I think that would be my major concern. I think at this point, you have to play the long term game and do whatever is best for that. Based off of last year's attempt to let something heal on it's own, I'm not sure opting to do that again this year is the best option, but I'm not an expert.
Right, if I was in his shoes and the doctor were to tell me we can do the surgery and you'll be back for next season 100% or we can do the stem cell get you back at 80% for this season and you may still need surgery in the future, I'm sitting out for sure.

I dont think Kyrie even fits there with him, he plays too much iso and is a lest talented Westbrook imo. I just dont think he would leave again because he would become that guy who quits when things are hard, it wouldnt matter how many titles he won.
Isn't he already that guy? I agree with what you're saying but he also needs other superstar players, I don't think he can win with just above average starters and a deep bench, and good luck convincing anybody that Cleveland is a place where they want to live.
Just now, rmw10 said:Yeah I saw that. Apparently they would opt for stem cell injections over a total reconstruction.
I won't pretend to be a doctor or anything, but wouldn't it make sense to just do the surgery and get it over with? We saw how the last knee injury went when they just tried to let it heal. In my eyes, it seems better to do the surgery now and look toward 2017 than him possibly having a setback and missing part of 2017.
I'm not a doctor either, but a lot of advances have been made with ACL injuries, if it's a partial tear the stem cell injections might be enough to get him back this yea healthy. I would just trust whatever the doctor recommends for him, after everything with last year's PCL I would think if he could possibly have any setback I would think he would opt to just get the surgery and sit out the year.
There's "absolutely" a chance that Ravens' WR Breshad Perriman could return for 2016 season, per source. Surgery Tuesday should tell more.
#Ravens WR Breshad Perriman's scope from James Andrews is tomorrow. That will determine if he needs a reconstruction. 1st visit was today.

It's a set you can't separate them.

If he wouldn't have made it clear he wants bring a title to Cleveland, then I would give it a shot. He knows if he left it would ruin his legacy, he cares more about being liked.
First time made sense. Going back didn't imo, but I predicted he would.
I feel like all he cares about is winning titles and it's not going to happen in Cleveland. I would not be a bit surprised if he left.
Peru beat Brazil for the first time in 41 years. This is really awesome! I could not have been cheering any louder last night.

Just now, berad said:LOL sorry, we haven't deviated yet... this can be the catch-all Monroe thread
Lol sounds good... I just like the get back on topic posts cause it usually means there was an argument I can read through like ![]()
2 minutes ago, BmoreBird22 said:In his first two, sure, he was excellent, but since those two, he's a collective 8-19 (42%) from over 50. That's not really something that gives me a whole lot of faith.
Has any other kicker made more than 8 kicks from +50?
6 minutes ago, BmoreBird22 said:Well, defintiely one kicker, but probably two or three more.
The big issue for me is that Tucker has slowly gone down in terms of accuracy from over 50. He's getting a lot of long chances, and they are difficult, but he's just slowly not hitting them anymore and that's an issue. Money from inside 50, but you get outside 50 and it's iffy
Yea I get that but I'm willing to bet on him getting that corrected cause his 1st and second season he was money from everywhere.
1 hour ago, BmoreBird22 said:While I personally don't like taking a kicker high, and there are a couple others I'd take higher, a good kicker can ve a huge weapon.
a couple of other kickers or a couple of other players?
3 minutes ago, berad said:Just to clarify, Monroe is a gym rat and I'm sure he's in shape and ready to go. The spamming is annoying, though, I cannot ignore that.
I just wanted to say I'm always a little disappointed when I go into a topic and see a MOD being human, I always fully expect a get back on topic post lol
39 minutes ago, jazz1988 said:Not really sure if it's even clear that Monroe has shown he hasn't been focused on what he's paid to do. He was in a recently cleared to play football and just because he's strongly advocating for cannabis research and for the league to make it legal for marijuana to be use as treatment for players in pain doesn't mean he isn't working out or training everyday.
I'm honestly not worried about his work ethic or anything like that and like I said not even against his cause but it's mostly about him calling the team out. That is what the issue is here.

Thank you I'll be here all week! Don't forget to tip your waitress
1 minute ago, Sami84 said:The ravens should be supporting a players cause, esp if it's a good one. They endorese webbs charity softball event every year. Why not this?
Because the softball game doesn't support a substance banned by the league. Again I wanna make it clear that I'm not saying the Ravens shouldn't support it, but they also have no obligation to and calling them out for it is just a bad move.
1 minute ago, Sami84 said:frankly i think the ravens FO are being the neanderthals here and I support every single tweet Eugene posted. I resonate with it and if the ravens don't well they are in the wrong. Cannabis is a life saving plant and what he's promoting is something the ravens SHOULD be endorsing.
No one here is saying they disagree with what he stands for and what he's pushing for, but there is no need to call out his team like that it does nothing to further his cause.
3 minutes ago, BmoreBird22 said:To be honest, I don't even think he'll see training camp
I mean if he's making statements like this in his mind he think that without a doubt he was already going to be released.
Just now, rmw10 said:Yeah he just keeps digging himself even further into the hole. It's clear he doesn't want to be here. Let him go.
Yea I was fine when he was calling out the NFL in general but to call out his own team it's just shocking, I'd be surprised now if he makes the team.
Just now, BmoreBird22 said:I really like Eugene Monroe, but this is really digging himself a hole.
Yea, I really am hoping he makes the roster and stays healthy but this is no good. I think this even hurting our ability to trade him because no team wants their players to call them out.
1 minute ago, 757RavensFan said:Now this is just stupid of him. I wouldn't have an issue w/ them cutting him now b/c of this dumb comment.
Don't bite the hand that feeds you, ESPECIALLY publically!!
I believe it was @rmw10 who's been saying the relationship is broken and Monroe isn't helping himself at all.

Yeah I think that would be a best case scenario, I'm gonna just trust the doctors on this one, hopefully we'll know by tomorrow.
