Yeah I mean, he's still a terrific player. He's not worth his contract, but he still has a heavy impact on this team. As you said, it's still noticeable when he's not in there. It's all in the risk evaluation. If the FO sits down with Ngata and determines that he wants to and can play for another 4 years, an extension makes sense. Based on what we know though, I think it's too risky to kick money into the future with guys like Torrey and Jimmy coming up for contracts.
