There is a link on here about PCL injuries about 15 posts down. Read that article if you are worried. He basically just needs some time to rest and the Ravens, including Harbaugh are not revealing anything. They are being conservative and not rushing him back, because why the heck would you? Why risk the guy you need most in meaningless pre season hack fests? They are being smart, letting him heal fully, and hopefully he will be ready to go in week 1. I don't think he will need much time to start burning by defenders once he is healthy.

It's hard to tell what they need, because the nagging injuries are affecting half of the guys they are talking about. I would be very interested in them picking up a corner off the waiver wire once training camp ends and some notable guys come available. Webb is just not durable enough for us to count on to start. With Lewis, Arrington, Melvin and another guy or two, we should be at least better than last year. They probably need an outside rushing LB. They definitely do not have a return guy showing up. I do not like any of the guys they have put out there including Campanaro. He will be toast in the first week if he is running back kicks with his delicate health.

How undisciplined is Suggs? It is freaking ridiculous. I looked at his penalties from last year. He had 8 offside or neutral zone infractions. There was only one personal foul listed, but I could swear he gets one of those about once every couple weeks too. He has always been a cheap shot artist and trash talker. Hitting guys late, helmet to helmet hits and stupid penalties are just hurting your team Sizzle. There is no class in intentionally injuring someone, especially a guy who has had injury issues and in a preseason game that means nothing.

I hope they can get something in return for Arthur Jones via a trade. Anything would be great, even a developmental guy. Tough to fathom being a 2nd round pick, and then you can't even stand out among the third teamers in a pre-season game during garbage time. He just must not fit our system well, or he was not very good and they totally missed on their evaluation of him. I know it happens. Painful.

He looks like he came to mini camp a fat hippopotamus. That is inexcusable when you are a vet and making the kind of bank he is. I have always thought Suggs was undisciplined and over hyped, and the fact that he continues to get fat and out of shape every off season proves that. His playing time is going to drop significantly this year if he looks like that in preseason because he will be too slow.

someone else posted "X factor". that is definitely more original than "mad max" which is completely played out and doesn't really seem to fit his personality anyway. X factor ties into the name, and football and how he may be able to impact a game. but who knows at this point.

I see Asa Jackson getting cut or traded. He has not been able to stay healthy, and had off field issues. With the young guys coming up including Melvin, or possibly picking some other guy as FA cuts are made, I cannot see him finding a roster spot despite how bad our depth was last year.

Ozzie continues to try to outsmart himself and pick players where we don't need them. This annoys me every year. We have Ngata, B Williams, Canty, Kapron Lewis, and others and yet we draft another DT so one of them sits on the bench. To me, that's wasting a pick at a position you can wait on, while the position of need is weak and vulnerable. Thumbs down on round 2.
