  1. With a surgically repaired knee, using a #6 spot on him doesn't make sense to me. Think our biggest need is a LT to protect Flacco
  2. Ravens are making moves!!!
  3. I agree, Suggs going down last year was a major blow to the defense and the team as a whole. The entire dynamic of the defense changed and it showed on the field. IMO last year was an anomaly and if you're on the outside looking in and only look at the final record, yeah we were bad. But true fans we had 21 players on IR which equated to 50% of our entire salary cap. We get those guys back healthy and a couple of new additions (Watson, Weddle and potentially 1st round draft pick) and we are good!!
  4. In order for the Ravens to trade the #6 pick it would have to be tied to an impact player and a mid-late 1st and 2nd rnd pick. It's been 16 years since we've had an opportunity to draft a potential franchise player and I highly doubt they are going to trade out of it.
  5. That is not a fair assessment, last 3 years he had Ryan Tannehill and Teddy Bridgewater as his QB, realistically what did you expect him to be able to do. I think he would do much better with Flacco's arm
  6. makes me wonder too. I think Kendrick Lewis is as good as gone. From there i think it comes down to Brooks and Elam. I'm like you, I love what I've seen from Terrence Brooks when he's been healthy enough to see the field. Webb could end up as depth at corner. I have a feeling Elam is going to be selling sneakers...
  7. Reading that Wallace isn't even supposed to arrive until this evening,
  8. Can see Ozzie grabbing a Pass rusher and drafting Stanley at #6
  9. I envision drafting Stanley - with KO going to Oakland and Eugene not able to stay healthy there is the potential for a a large hole to fill. With Flacco's extension they need to provide him some long term protection and Stanley is the guy to do that.
  10. Same money just gave the organization the opportunity to bolster the roster by agreeing to restructure. Classy move Marshal!
  11. Good pick up!!!!!!
  12. I will agree that Ozzie and Eric are definitely looking at our receiving corps and saying we've got to get better here because EVERYONE saw how much our offense struggled with a sub par receiving corps
  13. I have the feeling, too, that Ozzie won't be after Stanley at #6. Remember the typically draft best player available. Knowing they've just extended Flacco's career and Monroe unfortunately has been MIA if Stanley is the best available OL at #6 he will come off the board as previously mentioned he is the most ready to be plugged into an OL on day 1 compared to the other OL available. That said, who really knows what they're going to do. We always end up scratching our heads go, hmmm didn't see that one coming.
  14. He was arrested at a Mexican restaurant not a bar for suspended license due to speeding tickets. Not a big deal Hmm.. I don't think that warrants suspension for games does it? When Brady continued to play despite duping the game of football and the millions that pay to watch it, a suspended license shouldn't be penalized. This should not have any suspension from the NFL; this is reportedly a minor traffic accident with a suspended license. No mention of alcohol or drugs or "misconduct" that would varnish the NFL badge. Should not have any major repercussions from this incident
  15. WOW!!!
  16. THIS IS HUGE!!!
  17. With our Head Coach spending all those years as a special teams coach and with our ST being #1 in the league last year Tuck is a major piece of that puzzle.
  18. Hope he takes the deal bc i have a feeling if he doesn't then our #6 pick is going to be on LT
  19. Hope he stays in Bmore; he's a huge part of this defense!!
  20. Hopefully whoever they take can have more of a positive impact than our other most recent 1st round picks - Elam, Perriman...
  21. I've got a really good incenctive - IT's CALLED A PAYCHECK!!!!
  22. Yes, the injury was not his fault. I am more concerned with the fact that the team waited so long to scope his knee to find out it was more serious that originally thought. Another thing that has me concerned with is the teams strength and agility coaching - way too many injuries, something is off drastically and needs to be thoroughly examined because it cannot happen again...
  23. The #1 thing that has to happen in order to create more turnovers is that our pass rush has to be better. There is definite correlation btwn our lowest sack year also matching our lowest turnover year. QB pressure creates such havoc that they throw early, throw errant and that's what creates turnovers
  24. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  25. For the same reason we talked to two previous head coaches to become our OC's!! They obviously didn't value him as a DC. Do you think they only look for position coaches to become new DC's or OC's, no if there was a good DC they coveted they would have asked to talk to them - and they didn't.
