what happened to our pass rush?, its been missing since week 3 pees happened to the pass rush. hope we bring back pagano when he gets fired within the next few weeks or allow frazier to put in some input with blitz schemes. I am with you.... Pees play defense scared. There is no aggression in his style of defense. No forcefulness...I am so sick of the bend but dont break approach (that always breaks in the 4th quarter)... We drafted with an emphasis on improving the pass rush and we have none. We now have our only pass rush injured (Suggs) with no timetable on Dum. IDK but the Passive Pees approach is sickening and the defense is completely untrustworthy with the game on the line! I want Pagano back also! People want to keep blaming our OC and DC - this all falls on Harbs!! It's his mentality and it's been this way since he got here. Do just enough to win, no need to blow anyone out when all you need is one point to win. He plays chess the entire game and sets opponents up every possession and when the game is on the line the cuffs are taken off and they historically have been able to march down the field and win. Defense has also always been the bend but don't break, they don't wreak havoc in the first 3 quarters and wait for the 4th to bring when the opposing offense is more tired than they are. Harbaugh has to share in this mess, it's his team and the buck ultimately stops with him!!

Part of the problem on that play was the OL got no push whatsoever. Beginning to think our second stringers wouldn't even be on any other teams practice squad.

Did you see Harbs on the sideline, he looked scared on that play. His coaching abilities have reached their max, there is nobody on the players side, aside from #89, to take lead of this team. When #89 isn't on the field the entire team gets deflated.

Paying Flacco all that money after the SB has finally come back to bite the org in the butt. Now they have to cheap it out and everyone can see how that is working out for us. Like they say, "Maybe next year". Don't bet on it though. Like Billick had to be given the gate, it is time for Harbaugh to take that route too. He is as ineffective as the team right now. A house cleaning is in order and then the rebuild begins all over again. Man, any QB worth their weight gets paid that amount of money. Did you see what the Texans paid Oswoller and he can't even hold Flacco's jock strap!!!

Exactly. Terence West had 3 chances from the 1 and couldn't get in. If Juice makes any kind of block, he scores on the 4th down play. How are you a fullback and can't block 1 single guy against Goalline defense - pathetic by both backs in the backfield. If Juice makes that block. West is in. Period. And we could say that about 3 other plays on that goal line too. But yeah, I'd have made that call too. I may have gone for it but I would have never called a trips right hb pitch left. Best chance would have been jumbo set double TE power I up the gut!!! Never would have called a play putting my HB 5 yards deep to receive a pitch!!!

Where was the pass rush? And when Suggs finally got to Eli he ended up tearing his bicep... I can sense major frustration from Flacco towards his receivers. There were too many dropped balls hitting guys in their hands and just not catching the damn ball. Then Flacco throwing the ball 10 feet over a wide open Wallace, then our new OC calls the same play like he was playing Madden. Our OL his atrocious Jimmy, it's 4th and 5 - please tell me why you are playing 15 yards off the line of scrimmage and not jamming the receiver at the line? THEN, once Jimmy went out our secondary looked pathetic. We put Young on OBJ on 4th and 1 and he and Weddle get caught up on a pick route then Webb gets caught flat footed and OBJ runs it in from 66 yards - ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?!?!?! Oh, almost forgot. I thought Trestman was fired last week. Sure looked like he was still calling the plays!! 48 passing attemps 26 rushing attempts - that's not balance!! Hey Harbs, do you think now after 3 weeks you've learned to just put the points on the board and take what the defense gives you or are you going to keep coaching with your ego???

In addition to the problems in coverage, return man Devin Hester has also had some issues. He muffed a punt against Jacksonville and then fumbled against Oakland, and he seemed tentative at times to run under punts against Washington. NOT at all what I expected from Hester; he either needs to return (pun intended) to form or let another guy have a shot. His punt fielding against Washington was horrible - 2 he should have fair caught he didn't and let them bounce 10 yards further down field.

What you say has merit but the Raiders and the Redskins were playing a lot of cover 2 with safety help over the top; they were comfortable giving us the 5 yard dinks and taking away Wallace and Perriman. Those guys CANNOT continue to be just deep threats, there is intermediate crossing/slant routes they can run and should be able to get YAC's with. When defenses know these two guys only go deep then play press man and keep your safety back for help - that's the formula to shutting down our passing game, especially when #89 is on the sideline...

To your #5 point - kind of hard not to get gassed when your offense goes 3 and out for most of the game. The first drive of the game was almost 5 mins and 70 yards; do that in the 3rd and 4th quarter and your defense is rested. When your defense is on the field more than your offense they're going to be tired. That said, they still held them to 1 TD and 1 FG the entire game just waiting for the offense to actually do something; which is why I feel Mosley tried so hard to get that ball across the pylon...If the defense was giving up 40 points then I'd cry about them but they aren't, games ARE NOT being lost because of the defense.

I agree, I don't understand why they always take those shots on 3rd down and not trying it on 1st down which gives you another 2 downs to get another 1st down.

Harbaugh said part of the reason for so many check-downs is that defenses are dropping in coverage to give up the underneath pass. But even with that, the Ravens have to take shots and find holes in the defense’s coverage. They can’t allow the defense to completely dictate their passing game. ^^^meaning our receivers are not beating the coverage and finding ways to get open. The only one who consistently is able to do so is Smith Sr and when he went out our passing game went out with him...Receivers coach needs to do a better job getting these guys prepared and making in game changes!!!

Please leave with those comments. Your statement is false! everyone keeps saying we have been going down hill since 2012? Not true remember we went to the play off the next year. Remember the eligible receiver deal? We technically have a combined losing record after 2012...

You don't remember the Boldin drop in the endzone vs. Pitt to win that post season game do you? You mean the one that was low and he went down to get it and went right through his arms...yeah I remember :(

Agree but even at it's basic the OL failed. Ok, we didn't have our starters but everyone knows it's next man up, if that's our OL with that philosophy then we are screwed. If the OL doesn't play better then forget about the O getting better. It all starts with the protection.

It's obvious from his press conference he didn't even realize Trestman abandoned the run yesterday. When is he going to learn how to manage a game and make the necessary in game changes? your question doesnt make sense. you're basically asking him to be the offensive coordinator. he's a special teams guy. He made a hire, it didnt work, he replaced the guy. what do you want? No, I'm not asking him to be the OC but he is the HC who has the responsibility to oversee every facet of the game just like every other person in his position. Great, he's a special teams guy - where is he on the Special Teams then?

Special teams is bad? They had one bad game, but special teams has been perhaps the strongest phase of our game this year. They've allowed a cpl returns for TD's so far this season. They are missing too many arm tackles and giving up too many yards

O-Line was pathetic yet again - when are you people going to call for the OL coach to be replaced?? Sorry Harbs, your OC did abandon the run!!!! Sorry WR's - we supposedly have all this talent yet couldn't break the coverage and get open. Seriously, Smith Sr is the only one who knows how to read DB's and where the coverage isn't and when he's not in the game no other WR steps up and makes plays!!!
