Just now, -Truth- said:Was hoping Nick Perry would still be avavailable. Good pick. He's reportedly due for a bigger role. Tyler Higbee gets the short straw by going to a team with two quality TEs. Wish I would've gotten him so I could get him involved and not waste his talent spending most of the PT on the bench.
Just because you don't have a TE with potential off the field issues yet doesn't mean you have to have one...
Thanks @-Truth- for making my selection. When I picked Lorenzo Mauldin a few rounds ago, I went back and forth between him and Jordan Jenkins. So, with Jenkins still around I had to pull the trigger. I really liked what I saw from him at Georgia and he just has that feel of a player who will be around for a long time.
Despite losing Junior Galette to an injury, here is my DE corps: Michael Bennett, Devin Taylor, Lorenzo Mauldin and Jordan Jenkins.

Well, you are the GM and I think position coaches gets a little too deep.

Same, I've made very few of my selections here in the continuation.
11 minutes ago, -Truth- said:With all of my suspended players, it'll be even more than that lol Speaking of which...
As they said in South Park: "You Rack Disciprine!"
I ended up going 61 rounds last year because of a few suspensions and injuries.
10 minutes ago, rmw10 said:I was willing to stick around as long as the pace was going smoothly, and it looks like we've got that point, so me.
Yeah, the pace has been going very nicely
Back when I was looking for a starting NT, my backup option to Steve McLendon was Rodney Gunter. To get him here many, many rounds later in the continuation is very nice. Gunter played well as a rookie all across the board for Arizona and earned 11 starts. His play was even better if you consider he was a 4th round pick out of Delaware State that was basically unheard of. For me, he'll technically be my backup 1T, but he'll see time at 3T as well.

Thanks @allblackraven for making my selection. Bill Belichick loves his lefty punters and currently has a good one in Ryan Allen, so I decided to take him as my punter. (Plus I think that was a pretty cool picture I found.)
With Adam V and Ryan Allen, I believe I landed 2 good, borderline top 10 players at their position, in rounds 34 and 36. That is why I always wait until the continuation for drafting a K and P.

And he's coming off a 0 sack campaign
Wish we were able to have this pace in the actual game.
This pick is reactionary, but not from the CB conversation we just had in this thread. Coty Sensabaugh was 1 of my 3 backup options to Skrine back in the 26th round and the other 2 have gone (McKelvin and Cyrus Jones), as well as Keenan Lewis who I had highly rated as well. I wanted to nab one of these 4 CBs and with only Sensabaugh left, I had to draft him. He can play both inside and outside and will be my 4th CB. LA gave him about $5 million per year in FA, which is the going rate for decent #2 CBs and he'll be my #4. You can never have enough CBs.
5 minutes ago, Archeearl92 said:You will get my Board for my next pick though ! This one I will be able to make myself once you make yours.
I'll only be up for a few more hours, so someone else would probably be better (mine will go to rmw, allblack and Truth once I log off).

Lol. I do try and avoid sending my board over like that, so no worries if you don't want to. My board for this pick is set though.
41 minutes ago, allblackraven said:Thanks. Small school but huge motor. I didn't like the fact that Pittsburgh got him.
Yep, straight up dominated that lower competition
6 minutes ago, Archeearl92 said:Can someone take my Board for the night again?
I can take it for a bit (and you pick right after me).
3 minutes ago, BmoreBird22 said:I can't really blame injuries, personally, for Haden's entire 2015. I know he had the thumb and rib injuries (both were minor enough) with the big concern being concussions. However, prior to even suffering the concussions, he had PFF's eighth worst corner grade, so we can't use those entirely as an excuse.
I think the big concern is that Haden has progressively seen his grades get worse for the Browns, culminating with a horrendous 2015. I'm with you in that he's a good corner who's name seems to carry more value than his play.
You are up
On Haden, I 100% agree that he is more of a name value right now, but that talent is definitely still there. I think where I drafted him is a reflection of that, because he was the 25th CB off the board at pick 244 in the 8th round and he'll be my CB #2.
20 minutes ago, BmoreBird22 said:I think I'd rather take my chances hoping Mckelvin gets healthy than taking a chance that Buster Skrine ever improves.
I've always liked McKelvin, but he can't help you if he isn't on the field. 13 missed games last 2 years and 4 straight seasons not playing all 16 and he'll be 31 in Sept. I know Skrine isn't the best, but as a #3 CB with 2 pretty good CBs outside of him I think he'll play fine for me.

Thanks @-Truth-. Adam V was the last K I felt pretty confident in, and I had him rated over a lot of kickers that had already gone. I know I won't get much long term from him, but he was still one of the best kickers in the league last year. Plus, he gives me another former NE guy for Belichick.
14 minutes ago, Archeearl92 said:I think Leodis McKelvin is a major steal at this point especially with Schwartz as his DC
He was on my short list when I draft Skrine, when I was looking for a SCB.
8 minutes ago, BmoreBird22 said:I finally found the big board thread...
You are up.
5 minutes ago, RavensPunkXVX said:Yeah, not sure if I'd get him in the rookie draft nor do I want to spend a pick on him. I need some help at other positions. lol
Yeah, RB and WR don't look too good. Honestly, I'd drop CJ Spiller. I think he's more likely to be cut than play a significant role.
6 minutes ago, -Truth- said:I was considering him myself. Good pick up. My only concern was with the struggles he endured in 2014 before the injury-plagued season that followed. Would've picked him up if my CB duo was a little younger collectively.
He was technically my highest rated CB back when I took Skrine in the 26th round, but I wanted someone who could go in the slot.
2 minutes ago, RavensPunkXVX said:That does help. That was going to be my deciding factor. A pretty deep league so id like to have two starting QBs.
Definitely keep him then if it is a pretty deep league. Only Goff is guaranteed to start games as a rookie QB.
