Excellent. RIP gold pants!!
Where are all the Dean Pees bashers today? [chirp chirp chirp] Huh? Where are you? [chirp chirp chirp]
Man, it felt good to get a regular season win! Hadn't experienced that since 12/27/15. That's 258 days! Without a Ravens reg season win. Ay ay ay!
Way to go, D! Now, let's get those kinks worked out of the offense, and this may prove to be a very fun season. I see 0 threat from RGIII's Browns next week.
But, argh, that last minute FG to give Cincy the win was so frustrating! We should be sitting atop the decision right now.Dean Pees Basher here, front and center. Let's not get carried away with anointing DP as the best DC in football. It's one game, against a Tyrod Taylor lead team. Not exactly stiff competition. Let's see how things unfold, particularly when we play a quality opponent. Bend but don't break will rear it's ugly head again I'm sure.
The fact that Sizzle, Weddle, Smith, Wright, Webb, etc all said that Pees called a great game should be enough for the people who think they know something about coaching. Difference this year is Pees has a nice mix of vets who understand the nuances and what needs to be changed. Smart, veteran players allow coaches to mix things up and get a little more exotic. Pees has a proven track record with two of the best teams of the past 17 years. A healthy defense this year will show how good Pees is. Imagine just how much better things may have been yesterday had Dumerville been ready.
O-line should not take the blame for all of the sacks. Some were coverage sacks. Joe took the sacks in a close game instead of forcing a throw. Judon played really well and I was surprised after seeing stat sheet at how little he was in the game. He seemed to pressure Tyrod every time he was in there. I smell something good cooking in Baltimore this year.........
Eisenberg said, "Well, because season ticket packages would then consist of nine games rather 10, potentially creating all sorts of issues."
What kinds of issues other than less money in the owners pockets
First Eugene Monroe and now Juszcyk is "very pro grass"
This whole time I was thinking that Ronnie Stanley was Osemele's replacement. Now I'm learning that there is no replacement for Osemele, these guys we have running this team really expect one of the backups we've had to step in and protect Flacco to the same caliber as Osemele????? Fire Coach Harbaugh ASAP
Your name implies you've been a Ravens fan since '03...I'm just wondering from your posts when you stopped being a Ravens fan?
"Monroe in no rush to sign" tells me all I need to know. He doesn't want to do this anymore It's obvious once he became a Dad and signed the new deal he's been coasting and football is way down the list. It also took him an awful long time to recover from his torn labrum.
Do we really need another receiver even with Perriman hurt? We certainly don't need someone without a lot of speed. Moore and Wallace should work out well and it seems we will be using a lot of two TE formations.
Hopefully the shoulder pad issue doesn't turn into anything. Let's hope they weren't under-inflated.

He was a first round talent, a perfect Ravens pick (like Jernigan) and could've been the next Terrell Suggs for us. I'm not taking anything away from Correa. He went right where he was predicted to go. Spence dropped alomst a full round over a drug problem that was resolved with 20 clean tests in a row.. Also, look at the game tape for these two and see how much more Spence does. Correa might end up being good, but Spence is going to be great. Book it.
Amazing that every other team passed on this supposed first round talent but we're the ones who will rue the day we didn't draft him in the second round. A drug problem is hardly resolved by passing twenty consecutive drug tests. Dominating most of the time at Eastern Kentucky is hardly an indication of how will do in the NFL

I loved having Anquan as a Raven but he and Torrey obviously are not happy with their new team and they both were fan favorites in Baltimore. Q don't play that! Too funny. You should have said Q don't play. As in play football.
BTW, Q has been gone for three years and in those three years he's averaged 79-1,010-5. Not bad for a player that as you say doesn't play football. I knew it was the right thing to let all of the recent free agents go who got deals we couldn't/shouldn't match but let's not badmouth them for taking more lucrative deals. Let's just thank them for their contribution and move on. The good news is if they are getting better deals to leave it means that they performed well for us while they were here.

Nothing wrong with either of them getting what another team would pay. Team loyalty in pro sports doesn't exist. For every guy who's left the Ravens to make more money there are many more who were waived with contract years remaining. There weren't a lot of happy Ravens last year when we went 5-11 either.

PREACH, Crusader!!! Q don't play that

Only Stanley's been introduced and Young showed up on flock day. But, nobody else? I thought Kaufusi was aleady here on the final day of the draft? Why no videos? I thought we had a big staff of PR and BR.com people on board. Every other team in the NFL has extensive footage on all of their draft picks, but we are lacking sorely in that department. It's just not now but has been the case for a long time. We lag behind the rest of the NFL in website content for sure.
I suspect they are probably waiting until this weekend's rookie camp to introduce everyone. Pretty unfair to expect the draftees to be here right away and then quickly send them away to pack and then expect them come right back next weekend. Saying we lag behind the rest of the nfl in content is untrue and a poor blanket statement. Also stating that every other NFL has extensive footage on all their draft picks and we don't is also a farce. We have content on our site right now of all the picks.
Yanda and Williams are our perfect "choirboys". Beasts on the filed but conduct themselves as gentlemen off of it. Funny that we're now having to point negative things to make us look like we still have an edge. This kind of reminds of when Ben Carson said he once pulled a knife on a guy to make himself look tough.
Make that 4 WRs who will make the roster. You forgot to mention Mike Wallace

So much for that theory...he might be chosen in the late second round
Ramsey is worth a trade up
I like Ramsey too, but it'd cost too much to move up...we'd have to give them our 1st and 2nd rounders and a 4th rounder just to move up those 4 spots
Let's hope the Cowboys take Elliott so that we have a choice between Ramsay, Tunsil and Bosa. If those three are gone I sure hope we are able to trade back. Trading with Tennessee swapping the 6th pick for the 15th and 33rd is a good trade for the Ravens in this draft if the three above are gone.
I sure hope either Ramsey, Bosa or Tunsil are available at 6. If not, I hope we are able to trade down. I think after those three you can throw a blanket over the next 10 players. I'm starting to get scared about Jack's knee.
Good work Ryan. Good information. Thanks for not just posting possibilities we have with the sixth pick.
18 hours ago, rmcjacket23 said:So, basically, we should pass on Tunsil because he may or may not smoke weed.
Yeah, we are going to have a tough time drafting a lot of really good players if that's the case.
And yes, falling off a balcony would be significantly different than not falling off a balcony.
We drafted a guy who fell down the stairs (remember Sergio Kindle?). Why not a guy who allegedly feel off of a balcony? Just kidding of course. Amazing how all this negative garbage about these players starts popping up this time of year. Just put on the tape and you can see Tunsil would solve a lot of problems for us and also create some cap place when our current LT is waived or restructures.
Let me help make this a quick article.....
"If the five teams above the Ravens don't draft Tunsil the Ravens will have the opportunity to draft him with the sixth pick."
I realize it's a slow news time and but why don't you guys write stories on possible players the Ravens may draft in the later rounds that could help the team?

I think Flacco still a bit nervous about the knee and was afraid to get outside. It'll come with time. Keep the faith Dirtytird66
