  1. I think it has more to do with them being young guys who probably haven't adopted proper diet and training habits. In Camp's case his body is probably still developing which contributes to nagging little injuries like he's had.

    Both will be fine.

Exactly, I've stated it before but these guys do nothing but beat their bodies up everyday for a living. You HAVE to take care of it the correct way.

  2. do you think its possible harbs might be thinking he's overworked his guys too much..?

i personaly don't care about the redskins game..rest as many injured/ not 100% starters as possible.

even Yanda says he's never seen them so banged up at this point in preseason and this is his 9th year

Not if its happening to a couple guys and not everyone. I mean Harbaugh said the conditioning and practice tradition has stayed the same, I think it's just a matter of young guys not taking correct care of their bodies. As for the older guys, bones don't stay young forever. Drink milk.

  3. As an Eagles fan that has watched the game 3 times now and know personally a number of media members that were at the joint practices, here is my opinion of the game:

    1. The Suggs hit was borderline but legal.

    2. The refs ruined this game. The number of flags thrown was stupid and ruined the game.

    3. For those that are saying that Kelly game planned you are sorely mistaken. That was Kelly vanilla. As for the no-huddle offense, that's what Kelly does. For the Eagles top operate out of the huddle is akin to the Ravens operating out of the no-huddle.

    4. The Ravens can't handle an up-tempo offense. They over-pursue and part of the up-tempo is misdirection and spreading the field. While Ravens D is strong, it can't compete with fast team when it can't play a smash-mouth styled defense.

    5. The Ravens as a whole looked frustrated from the very start of the game. The Eagles tempo forced the Ravens to practice this week at a much higher tempo than they were used and they players didn't want to be in Philly for that reason. Then on top of that the general consensus of the people that I talked to that watched the joint practices, the Eagles skilled players outplayed and out practiced the Ravens players. The 11/11's and 7/7's the Eagles O had no issue moving the ball at will against the Ravens during practices and that frustration clearly was on the field during the game.

    6. The Eagles are loaded on offense and they play to their identity. One of the philosophies of Kelly is that there are no off plays. There are no plays where we play like this and then for others we play like this. It's just the same thing every play and the players that didn't buy in were shipped out. The Eagles identity is that they will out hustle everybody on offense and the defense is built on the front 7, of which their top 3 MLB's weren't playing. Their secondary is suspect because there are 3/4 new starters with one of them being a rook. The fact that the Ravens were even able to run the ball is a good sign for your backup OLmen because the Eagles have one of the top 3 front 7's in all of football.

    7. The Ravens D looked exhausted from the start. As for the comments about vanilla defense is a joke. They played against these same players for 3 days straight and they didn't execute correctly.

That's it really. It was a decent game but refs ruined it with the flags. Without the flags we are looking at a 27-17 score, not a 40-17 score (refs or not, the Ravens weren't winning that game).

on a scale from 1-10, how bad did you want to come here and say this ?

  4. Lol i don't get all the hate for Arthur brown. You guys confuse me. You see with your own eyes he plays decent, then someone tells you he played bad in practice and shows a video of him getting juked by one of the more shiftier guys in the league and he's a bust. Until we hear a coach say something bad, I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt. Btw I don't think one person on our LB corps could stay with Sproles or Barner

  5. I have to think we'll give one of the young guys a chance. If no one can seize the job I think we pickup someone after cuts. Maybe a young guy we wanted undrafted that got cut but I just don't see Pollard coming back, although many fans would welcome him, and I don't think we want to get older with Landry. My question is what do we do in FA with Hill ?

  6. I agree with everyone saying if he can't stay healthy he won't play, but I just can't see the Ravens letting him go. If he is healthy though, I also think we'll keep seven with Smith Sr, Aiken, Perriman, Brown, Butler, Camp, and Waller. I think Carter will clear waivers.

  7. We sure are attacking the CB position this off season.

    1.Jimmy-All-Pro Caliber

    2. Webb- Good

    3. Kyle-Very good Slot CB

    4. Melvin- Good outside CB, still needs experience

    5. Vaughn- Average

    6. Asa- Average to decent

    7. Walker-Unknown, probably sucks this year

We have good CB depth already. Not sure about signing another, who are we gonna cut if we sign Brown? Asa? He's a potential return man.

If we were to sign Brown, I may stand alone with this but I think Vaughn is the odd man out. I feel like Asa is a talented young guy that has potential at CB and as a RS.

  8. It's only OTAs and there's already talk of chemistry between Flacco and Perriman. That's funny. Flacco & Mason - chemistry. Flacco & Heap or Pitta - chemistry. Steve Smith comes in - instant chemistry. Marlon Brown and Campanaro are rookies - chemistry. Torrey Smith here for 4 years - no chemistry.

    Perriman will do just fine.

Pretty odd now that you mention it. What could it have been ?

  9. I hope Perriman turns out to be a stud. I feel like Torrey reached his full potential during his time here, and I feel like Perriman, with a lot of coaching up and dedication, could become a star. I don't really think him and Torrey are similar other than speed maybe. One main thing I like about Perriman is his ability to high-point the football. This was something Torrey rarely if ever did and I'm honestly just very excited to this this offense with a pass minded OC. And just to mention I think he could have ran a faster 40 time. It just looked so effortless to me.

  10. not sure if this fits here but I was just reading that Jim H may not be back in SF next year. do you guys think he would consider becoming baltimore's OC if Gary gets hired elsewhere ? I'm not really sure if he has play calling experience but he used to play QB and be a QB coach and that had to count for something right ? just a curious question.
