He politically correctly said - if you have a problem with the way the offense was ran or with the plays that were called talk to the OC or the HC - I'm just a player that runs the plays as they are called...brilliant!!!!

Uhh, not really- the key is not our secondary. The Buffalo Bills' secondary shut down Pittsburgh's passing game and look what happened- Pittsburgh went with the run and Le'Veon Bell absolutely destroyed Buffalo with 200+ yards of rushing and 3 TDs. With Pittsburgh, it's never as simple as one key to the game. Exactly, we need to do exactly as we did in the first game - shut down Bell and Brown!!!

We all know if we win both games we're in. Ravens just do it, so we don't have to play the what if game. However, the what if game is: If we go 1-1 and it doesn't matter who we lose to and end 9-7 we can get the #6 wild card If: Miami must lose both games (they are at Buf and then home against Pats) they win one game they have the #6 spot by record. Tenn and Den must lose at least one of their last two games to have the Ravens tie or better them and we have the tiebreaker on both. At best the Colts and Buf can tie and we have tiebreaker over Indy and beat Buf head-to-head. The first wild card slot #5 will go to either Oak or KC whoever doesn't win their division. Merry Christmas to all and on Christmas night around 7:30 we hope to be cheering a Ravens victory to cap a great day of family celebration. In my eyes, if we do not win the division we might might as well just not the playoffs anyway because l don't see them going to the Super Bowl as a wild card team and have to go on the road the rest of the way. They need to set up like they did in 2012 Super Bowl run; win the division and start off with a playoff home game in the wild card round then go on the road in the last two to get to the big dance. Offensively we are scoring more points on average yet our defense is giving up more points on average and it's the offenses, more directly Flacco's, fault when we lose. Flacco's cap hit 2016 is $22,500,00 Matt Ryan cap hit 2016 is $23,750,000 - how many Superbowls has he won? How many playoff wins does he have? He does however and has his entire career been throwing to HOF TE Gonzalez; Roddy White and Julio Jones.... Matthew Stafford cap hit 2016 is $22,500,000 - what's he won? That is not the way the offense is run - not sure what you people don't understand - JOE RUNS THE PLAY AS CALLED - this offense has always done that and will continue to. The only time Joe seemed to have the decision making authority was in the 2012 playoffs. Other than that, the play that is sent in is the play that is ran. That's not up to Joe, that's up to the head coach!!

Amen!! I can not remember a time when someone said the Ravens have a hire power offense. This team has been about one thing since they moved to Baltimore and that is winning ulgy games and doing it with defense! Then why pay Flacco all that money instead of spending it on the defense? Flacco should be put in jail for stealing all that money he's being paid. You don't get paid for what you did in the past, you get paid for what you should do in the future and since being paid twice after the super bowl and the extension he's done nothing but collect a check every week. But I can blame him though, I blame Ozzie. He gambles too much and now it's costing them. But you do pay QBs for what they do in the past. You can complain about Flacco's pay all you want, if you have a DECENT QB, they are going to get paid a lot of money. You don't let a QB go after he just had one of the best post seasons ever. The going rate for QBs is ridiculous, and it's only going to get worse. Imagine being the Texans right now. But did they have to pay him so much that the team suffers for years? Ravens won both Superbowl's not paying a Kings Ransom. Joe's not worth being the 4 highest paid QB in the NFL.Notice how quickly the Ravens fell out of serious contention when he got paid? IMO, I agree with #89's actions and comments - receivers have been getting a lot of flack for not catching balls and now #89 is speaking out and telling his QB to get his act right!! Which is about time!!! We need the OL to step up and most importantly Flacco needs to step up!!!

Not sure what game you were watching; ok maybe Joe did have another second to throw but to who? Our receivers weren't able to beat the zone coverage and get open, that's why he checked it down. Could you not see him start from the left and progress to the right and then check down. Joe can't make these receivers get open, that's something they either now how to do or they don't and right now #89 is the only one (IMO) smart enough to do that.

Not really, it's more like when the offense is humming its a great game plan and scheme and when its struggling - its Flacco's fault, he sucks, we need to get rid of him, he's no good blah blah blah. (not my opinion, just what I read on here by damn near everyone else) Joe is not the problem, it's the entire cast of characters on the offensive side of the ball that play too inconsistent. Take away #89 and #88 and the offense struggles because nobody else steps up. That said, I will say that NE had a much better game plan than we did; they had an answer for everything we did on both sides of the ball. As for us, we yet again failed to make any in game adjustments and that's 100% on the coaching for a crappy game plan!!!

I believe your original point was putting the onus completely on Flacco for the inability of our receivers to (a) catch the ball (b) get YAC (c) find soft spots in coverage (d) get open - it's just like everyone else, blame Flacco for everything. People want Joe to stand in the pocket, he stood in the "pocket" as it collapsed while four receivers stood next to their defender; now everyone is saying he should have rolled out - which is it, do you want him to stand in the pocket or get happy feet and roll out and try to make a play...

Yet so many want to blame Joe. Team sport! Yes, everyone even supposedly unbiased national reporters still blame Joe for poor offensive coordinator game plans. I swear the game plan was MM making a statement that he was in charge and not Joe. All the coordinator changes has got to be killing Joe, no consistency and stability. Harbs is still paying for not Firing Trestman at the end of last year. Harbs MUST be Savage this year and gut the entire offensive coaching system and get in someone who can fix both Joe and the line (Bobby might be the only safe guy, but still when you have everyone stopping short of the sticks, you would think that he should be coaching the guys up to get beyone that and not on the same parallel line); and then they need to stay for multiple years. So when its poor mechanics and erratic accuracy (which it mostly was on Monday night), you can't blame coaches. There's just no logic behind it. And for the millionth time, the reason why receivers can't just "run to the sticks" and catch a pass is because there's a thing called an opposing defense. Said opposing defense just so happens to also know precisely where the 1st down marker is. And you know what smart defenses do? Flood that line. Go back and watch film of the Patriots schemes on 3rd down. Guess what you'll see an absolute ton of? A bunch of Patriots guys surrounding the line of gain. And the fan strategy is to throw directly into those guys. Speaking of bad game plans... that one takes the cake. You also could look at the other offense. They have a QB who is going to the HOF, based frequently on throwing to receivers who are well short of the first down marker on 3rd down and still manage to get a 1st down.
