Yeah if it's the guy I think you think I think you're going after, he's not one of my targets.
I may surprise you though. I'm pretty sure what you're thinking I'm aiming for, but I have a plan and it may or may not include that player.
Probably not as much as you're thinking, depending on how you're evaluating what certain guys can do. I have a pretty good idea of what you'll be trying to do and who most of that money is going to.
Yeah I think I've made it pretty obvious, unfortunately. I really had no choice, though. Luckily, I have the space to outpay most people.
Shh I don't want people freeing up cap space to beat me on him.
In all seriousness, we may be competing for a few players after taking a look at your depth chart.
There's no one worth paying that after everyone tagged the good ones. But that was probably smart, anyone I want I can get since I have the most cap space.
Minnesota Vikings
Terrence Cody
40 stars
Although i think i overpaid for babin, I know how these free agent biddings ago on pass rushers lol
I'm glad my pass rush is pretty much settled.
On a somewhat related note, as I was researching my team, I found out that Kruger was a lot better last year than we all thought. He may not have the sack numbers to back it up, but he got tons of pressure on QB's.
If only Troy was the player he used to be, I would take him.
Or if his salary was cut in half. I wouldn't mind having him, but at 8.5 stars, it's a big no.
Pretty pumped to have 6 picks in the top 85 now.
TRADE(Will Update Page Later)
Cinci Receives: Round One 14th Overall(2 Stars)
Cleveland Receives: Round One 24th Overall(2 Stars), Round 3 Pick 21(From TEN(From GB)) (.5 Stars), Devon Still(.5 Stars)
Confirmed
even with post june 1st designation?
He already used that on Romo.
PLAYER [profanity deleted]. BASE SALARY SIGNING BONUS OTHER BONUS DEAD MONEY CAP FIGURE Jason Witten TE 5,000,000 2,500,000 912,000 (8,648,000) 8,412,000
Yeah, Witten is only 5 stars for you, but it costs Nate an additional 3.5 stars to get rid of Witten on top of the 5 that he's already paying him.
Some of you guys need to get your depth charts up.
I know I said I was done trading, but I'm open to trading back in the draft.
I have pick 14 via Chicago, and I'm willing to move back as far as the early 20s.
Yeah, I'm prob going to bet a reasonable amount on Collins lol......
I'm feeling pretty good about having 5 picks in the top 85 now. I only have like 3 positions I'm targeting in FA and 1 is pure depth, so hopefully I should be able to do what I want.
Derek Cox went for 15 stars I think.
Fantastic. I'm sure this will ruin my plans.
So, since I'm snowed in, I'll probably be sitting on here all day.
How did free agency go last year? I know I've already heard that some players went for insane amounts, but how insane are we talking?
That's right.
Awesome, thanks.
I hope we get to see it happen when the QB's are available. Should be interesting.
Okay so, I just want to be clear here on free agency.
Let's say that Ed Dickson has a bid of 8 stars at 6:50PM (totally realistic, right?). Within the final five minutes, I bid 8.5 stars and "win." Then, between 7 and 7:05, the person that was winning before the final five minutes call has a chance to say that they wish to bid again, but they don't post an actual bid. A CoCo then PM's each team and takes one bid from each, and the highest one gets the player?
The Browns are done trading unless there's an offer I can't refuse.
Browns receive:
TE Brent Celek (4 stars)
Eagles receive:
4th round pick (27 from Indy)
I'm open to making one more trade before FA begins. I have a 4th rounder up for grabs. Looking for a 3rd WR, 2nd TE, starting OG, DE/DT depth, or a 2nd CB. I'd be open to moving a 3rd rounder if the player is good enough.
4 Stars.
I know he restructured last year. I was hoping it was lower.
John Carlson is available for those looking for a TE. So are Jamarca Sanford and Andrew Sendejo for those needing a safety. Sendejo did pretty well while Harrison Smith was hurt.
What's Carlson's base salary?
It is likely that the teams had a lot of FA this year thus camp bodies right now are considered part of the top 51 contracts. I know the Steelers had some no namers who did not touch the field but because they have a decent amount of free agent guys they are considered part of the salary
Yeah I mean, I haven't gone through and done any checking since I'm not a CoCo and it's not my job, but I see a lot of people that seemingly aren't considering the rule of 51 at all. They are accounting for savings for each player they cut. Now, they may 100% be right, but it's definitely something worth looking into.
I'm reading some of these cuts.. No way some of these cut players fall under top 51 contracts for their team?
T3h is going through everything, so if there are any issues, they'll be corrected. I agree though. I see a lot of camp bodies that people are counting salary relief for that probably don't count.

Haha I was trying to eliminate the think conjugations but it wasn't happening.
