  1. I'm sure they are all saying - Sure am glad Suggs is out...You play with who is suited up!!
  2. With the way Flacco has been throwing the jump ball I would venture to say it doesn't matter who is in the end zone trying to catch, if it's under thrown it's a pick and that's what Joe's been throwing a lot of this year.
  3. Gillmore had a critical first down against Denver. He had 2 TD's against Oakland. I believe he would of had a good day against Cincy had he not left the game with a calf injury, which is why we saw Boyle and Williams sharing snaps.
  4. What about Babin?
  5. Is Babin suiting up this week? Or are we just paying him to stand on the sideline?
  6. Can't disagree with this comment. I would also like to add that you also expect that when your offense does get the lead back that your defense is able to make a stop and unfortunately the defense hasn't been able to do that either. That said, the game against NE last year - Joe put the ball where Torrey could get it, he stopped running and waited for the defender to catch it before he decided to make an attempt. Against Denver Joe put the ball right into Steve Smith Sr's hands that bounced off his face mask. I understand completely what you're saying about Joe needing to step up but if he doesn't have the supporting cast it doesn't matter how well the ball is placed, which has become evident watching Aiken and Brown drop almost every ball he's thrown to them this year. Honestly, I would line up our 3 TE's as our receivers, at least we know they can all catch!!!
  7. Didn't read the article but just by the title alone I'm going to say - TO WHO JOE? You tried these past 3 games and it appears the only ones who know how to catch are Steve Smith Sr, Gillmore, Boyer, Williams and Juice.
  8. The [other receivers] have disappeared most games. There is no speed, athleticism or separation from defenders Ravens fans have been saying this for a few years now, do you think the FO will start to take notice to this fact? Steve Smith Sr can't do it all by himself - it's time for the other receivers to WAKE UP!!!
  9. Time to put Perriman on the IR and sign a FA veteran that can come in and help this team because we can't do it with only Smith and our TE trio. Brown and Aiken have been absent these 3 games and I'm not seeing anything changing in the near future.
  10. The Defense led by faulty coaching faltered and failed yet again in the fourth quarter. Time to reassess Pees' ability to coach this defense! Flacco needs to wake up, too many under thrown balls - balls thrown at wide open receivers feet, over their heads, behind receivers. The entire team needs to start playing with urgency, no excuses!
  11. It was done because the coaching staff had seen enough and knows enough on Babin; not so much on Smith. So they gave Smith a shot against what they thought was going to be an easy offense but then they were proven wrong. After 2 weeks of practice I would expect to see Babin in pads this week and on the field. Too important of a game to have a rookie over a veteran
  12. When you give any QB 4+ seconds to find the open receiver- guess what, they're going to find an open receiver, which Carr did. The biggest key to helping your suspect secondary and getting a rush on the opposing QB and they failed to do that to Carr. We've learned over the past 4-5 years that a 3 man rush doesn't work!
  13. I understand what you're saying but I commend Harbs for calling them out, they deserve to be called out. Harbs used to do just that and hide behind that "we" but now the defense knows that it's on them and as a unit they need to step up and play smash mouth Ravens style defense. We've got a tough schedule, with 2 division games coming up and if we make it out 2-2 it would be a miracle bc I honestly see us being 1-3 after these next 2 games.
  14. Here's something to ponder on - the Coordinators all put together their game plans for the week and guess who they review them with? HARBS!! So while we are quick to blame the OC/DC/ST but ultimately the game plan is approved and in play by Harbs. So why isn't he questioning these guys more? Why isn't he saying ok, well what if that doesn't work, what then? Maybe he is and Sunday's plan was the best they could come up with, in which case this is going to be a very long and disappointing season!
  15. Although we are going into the 3rd week our season starts this weekend against Cincy. They have definitely made this harder than it needs to be!!!
  16. This isn't pop warner where every did a great job and goes home with a medal. The defense gave up 37 points, 351 passing yards and 3 TD's to a 2nd year QB. They failed to get the Raiders offense off the field on several drives and when it mattered most in the 4th quarter they couldn't get the job done. Harbs made a statement in the pre-season that he would love to get a game winning stop in the 4th quarter out of the defense and they haven't been able to do it and they haven't been able to do it for a couple years now.
  17. Ok, players effort was a major factor but I would like to question what the hell Dean Peas was thinking when he drew up this game plan? Basically had a 3 man rush the entire game, no pass rush, no blitzes and when we realized that Carr can make a play if we don't get pressure on him, they continued to rush 3 and allow Carr time in the pocket to find his open receiver. These first 2 games we are witnessing what we do every year; coaching staff has a game plan and no contingency plan if the original plan isn't working and that's unacceptable.
  18. The Ravens are winless, but nobody needs to panic just yet, wrote The Baltimore Suns Alexander Pyles. If they're 0-4 after playing the Steelers Oct. 1 on Thursday Night Football, then we can talk. ^^^ That's it right there, these next 2 games are pivotal to the remainder of the season. Given what we have seen these first two games I don't see us being 2 - 2 after Cincy and Pitt and 1 - 3 makes for a rough climb. They definitely have not made things easy for themselves!!!
  19. hahaha, they couldn't stop a runny nose!! Classic!!
  20. Like Babin more now that I saw him hit Ben like that!!!
  21. Will Hill III is a monster!! Williams is force and CJ Mosley is going to be another great one!!
  22. No if Gillmore hadn't of got his hands on the ball it would have hit the defender in the back of the helmet - because if you recall the defender wasn't playing the ball and didn't know to jump, Gillmore reached over the defender and that's when Stewart tipped it away. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/videos/videos/NFLN-Ravens-vs-Broncos-Highlights/bed4e800-8c2a-47d8-aae1-5869e64be140 obviously towards the end of the clip you can see Gillmore reach over the defender and catch it on his back
  23. you could say the same thing for Jimmy Smith's interception as well.
  24. Does it really matter who we have if your QB has no time to throw the dang ball. Did you not read the article where it said Flacco was pressured on 64% of his drop backs. That gives him no time to set his feet or get passed his first outlet. The blame isn't on the receivers when they are running 10+ yard routes that develop once Flacco is scrambling or on the ground. What needed to happen was we needed to have an extra lineman in to block Ware and have the RB back in protection against Von Miller. Instead they let the LT/RT get beat up all day and Flacco pressured all day. The OL and coaching inability to make in game adjustments (yet again) lost the Denver game!!
  25. Here you go; he lead the team!!! 79 receptions 1,065 yards http://www.baltimoreravens.com/team/team-statistics.html click on 2014 Regular Season and you will see that he lead the team in receptions and yards!!! Have a nice day!
