Zrebiec just participated in a mock draft and got us Corey Davis at 16

Which is fun because I know he's been advocating against taking a WR in the first round.  He's really come around on Davis recently - not as much Williams and Ross.

I don't mean to make light of the situation but Hernandez was imprisoned in 2013, right? That kid probably barely knows him and at her age she could forget him pretty quickly. A name as common as Hernandez won't be likely to arouse suspicion at the playground either. If the friends and family don't bring him up too often as the years go bye he might become a distant memory for his child.

But regardless, all of this senseless loss of life is sad: Odin, the two other men, and even Hernandez.

His girlfriend took their daughter to court to see him last week I believe.

kansas states scheme IMHO. Made tonnes of plays. Will be let loose as a 3-4 go get em player

I just don't see it.  Looks like a solid pass rusher but I never saw him make tons of plays or use great moves or anything like that.  Think the combine numbers are hyping him way above where he should go.

I think we're trading back and taking jordan willis.

I think hes the most underrated prospect in the draft and with the highest ceiling.

What have you seen that makes you like Willis so much?  The combine numbers are awfully impressive, but I'm not seeing anything close to that on the tape.

Maybe he didn't murder the 2 guys in the trial he was just acquitted in, but he killed odin Lloyd thinking he could be falsely convicted with his testimony...

and maybe he realized he didn't have to murder Odin Lloyd and he would be just fine today had he not done that... and he felt so stupid that he just took a nap in a noose.

Yep.  The Lloyd murder was committed so Lloyd couldn't be involved in this double murder case.

While I understand some folks not liking peppers, I don't quite get why people seem so confused as to where he plays. He looks 100% like a strong safety imo and I can't see him playing anywhere else.

And I personally think he will be a very good SS.

I think it depends on what you want out of your SS. I like a guy that can still play deep and I'm not sure I see that in him. If he's in the box a majority of the time though, I agree.

Great minds then. I won't lie, I don't have the exact time that I penciled him in. I ended up writing him in and then returning at a later time to add the picture, but I'll respectfully abide by the current time stamps and concede him. Agreed entirely about the technique portion changing my mind. I don't follow Pauline much but I'll take your word for his background.

I can confirm he wasn't in when I picked him up.  I double and triple checked because I knew I was adding him retroactively. Wasn't planning on adding anyone else but when you see a guy saying he could go 3rd round, you take a chance.

lol That you did. Were we reading the same report about his number of his visits? Truth be told, I wasn't wowed by the tape, but I read that he's apparently light years ahead technique wise than he was during the season. Figured I'd give him a shot.

Exactly why I did it lol. Liked a couple things I saw on tape, but wouldn't have considered him had it not been mentioned how much technique work he's been doing. Figured it's worth a shot. I respect Tony Pauline a lot, although I think he inflates values sometimes.

i mean if shanahan is confident that he can stop hyde from bouncing runs to the outside every snap then i dont think there's any way they get rid of him tbh - the reports of him being on the hot seat are ridiculous given the fact that shanahan hasn't even worked with him yet.. the injuries might be a problem but he also has star quality - it would seem stupid for such a talent poor team to try and fill a hole that's mostly full already

free agency next year is a compelling argument i suppose but i just think there's too much value at other positions of need for them to pass up - especially with the running back talent in next year's draft at the top

It's a completely new regime though.  GM and HC could want their own guys.  For what it's worth, I doubt they go Fournette, but it wouldn't shock me either.  Hyde certainly wouldn't stop me if Fournette is my guy.

  10. Myles Garrett changes his mind and decides to attend the draft.  Once picked first overall, he comes out on the stage to greet Roger Goodell.  After an intricate handshake that Goodell completely bombs, Garrett chest bumps Goodell and sends him plummeting through the stage.  The crowd roars.  Goodell awakes from his stupor moments later to say that the Ravens are on the clock at #2 overall.

i just cant see that - they have carlos hyde already there who has been phenomenal in spurts and they have so many needs at other positions that i cant see them passing over adams, thomas, allen, hooker for a running back even if it is fournette - i think the bears could be a darkhorse if they fall in love with him despite having jordan howard because it would help out mike glennon but i dont think fournette legitimately has a chance to go before jax unless a team trades up to get ahead of jax like the panthers or jets

Rumor is that they don't view Hyde as a long term piece though.  Injured too often.

  12. That will pretty much complete my defense and I hit everything I wanted to do there and in this game this year.

My number one priority was to upgrade the CB position and I was able to add a new top 3 with Maxwell, Conley, and now House.  I wanted to move Randall back to his more natural S the whole time, and he'll play the Micah Hyde role for me.

One of my big keys was finding versatile players and finding depth to allow players to be more versatile.  My depth chart is starting to reflect it, but Tyus Bowser will likely play all 4 of my LB spots at some point and will slot in on the inside in the base defense.  With me being able to move Randall back to S, that allows Morgan Burnett to also play the hybrid ILB role that he excelled in late last season.
