Personally I'm pulling for Ramsey, Bosa, or Buckner.
Â
How is putting him in the middle of our defense and letting him roam wasting his talents? We would be wasting his talents if we did anything else with him.Â
Edit: Except maybe put him at RB

It would hurt if Dallas took Jack. I'm just so sold on Jack I don't want anyone else.Â
What is it about Jack that you don't see? Is it because he doesn't make a lot of those eye popping hits? After resigning Wright I doubt we will be taking a CB in the first. But back to Jack, the dude is uber talented and a stud of a player (regardless of position), and I'll take him over Orr and a lot of other MLBs in the game, but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Dallas took  Jack ahead of us. I love Ramsey, I just feel like Jack helps the defense more.Â

With Perriman I was just saying that we've been through the process of having a high draft pick not perform immediately. The keyword with Smith  was could. Nobody really knows how long his recovery process will be. Honestly, I haven't studied him to comment enough, but I've seen reports that says he's Kuechly caliber. If so, I can't speak for anyone else but I'd be willing to wait a year for a player like that. IMO, MLB will be a need sooner than later. Â

Well it wouldn't totally be out of the picture, we just did it with Perriman. The question is does the FO think he can get back to his  pre injury form when he's fully healthy. I can't even start to imagine what's going on in the war room these days, but the way I see it, in a couple years he'll be well worth a second rounder.Â

I'm just being extremely optimistic before the combine. I'm hoping something happens between now and the draft and slips a bit, because a guy his size with his athleticism is insane. The play where he chased down the RB in open field is crazy.Â
Would there be a possibility of us drafting Noah Spence and trading up for Andrew Billings if he slips out of the first.Â
smh
You know, that was actually quite reassuring to hear that. I never really looked at it from that perspective. I guess that's something we can hang our hats on during the worst season we've endured in our 20 years. Thanks for that.
No matter what happens, let's enjoy together the misery of NE's past two weeks
was thinks the same exact thing. good point sir
I'm curious to see how Osemele plays at LT today. If he does well, and they keep him there for the rest of the season, and he still plays well, I've got to think Monroe is gone and Kelechi is a priority in the offseason.
* the ability to challenge a penalty
Wasn't that like a real idea ?
So glad to see Brent get in and have this type of impact.
NFL decided they owed us.
Brilliant, that's gotta be it.
Posted something similar on another thread...
If SSS returns, I think they sign a cheap FA veteran and likely add a mid-round WR (3rd or 4th round my guess, maybe as high as 2nd). There's no way they give up on Perriman after this season in my eyes, so I don't think a first round WR is in the cards. If SSS actually does retire, I think they'll invest a bit more into a veteran FA.
If that happens, I'd expect first round pick to be either a pass rusher or a secondary player.
In my opinion, FS and CB are really the only two positions where you can't really argue we are struggling due to injuries. We've been largely held at CB this season and we just don't have a ton of talent at FS that I see. If they consider strongly moving Webb to FS, than a corner is the right approach. If not, I think FS is a high priority.
Some of this may be able to be addressed in FA though, so hard to tell at this point. It feels to me though like they will attempt to chalk up struggles at WR and pass rush to potential injuries, though I'm sure they know they need upgrade both anyway. More talent at CB and safety to me is obvious and I can't see how they don't address it.
I agree. I was full on VH3 in the first, but I'm really starting to like the Ramsey guy, that and I'm just completely over K Lewis. Sad to say this already, but I'm excited for next season.
Lol don't quite think it's time to start over. Honestly, I feel we are just missing a few pieces. I'm praying SSS comes back next year, even if he doesn't, I don't see us taking a reciever high next year. I feel we use another late round pick on a guy with high potential and a low floor. I think we do the opposite of what we did this year as far as offensive and defensive players, with a little more defensive players. But no matter how everything unfolds after the offseason and the draft we WILL be back in contention for another Lombardi next year.
I'm surprised you guys are still getting mad. This season has been over and there's no way you lose most of your best players and play better.
marlon dropped what.. 2 passes all year? His problem has never been his hands. He actually has pretty dependable hands for e most part, his problem is that he sucks horribly everywhere else, no speed, no burst, no quickness, no route ability, no awareness, god awful body control, God awful ball tracking, and is incredibly bad at the things a 6'5" wr should be good at lol
I agree with everything you've said except Marlons hands being dependable. I don't know the stats but, if he has only dropped 2 passes all year, has he caught one yet after those 2 drops ?
I worry butler may be even worse than Marlon. Now it's no secret that I thought VERY little of marlon brown and while everyone was predicting his breakout, I was predicting a season where people finally realized he sucks... But I saw even less from butler in the preseason than I saw from brown, and I believe brown only played one game! Butler looked pretty horrible.
Butler's hands are a lot better than Marlon's. I'm not expecting Butler to take anything by storm, especially will Ross taking advantage of his opportunities, but I do expect to see Butler making the catches Marlon has been dropping all season if given the opportunity.
Maryland & JoeyFlex I now understand what you guys are saying. I was stuck in a what do we need now type of mindset. I do agree that Monroe has underperformed, since getting his contract. The main reason I chose VH3 over anyone else, first reason is I want more skilled players at skilled positions, and also because I don't know those guys, Stanley and Tunsil. I have a few friends that attend Ole Miss, so I hear about their Trio often but I never actually got around to watching offensive lineman as of yet. Im just curious as who you guys would draft. If you guys don't mind, I would love for you guys to play the game and post results. Mainly so I can do some research.
we may like hargreaves on these boards, i like him as well, but if we are 2nd overall i promise you ozzie isnt taking him, at 2nd overall we are almost as likely to take jared goff. hargreaves is a stud and we all know it but ozzie isnt passing up either of the top OTs, bosa, or nkemdiche for hargreaves, i dont think he passes up ramsey for hargreaves either, and i personally think any of those players would be the right move over hargreaves.
Unless we try to trade Monroe, I just can't see us going OT in the first. I can't imagine having a OT you've paid a lot of money to sitting on the bench, but I also couldn't imagine having a stud OT you've drafted on the bench. As far as Bosa, he went number one in my draft, and Ramsey, I'm also a huge fan of his, it was just too hard to take a FS 2nd. Keep in mind, I'm no draft guru or a football one at that, I just voice my opinions sometimes. Take anything I say with a grain of salt, because honestly I learn a lot from you guys.
honestly... the most unrealistic thing there is that we take hargreaves at 2nd overall..
Hard to choose him over Stanley and Bosa, but I was content with Monroe atleast until next year, and as far as Bosa and everyone else, I'm a huge fan of Hargreaves, and I want playmakers in the secondary asap. Bias maybe
Has anyone started playing the draft games yet. I just had the most unrealistic one yet lol. We were picking 2nd. I only did 4 rds.
Rd.1: Hargreaves
Rd. 2: Myles Jack
Rd. 3: Travin Dural
Rd. 4: Eric Murray
Rd. 4 : Carl Nassib
why hasn't he called out Joe yet?
Lol you know why. He's our 120 mil QB.
I hope he's always been like that behind closed doors and was just lying in public because this defense has been an embarrassment to Ravens defenses, and this offense can't finish drives. Like seriously how many times are you gonna fail to finish drives.
Yea at the beginning of the game, I was wondering the same thing. Harbaugh didn't seem to cut Wright any slack for him being a newcomer only here for four days. He said being here 4 days doesn't matter, he should always have his eyes where they're supposed to be.
