  1. I may be alone here but I could care less about the media and their "feelings" getting hurt. I watch football for the football. I'm sure all the fantasy players out there want to know as much information as they can get. Personally I dont really care. I enjoy reading articles but in those situations where the team is holding back I feel they should do whats best for the team and not the fans. The guys on 107the fan are the worst concerning this. That Coleman dude acts like it's a privilege for them to talk to him. Give me a break. So self entitled. Marshawn Lynch just proved the media doesnt matter when he signed his new 10mil a year contract
  2. Don't worry about them. They are Redskin fans, that is punishment enough. They are probably just excited to see a story about themselves on the national circuit. Redskins...SMH
  3. Unfortunatly that's more fantasy than reality. We are talking about a late first round pick with great speed but questionable route running and hands. He needed the entire offseason to "try" to get up to speed for week 1. OTA's, camps, preseason games, every last practice to learn the playbook and get comfortable with Joe. I have high hopes for Perriman but know better than to think he will run out on the field in Denver and tear it up. Also, if any team in the league prepares for the Ravens deep ball I think it would be Denver sooo.....
  4. I now remember why the KO vs Yanda contract is a no brainer. KO is always playing hurt and when Yanda plays hurt we dont even hear about it. KO needs to man up and do his job
  5. I really like Marlon and Aiken but what has changed from last year with our recievers that makes you think any of them could carry the #2 load and replace Torrey's speed? Obviously the FO doesnt agree or they wouldnt have used their first round pick on a reciever to take the #2 spot and hopefully grow into the #1 after SSS retires. I like your confidence in our guys but Perriman NEEDS this practice otherwise his growth may be stunted this year.
  6. I can honestly say there is not a single QB in the NFL that I would rather have than Joe Flacco. Well, to be honest maybe Aaron Rogers but that is the only one. Joe is better or has a brighter future than all of the rest.
  7. That Harvard study was done by students. Not professors. You have to keep in mind that a typical Ivy League student has very little life experience as they have been academically focused their entire lives. Sheltered would be an understatement and therefor they have no real concept of real life variables. Just the fact that we have January Joe on our team is enough to expose how flawed any analytical study truly is. Throw in a few 4th and 29 Ray Rice runs and they may be able to understand why we all love sports so much. The games are won on the field and not in a library. Otherwise why would anyone watch. Someone needs to explain to them what any given Sunday means. Go Ravens
  8. I am excited for that first long bomb to Perriman where he burns the secondary and makes everybody jump to their feet. Will he start, will he drop a few, I don't know but I know he will be exciting to watch as he develops into the player we all know he can be.
  9. The dynamic duo will fill the void left on game day but I worry more about the locker room presence that we lost. More importantly how that will affect the play and spirit of Suggs. He has been mopeing all off season because he lost one of his best friends. I think the trade was a real gut punch to Suggs that he may never recover from on or off the field. He has not been his usual self on camera and even showed up at workouts out of shape. I can't believe I am saying this but he may have lost his fire. Let's all hope I am wrong because losing Ngata we can withstand but if Suggs can't bring it this season we are in trouble. That means more double teams on Doom which throws our whole pass rush out of sync.
  10. So happy to have you Marc. No one expects you to be another Kubiak and no one wants you to be another Cam. If you can end up somewhere in between and win games along the way we will all be just fine.
  11. As much as I love Ngata at this point he is not as good as the player he is replacing. He may feel the need to get on the teams good side now because he won't contribute as much as Suh once the season starts. Oh and how can that tweet say we can't replace him with one player. Not that we are trying but he states how his snaps have gone down from 80% 4 years ago to only 50% last year. The writing was on the wall.
  12. Sounds like a great match. At face value it looks like every team Marc has been a part of has had success only to cut him lose. Sounds like he may have been a scape goat for other problems because he didnt connect with management. Well the Ravens have a history of standing by their people. Sometimes for too long. Hopefully we can give Marc the stability he desires and he can give us a top 10 offense.
  13. I've said this a thousand times. Dennis Pitta will never play football again. He is only participating with team activities so the Ravens have to honor his contract. Why would he not show up to work and watch to be paid millions of $$? I cant for the life of me understand why people still make comments about his return. It's not happening. His doctors have not cleared him yet and the FO has obviously moved forward without him in their plans. Gillmore is solid and we took the best TE in the draft with our 2nd round pick. At best he plays a game or 2 before getting hurt again or realizing his body cant do it and goes on IR. Please move on it's depressing. Thank you
  14. I am getting worried about Suggs this season. First he is soft spoken when addressing the media and tom brady and now he is the one standing quietly behind everyone in the family feud photo. It's strange to not see Suggs hamin it up in front of a camera.
  15. Ummm, I think you may be over thinking this.
  16. Gilmore will probably start over Maxx but there is no way I can see Perrimans speed and size sitting on the bench. As far Brady goes. If he gets away with this it will not only diminish his legacy but will also expose Goodell as the most corrupt commisioner in NFL history. The decision wont really effect my life but will define Rogers.
  17. A play away from the Conference Championship. But I like where your heads at!
  18. Without a doubt. If I were Ray Rice with all of his time and resources I would conduct extensive background checks on every TMZ reporter and talk show host that vilified him and basically pushed to completely ruin his life and livelihood and see how they like it when everyone knows your business. Time to force reporters to be actual journalists again.
  19. Love that Flacco is talking about playing for 10 more years. I'm not saying he can't. I still felt invincible at 30 too. Life has a way of catching up to you around 38 though.
  20. I know it is all just a bunch of talk but if Wes Welker is on our team this year I will personally BOOOOO him at every home game as he walks on the field. Ignorant? Immature? Maybe but he is one of very few that I am not ok with becoming a Raven. His wife can stay out of MD too.
  21. That's what they are paying him already. typical Ravens season record may be 11-5 = 11 million, 3 post season wins = 6 million and a Superbowl = 3 million all total 20 million.
  22. There is more to being a veteran backup with extensive first hand knowledge of Kub's system than just holding a clipboard
  23. So in all honesty where is our major weakness this year? I'm trying to have perspective but we seem set at all levels on offense and defense this year. How is our special teams looking? Anyone have an opinion? Thanks
  24. Games like ping pong and cornhole are great at building team chemistry. I loved reading stories about suggs raggin on the offensive and special teams guys last year over cornhole. These players have a lot more stress than I think people realize and it's great to be able to blow off a little steam and become a closer nit team at the same time. I'm all for it.
  25. What makes you say that? Pitta went down, had surgery, went down again with no contact and had another surgery. A third injury and surgery may cause enough damage that the once great athlete wouldnt even be able to run around with his kids. He has enough guaranteed money in his contract this year that cutting him wouldn't make sence except for a roster spot. I believe he is only at OTA's to keep his contract valid. Like most fans I love watching Pitta play so I am for it if he does but what reasoning makes you think he will?
