Attended the Ravens game yesterday and they did the damn thing. Got home and watched the Bears annihilate the Vikings... Devon Hester is the truth. Good job by both teams. Next up for us is the Jaguars on Monday Night Football. Go RAVENS!!!

Can someone explain to me why Trayvon Martin wasn't entitled to "stand his ground" since he was the one being accosted? Is that only a defense for those carrying concealed with connections to local law enforcement? And who is this Zimmerman guy that every guest of that community would have to check with him in order to walk to a convenience store to buy snacks at night. Had a heart breaking night of football! My Ravens go down to last second mistakes; touchdown pass stripped and a shanked field goal which would have won and tied the game respectively. Hat's off to my Ravens for an exceptionally played game on both offense and defense. With a new offensive coordinator and our young playmakers gaining both regular season and playoff experience, next year looks very promising for a 5th straight year in post season play.

Had an absolutely brilliant day today. Hooked up with Tomiya (Ella), her son David, and Oscar ( Tomiya & Oscar are High School classmates) today down in Washington D.C. We did a tour of the Pentagon, had lunch in Chinatown, swung by the MLK memorial/Georgetown/Arlington National Cemetery/ and the Fishermans market to get the biggest damn shrimps/prawns I have ever seen in my life. Got some crabs and crab legs too.Beautiful day to see the sites of the Nations Capital. Thanks Tomiya/David...

I nominate Max Starks as the Ravens MVP for his stellar performance in the 2nd half of the San Francisco (Lights out) 49'ers vs Pittsburg (Gimpy) Steelers. His vanishing act under the relentless pressure of the 49'er rookie DE aided a continuous pounding of Ben (the zombie) Rothlesberger. Special shoutout to coach Mike ( Omar Epps ) Tomlin for his blind faith in a near crippled QB to bring his team back from oblivion with just minutes left in the game and down by 3 scores. I peeped the Red Tails movie tonight and it was well worth the money. The theatre that I went to was packed, but they only had it showing in one of 24 screens. At Cinemark (Arundel Mills MD) they usually have mock ups of new releases but nothing for the Tuskegee Airman. I think they will do well despite the limited release. Dog fight scenes are off the hook.
