  1. Why yes Torrey, bears do!
  2. Like Ray said "There would be no Baltimore Ravens without Mr. Modell's vision." And #Ravensnation is forever grateful for Art bringing football back to Baltimore!!!
  3. I have to agree with you on this; the game against the Pats was a darn good game - outcome sucked but still a great game. If we had our starters on the field Brady would not have been able to pick them apart like he did. We were #22 away from going back!!!
  4. with 8 mill in cap space I'm wondering who they would sign with it??
  5. I would venture to say there are at least 25-27 other teams that would take Flacco in a heart beat!
  6. These two guys are beasts, we are set with either of these guys on the field. Just hope they all stay healthy!!!
  7. I think it's going to be easier than some ppl think. Don't get me wrong, I am definitely going to miss Ngata but the young guys held their own the last 4 games he was suspended and with them having another training camp and pre-season to prepare I think they are going to be just fine. That said, I will say someone like Ngata is not someone you just "replace" though.
  8. I would venture to say that if our rush defense was suspect NE would have ran the ball more than 4 times; instead they decided to throw against our suspect secondary - which is ultimately where they had success.
  9. Just from reading his quotes, this guy has a good head on his shoulders. Prayers are with you Means!
  10. Don't do it often but i have to agree with you here. 1. We are definitely not in a WIN now mode; but I will say they put this team together with the intentions of winning as quickly as possible. Like you said, they've also gotten younger in hopes of building a team that can also grow and become better and win also. 2. I definitely can't say that; just think it was the right year for us. Joe and the receivers got hot in the post season!
  11. Maxx is going to have a brilliant career if he maintains his attitude and humility. Glad to have him as a Ravens!
  12. Aiken quite simply just gets the job done, and he does it in a variety of ways. That's all we need - to be able to put 11 guys on offense and 11 guys on defense that can get the job done!
  13. Very true, hopefully he's learned to keep his head up, drive through his target and wrapping up. The NFL receivers are stronger and savvier than the college receivers he thinks he's still playing.
  14. That's what makes this TEAM so awesome, veterans getting in there and showing the young guys how to be professionals. It brings continuity as a unit and only makes each player that much better. Kudos to you guys for doing it right!!
  15. must be all the mcnuggets he's been eating this off season
  16. Waller 6'6" 240 Perriman 6'2" 212 Williams 6'4" 250 Gilmore 6'6" 251 Aiken 6'2" 215 Brown 6'5" 215 Man, they got Joe some big targets!!! Let's do this!!!! oh and don't forget Smith Sr 5'9" 195 who plays just as big if not bigger.
  17. You definitely cannot put that pass on Joe; Torrey made no attempt whatsoever to catch that ball. If you watch the video again you can clearly see Torrey watch the defender make a play and then try to swat at him - a pathetic attempt and IMO i believe that's why the #Ravens didn't try to keep him. ALSO, don't forget Joe and the offense got TWO 14 point leads in that game and the defense gave it right back to the Pats. If our secondary wasn't what it was last year we would have our 3rd ring - but like rmjacket said, coulda woulda shoulda. I feel right now we are putting a better squad on the field this year, so if they stay healthy watch out!
  18. Of course, he's a special's team coach - 2 reasons why (IMO) - (1) Justin Tucker and (2) i suspect Harbs will be drawing up some 2 point conversion plays now that the window has increased and he draw some mismatches with our big TE's (Gilmore is 6'5" and Williams is 6'4" - dey dem boys!!
  19. Look, Pitta re-injured his hip on a no contact play by planting his foot - do you honestly believe that he's capable of recovering twice. This is the same injury the ended Bo Jacksons career. Pitta needs to just call it quits and be thankful he can still walk. That said, I would love for him to be able to but I'm being realistic here.
  20. Didn't they do it for 4 games last season when Ngata was suspended??
  21. Even after reading this Asked Friday night about not getting a lineman with a high pick, Ravens Assistant GM Eric DeCosta said, “We feel like we got some good ones last year,” referring to tackle Rick Wagner and center Ryan Jensen. That sounds like they’re standing pat, and my best guess is they’ll look to add a veteran free agent down the line, someone like Eric Winston. B you can still say you "honestly don't know." I know, I know - it's because the FO believes they drafted this player last year in Wagner or Jensen!!! How do I know this, cause I read the article!!
  22. His point is that the FO should have taken his call and drafted who he wanted, and they should have taken Joey Flac's call and rmjackets call and then we would have all of the best offensive weapons that were available!! The bottom line is the FO had these defensive players ranked higher than the available offensive players. Not quite sure why people feel the need to whine and cry about the FO's decision's because these people are all smarter than us, that's why it's their job and we are the fans.
  23. And who knows, maybe KO won't have a back injury; maybe Yanda won't have a shoulder injury; maybe our LG won't be "learning" as he goes along...there was a lot of factors that went in to the offensive lines performance last year and it wasn't just Gino. And just so you all know, the QB is the one who starts it all - he tells (or is supposed to) the center what coverage he wants and then the center relays that to the rest of the line...
  24. That's what was being said about Shipley last year...
