  1. I bid 7438348 stars.
  2. PM me your offers. I'm looking to pick up 3 picks.
  3. I seriously didn't plan on making this many trades, but oh well. I'm open to one more, though. I'm willing to trade one of my 3rd rounders for a group of late round picks for depth.
  4. Sheard would have been an extra body with my new DE
  5. Tons of money invested.
  6. Be scared of the Browns.
  7. Confirmed.
  8. Browns receive: 1st round pick 2 Rams receive: 1st round pick 13 1st round pick 24
  9. I'd bet that Bell's bid won't be matched.
  10. It's actually pretty cap friendly. It's basically a 3 year contract with manageable dead money if we want to cut him in year 4 or 5. His cap hit is pretty much just above $6M each year.
  11. Still shopping Jabaal Sheard, and as crazy as it sounds, I'd shop Joe Thomas as well.
  12. Yeah I mean, he's still a terrific player. He's not worth his contract, but he still has a heavy impact on this team. As you said, it's still noticeable when he's not in there. It's all in the risk evaluation. If the FO sits down with Ngata and determines that he wants to and can play for another 4 years, an extension makes sense. Based on what we know though, I think it's too risky to kick money into the future with guys like Torrey and Jimmy coming up for contracts.
  13. Yeah I don't see it, but beyond the 3 obvious ones, he's the only one that saves more than $1M if you cut him. It doesn't make any sense to get rid of him considering we have him under contract for pretty cheap. In my opinion, those are the only 4 that are going to be constantly recommended to be cut for monetary reasons. 3 make sense, 1 doesn't.
  14. I feel bad for you lol. In all seriousness, everyone should make it a priority to get everything updated before QB free agency starts. Some people still don't have depth charts up.
  15. Yeah McClain is the key to savings via cut. Leach and Koch make sense as well, but it's possible they stay. The only other guy that would constitute enough savings to cut now is Canty, but you aren't going to find much better for the $1.3M you save, so you might as well keep him. This Suggs extension puts things in motion.
  16. Injuries keep racking up and he's hinted at retirement a few times. I'm not sure we can push more money to the future on a guy like that.
  17. I've also heard they're considering it. In the same breath, it was stated they were also considering working out an extension with Ngata to clear some more cap room. I wouldn't do it personally, but it will be interesting to see over the next few weeks.
  18. Yep. It's obvious that the hope is that they get 3 years out of him, and evaluate on a year to year basis for the last 2.
  19. Whatever you guys decide. It's definitely been frustrating to try and work deals only to hear that that player has been traded 2 days ago, but the depth chart/SoF don't reflect that. It's especially important once FA comes around so it's known whether someone can afford a player or not.
  20. That 2 minutes is including a snack break in between. Working deals creates hunger.
  21. And even if he wasn't the difference in us making the playoffs or not, he definitely made a difference in not getting Joe killed. We had to protect that investment. It didn't pay off completely since we didn't win the Super Bowl, but Monroe paid his due in ways that don't show up on the stat card or on the record. Protect my QB. For a 5th round pick (if we lose him), I'd say it was more than worth it.
  22. That as well. It literally takes like 2 minutes after each deal to get both done.
  23. Yeah he has one that I traded to him. The SoF just isn't updated. Goes to show how important regular updates of the SoF are. Get them done, people!
  24. Completely cap friendly. If he's done toward the end of the contract, we can cut him with little dead money.
  25. 4 years, $30M is a little more than I thought it would be, but I'm still happy it got done. Opens up a good amount of room this year.
