If they do indeed cut Boldin, we'll likely stick with our current group plus a potential draft pick up through the offseason into training camp and the first couple of preseason games. If they determine that Doss, Streeter, Thompson, etc. aren't ready or just aren't that good, then they'll make a move. It doesn't make sense to panic and sign some veteran now when they may not even be needed. One of these young guys may turn out to be that superstar #1 we've been searching for. One of these young guys may also be the worst receiver to ever play the game. It's a chance that has to be taken, and if the experiment fails, it will be corrected in some way.
