Glad I landed a vet and warrior like justin smith. He's one of my favorite players and while he's older, he's still for some years left in him at a very high level. Having Ngata and Him on the DL is awesome

Yeah you're right.  My mistake.  Either way, he did well in SD and I think he's a good fit next to Jackson.  I really just needed a body not named Craig Robertson lol.

He struggled playing that in 2011 however.

In 2011, he was playing with the Dolphins in the 4-3.

He played very well there for SD a few years back.  He's a little older than I would have liked to have gone, but I think it was a cheap and efficient way to solve Cleveland's biggest defensive hole.

Pretty pumped to have gotten Kevin Burnett.  It fills in the black hole that was Craig Robertson and allows me to move into some 4-3 looks as well.

Once again, open to some trade offers even though I said I was done (I lied).

I have a 3rd round pick on the table for a 3-4 DL, 3-4 ILB, CB, and/or S.  I'd be willing to include another 3rd round pick or even my 1st rounder if the player is good enough.

Games are won and lost in the trenches, hence my 4 biggest moves have all been for linemen:  Russell Okung, Williams Beatty, Henry Melton and Derrick Morgan.

I've been wanting to make moves in the trenches on the defensive side, but everyone that pops up on the trade market fits the 4-3 and not the 3-4.  Luckily I'm pretty strong overall in the trenches.  I just need a piece or two.

Good move for Melton.  I would have jumped all over that if he fit into my scheme.

If you don't think Monroe is worth 35 million you're probably never going to pay an LT ever.   Because that's really not that much for Monroe.

And the fact that we finally have the chance at stability at LT.  We haven't had that since JO.  Gaither looked to be the future, but continued his laziness.  Oher didn't work out.  McKinnie was always a short term solution.  We have the chance to sign a guy that has already proven that he can be a consistent presence at one of the team's black holes for many years.  He's a must keep guy.
