We need Sizzle or Doom to put a hit on Big Ben just like Bart Scott did! Priceless
P L E A S E- anybody!
Just an FYI: Green Bay is called Titletown for a reason. They have way MORE Championships than Pittsburgh. They hate when you bring that up (I use it often after Pittsburgh rams their 6 rings down your throat- after you say something against their team).
I know I am in the minority here in Bmore but I don't hate the Steelers. I wish we WERE the Steelers(6 Superbowl win, seriously)? Plus we have had some relative success against them recently, at home and on the road. For some odd reason Joe plays some of his best ball against this team. Go figure. Now the Bengals drive me freakin nuts. For Godsake Bengals fans..WIN SOMETHING and Redskins fans who still think they are back in the 1980's when there team actually WAS good.
I don't believe Joe has beaten the Steelers too often with a HEALTHY Roethlisberger. If your going to state that Joe either won or loss, then please note that Flacco lost big playoff games against Pittsburgh in his early years....and one was one of his biggest boneheaded plays that I will NEVER forget. I will only bring it up if asked.
I know we all have varying opinions on what the Ravens' problems are and what it would take to fix them. Some think things are improving, others not so much. Some blame Harbaugh, some Flacco, some Mornhinweg, some Ozzie.
But the one thing we can all agree on is that we want the Ravens to beat Pittsburgh and Cincinnati and make a playoff run.
So, how about everyone post a big "Go Ravens! in solidarity, and then we can resume arguing after the game. Deal?
GO RAVENS!!!!Go Ravens! Ball so Hard! Let's Hunt!
Good Caw, Worm !
Go Ravens! Ball so Hard! Let's Hunt!
Pittsburgh would be foolish not to. As we WERE up 21-0, and almost blew it (fancy that).....Lets roll those red and green dice and hope we are on the victors side- and NOT taken to the woodshed.
Go Ravens- and to all, have a great and safe Holiday season whether you believe in it or not :)
Watching our team on Sundays has been frustrating- to say the least. What will Christmas Day be like ? A Ravens victory- or do we start filling our bags with coal to send to Owings Mills ?
Santa is just going to have to deal with milk of magnesia (MOM) with his cookies for this year.
Lets see where 'THAT' goes, along with Joe and his technicolorless dreamcoat offense go with the last 2 games.......
Please, lets see Joes stats on the road this year, and since the Super Bowl. Someone has them..........
Lets see where 'THAT' goes, along with Joe and his technicolorless dreamcoat offense go with the last 2 games.......
Screw the playoff scenarios. JUST WIN THE GAMES
THANK YOU, Metal !
Marty is uninspiring and clueless when it comes to game management and calls based on the situation in a game. Perhaps it is Harbaugh's responsibility but both proved lax in that yesterday. I am being kind with the word 'lax' actually. Joe after 9 yrs and a SB victory still seems to be terrible at recognition and vision of the field and decision making. If he is on, he is great but this season he is hardly on.
Its Harbaughs job as the team leader to be on the same page, and OK or deny what the situation calls for. There were many times yesterday when it was an all out epic-fail- considering the victory. Yes- when Joe is on- and he has not been on, on the road for some time.
Funny: = keep calm and trust ozzie- after YESTERDAY? Unless the Ravens are playing the dumb fox all year long re the same old issues and bullpoo- leading up to these 2 games, these 2 road games are THE scenario. We should not have even been in this position to begin with.
I am not trusting anyone....just show us(the Raven fans that are NOT gullable)!
If we do NOT come out of these 2 games without looking any better / well off- heads should roll.
Seems to me everyone is forgetting we have to win at the Bungles place or the Pittsburg game doesn't matter.
Its in the back of our minds Sami.....dump and vent first, then Pittsburgh, then Cinncy. BOTH of these are road games- where the 120 million dollar man has issues (more than usual)
The Ravens should have left the door open and just handed Philly the game. And NO- I'm not to just sit here living in la-la land like a good handful of you 'delusional' Raven fans-. You know who you are.
That was one of the worst offensive play calling- or audible calling (either way-both are probably culpable) games I have seen- especially, given the way the game was going and, or how we are fighting a playoff spot.
Good luck in Pittsburgh- sarcastic, or not.
Make this one 'count'!....and progress to the next!
Go Ravens!
You’ve heard John Harbaugh say it through the years: “Iron sharpens iron.”
I'm so tired of that. Actually, any metal / material SLIGHTLY harder than iron will sharpen it......Harder than iron- I'm not seeing it this year.
Perhaps we should go with, "if any part of the fish stinks- the entire fish stinks"; or, "just cut the head of the snake off (I love reptiles- I better watch myself)". I guess whatever that 'head' is- we all have our definitions ( either player or front office). Then again, "an iron fish hook taken out of a fish with bad breath......:)
Regardless if we win or lose, there is a lot more than football (beat Pittsburgh!).
Have a great and safe Holiday!
-CQ1Some people will stick their head in the sand and give up. Spread nasty comments about a team who never gives up like they do. I personally am not going to stick my head in the sand. I'm going to root for this team regardless of outcome. Go Ravens!
I am sorry to hear that you enjoy your delusional dose of mediocrity.
That is sad.

If Darren Sproles plays at 80%, this secondary is in deep trouble.
You made a pun, Crusader :) "DEEP" trouble
Perhaps the running issue all year is due to a questionable line- for many reasons, that cannot run block- other than a healthy Yanda (others may run block well; I do not know the pros and cons of each lineman) I am almost certain that we have no blocking tight ends- unless Waller (when in) is capable.
I love it. Minkster trying to sell us on the teams confidence in the secondary without the Jimmy. What is this, the twilight zone. Next, they'll be trying to sell us a bridge.
Its been the Twilight zone all year......Lets hope it untwilights !
'CONFIDENT', from any upper-crust also means to be delusionally accepted from the lower-crusts perspective
Seems to me Joe Cool was moving like a glacier in the last 5 minutes.
Yes- AGAIN :)
To beat the best, you have to play near perfect, etc., We were far from it.
The O still looks vanilla to me......Still not sure why we pass so much...is our O-line that bad (depending on matchups) Again, Joe did NOT seem to be hurrying up too much when we needed to scores / against the clock with @ 3 minutes left. What up with that still ???
Nice shout out Rabid fan :)
Dear Santa,
An early Christmas wish:
I wish that the Ravens not only come out with a much needed victory at New England, but more importantly we give them an a$$ whooping that they have not seen along time.
In return I promise to be a good little boy- of 53 :)
There's only one way to beat the pats at home: to play as bravely and aggressively as possible. There's no "cautious" way about it. You have to putt all your chips on the zero: extreme risk, extreme reward. You won't beat them unless you're willing to take the risk of getting badly beaten.
We won't have to "play to win the game" - we'll have to play to annihilate them, to inflict as much damage as possible. We'll have to jump on the brake pedal and never step off it until the game's over - totally regerdless of how the game is standing.
Yes- play to win, and NOT to not lose !

Given the underachieving this year- on many accounts, I wont be surprised if were taken to the Steeler woodshed. With a HEALTHY Roethlisberger, and the way we ended the last time we played (at home) I don't have a cozy feling....in fact, I sense a silent-night in Bmore.
Contrary, I am a devout Ravens fan and will root them on till the end- however, I do my best not to set myself up for a crushing disappointment. In CQ1's way of thinking- if we DO win- I'll be twice as elated as most of you.
Lets hope it is not a silent night in Bmore.
Please pick it up in Pittsburgh! GO RAVENS !
