You seem to be the only one who cares enough to continually post about this. Everyone has a right to their own opinion but in the western world alcohol and marijuana are not considered to be the same taboo that they once were. The difference can be what actions you take while under the influence. The guy that falls off of a balcony or drives a car clearly has bad decision making skills. That's the difference. If it's enough to bother Ozzie then he will make that decision.

We couldnt have asked for a better day now that PHI has moved to #2 it is almost a certainty at least 2 QB's will be taken ahead of us. This may put pressure on other QB needy teams to desperately jump ahead of SF to reach for another QB? SD decides it cant pass on Tunsil and we land either Ramsey or Jack. I can dream can't I?

Buckner is one of the only top guys the Ravens never brought in for a pre-draft interview...may be smoke and mirrors, but they really havn't shown much interest in him. I am kinda surprised that Hargreaves is ranked #18 in the PFF draft board, and #12 on their Ravens board. They also have William Jackson III rated above him on both boards. Most mock drafts i've seen have Jackson going mid to later 1st...anyone know why the jump here? The Ravens have been really good at finding quality lineman in the later rounds of the draft. Same goes for rotational pass rushers. I think they would prefer to take a game changer like Ramsey or Jack if available. Tunsil has missed games every season in college due to injury. If Ramsey and Jack are gone by 6 maybe they try to trade down a few spots, pick up another second or third and take Stanley or Hargraves.

I guess I am in the minority when I say that I like the Terps newest uniforms. But then again I have always liked our flag and all of the MD flag pride that has swept MD the past couple of years. I do a lot of traveling and you dont see that everywhere. Some states have tried to jump on but none have a flag as recognizable as we do. MD pride!

We need a playmaker in the worse way. Who do we have on the current roster that coaches have to game plan for? Who are opposing teams afraid of? If the Ravens trade out of #6 we may be an 8-8 team for years to come.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned how beneficial playing 13 games on Sunday at 1 will be. I feel like this team will need time and consistency to gel together. We all enjoy watching in prime time but I would bet the players would rather play the same day and same time as much as possible so they can get into a routine. It also makes it obvious that we will mostly be staying in the eastern time zone which is another huge plus.

I think you mat have overlooked the work in bold below. It happens. There is not legitimate chance the Ravens can get the top tackle in the draft or an elite defender. At least two of the following will be on the board when the Ravens are on the clock:

Ok, so I don't follow college football so could the board please enlighten me as to who is actually deserving of our #6? All the I keep hearing about Bosa is that he has a high motor. Does he also possess run stuffing and coverage skills like Suggs or he he a one trick pony? Can he play 3 downs? I also hear that Buckner is a faster version of Ngata. Is he really that much of a force? A one man wrecking crew? Tunsil seems to be a lock as a starter. Is he ready? Sounds like Jack has not played that much and missed last season. Is he more potential than substance? Ramsey is all people talk about but I've read that Hargraves is a better CB if we want to go that direction. Hargraves apparently couldn't handle elite receivers. That's mostly what the NFL has so is this an issue?

ALL teams have draft busts, The Ravens stand by their high draft picks and are patient enough to give them time to develop. Jimmy Smith anyone? ALL teams lose star players either to old age or free agency, The Ravens navigate it so well that it often only takes 2 years to see many of those players fail at their new teams. Pretty impressive talent evaluation. ALL teams overpay a few players that don't completely work out for them, The Ravens have so much success retaining impact players that stay healthy and viable that it completely overshadows the few that didn't.

What a morning Ravens nation! Rams jump to number 1 to most likely pick a new QB to start their LA team fresh. Browns should still take a QB as well and even if they don't someone will probably get nervous and trade in front of or with us to grab the other one. Maybe Tunsil actually drops to us? I hear the sound of draft boards being shuffled all over the country and it's looking good for us!

I have been skeptical of Pitta ever playing again ever since I watched him go down without contact. Wouldn't it be something if we got back our boy in full form!

Choosing Pitta over any of our current TE's scares me even more than using the #6 pick on Bosa. I'm calling it premature to call Elam a bust, especially not the biggest bust of franchise history. He was playing out of his natural position for the start of his NFL career and was injured last year. If the Ravens set up the roster in such a way to put him in position to excel he may do just that.

My how times have changed. With our current TE roster I would have Pitta on par with Waller in terms of importance to our team. Waller has potential. Pitta has liabilities. The way our luck has gone since the SB win, I would be apprehensive about cutting anyone in order to keep Pitta.

You've been going to the wrong SB parties if you think the draft if more fun. Or I have been going to the wrong draft parties, actually I dont know anyone who has a draft party. Maybe you can send me a shout out! Either way I am glad someone enjoys the draft. I am not a big college fan so that probably has something to do with it also.

The issue isn't if the fan base would approve of drafting an LT at #6. It is whether Stanley is worthy of that pick. It's also worth noting that most fans don't really care about the draft. You have to really have nothing better to do that day so sit through it. The typical start of the season has most fans getting to know the new players on our team. 2 years ago I was at M&T for the opening game sitting in a 500 section and people all around me asking each other who is number such and such. Last year I was lucky enough to be at the bengals opener sitting 12 rows back from the Ravens sideline and again heard people without a clue as to who we drafted or picked up in the offseason. As much as the media and NFL want it to be a 365 day news cycle most people are out actually enjoying their summer. Heck, most of us that use these forums are living out of state or even out of country and use it as a way to stay connected. When you live in MD purple is everywhere and you just discuss these things with your neighbors, friends and colleagues. So yeah, if we draft a non playmaker there will be grumbling but this is Baltimore so that is normal.

At this point I would be disappointed if our 6th pick went to anyone not named Tunsil, Buckner, jack, Ramsey or Elliot. Picking Stanley or Bosa will be a letdown by seasons end and Hargraves would be great but not at 6. Please just no Bosa. He scares the crap out of me.

What a load of crap from Hardy. I have lived in the south for over a decade and almost all violent crime in our area has always been domestic violence. I've even joked that it is the safest place in the world as long as you keep your you know what in your pants. In fact, the local women's shelter is at the top of my list of charities to donate to every year because of the sheer number of women looking for an escape. Bible Belt indeed.

Ravens offered 8.5 mil a year. Raiders gave him 12mil a year. That's around 3.5 million a year more or 42% more Fact is the Raiders gave him stupid money

Maybe I'm being optimistic but I still feel like one way or another 2 QB's will be taken ahead of us. Cleveland has drafted a lot of good defense over the years and it hasn't mattered because they have no QB. I never believed for a minute the Cowboys would spend a top 5 pick on a RB. Whenever Romo goes down the team goes with him. I see them taking a QB as insurance and because even though it rarely happens anymore, having a veteran to mentor your rookie QB is still a good strategy. It is also very reasonable to think a team could trade up to grab one if one of the teams above choose not to draft a QB this year. fingers crossed

My first thought as well. More high hanging kicks that will cause head popping hits for the poor souls that dont fair catch it. Are the people running the NFL really this short sighted?
