picks. The 15th pick can be just as good as the 5th pick if not better, Critical thing is carrying positivity over into the next season and developing a winning attitude.
  19. I don't know but Id bring Jim Zorn in here quick.Somebody better tell him to plant the feet.
  20. If we lose this game I'm never posting again.
  21. On 3rd downs There was a lot of missed tackles. Whose fault is that If it is on the players then we gotta start questioning the FO
  22. Its all the fault of the tackle coach.
  23. We kept it within 8 pts.
  24. Pees get a new DC. Pretty pees
  25. I'm sure the Kaep situation has nothing to do with the ratings drop.
