And yeah maybe the torrey comparisons can finally end lol
Well I mean Torrey started with dreads and then cut them so wouldn't that be another comparison?
39 minutes ago, January J said:Peace. All I wanna know is does this effect our compensatory pick next year?
I don't think we get a compensatory pick regardless. From my understanding it's from player leaving in FA not getting cut.

Combined with injuries things pertty much self destructed for those Eagles. Think Eugene Monroe had he not been injured and said worse things about the team as opposed to just going on about Mary Jane.
Yea I get the point your making, but if you're basing it off talent alone which I think most are he has to be up there.

Oh you haven't heard? We're all getting together and petitioning for OZ to be fired and for some of the forum members to run the FO.
(Please note the sarcasm)
1 hour ago, BmoreBird22 said:I haven't followed the whole T.O. drama just because I thought he was an idiot, but was it an issue in the field with his teammates or just the F.O.? I know he went out and played in the Super Bowl on a recently broken leg. Something like six weeks, right? That's guaranteed to earn respect.
I count them as well and SSS, for me, has been nothing short of incredible. While I'm not expecting another 2015, I wouldn't be shocked by it just because he's so damn tough and determined. I think he's a dark horse for CPOY.
iirc it was a broken ankle, and that gained a ton of respect from me. I remember one specific play where he caught a ball and was headed to the sideline but the safety was coming at him full speed so he stopped, stiff armed the safety and then walked out of bounds.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA perfect.
Just now, Jacquouille said:If he packs on 10lbs he could be an All Pro OLB!!!
As long as it's fast twitch functional muscle.
He has always had the talent but never been able to stay on the field. I've watched him since he was with the Dolphins, since I do live in Miami, and even then the team felt like he had the talent to be a top notch corner but just couldn't seem to stay on the field. He was to the Dolphins what Camp is to us now.
19 minutes ago, JO_75 said:Pretty much but Houston got the better end of it while Miami got a bad deal.
I think the bad move was letting Miller walk but the Foster deal isn't bad. He only got 400k at signing and 1.5M base deal with incentives that can take it up to 3.5M. I think that's reasonable because if he can stay healthy I think he still has some ability left, and if you feel he can't stay healthy you can cut him before week 1 and no harm no foul all they lose out on is the signing bonus.
12 hours ago, Militant X 1 said:How is that weird? The man was only the face of the franchise for 17 years and has a huge statue of his likeness in front of the stadium. Lol!
Not weird in a bad way just kind of like crazy to think how blessed we've been to have this transcendent talent on the field for us for such a long time.
17 minutes ago, RaineV1 said:I would consider posting someone else, but there literally is no other 52 in Ravens' history.
I'm aware lol sorry not enough sarcasm I guess.
A little weird to think though that 20 years from now when this thread is opened for that new season 52 days will still be Ray Lewis.
Just now, RaineV1 said:The question is, who is going to get to post Ray Lewis tomorrow?
I'm sure we can find another player for 52 days right?
16 minutes ago, BmoreBird22 said:I planned on getting them as soon as they became available. The experience is worth the price to me.
Actually went to the same game last season for my first game at M&T Bank. I paid about the same to sit near the 50 and it was definitely worth the price especially since we won.

Corey Graham was another player who simply wanted to play for a different, specific team, though I don't recall how close our offer was to the Bills'.
and iirc the Ravens had to choose between Grubbs and Yanda so he's not really so much the one that got away, we kind of let him sign elsewhere to keep Yanda.
28 minutes ago, BmoreBird22 said:I'm going to use TicketMaster right at 10:00 because I want to make sure I get the exact seats we want since this will be my first game, but that's a relief to hear that they aren't impossible to come by.
My girlfriend tried that last year and the system kept going down and when she called the hold was eternal, by the time it was actually working all the tickets were sold out. We ended up getting them from Stub Hub I think but we still got great seats!
21 minutes ago, Deflated Football said:I'm going to my first ever NFL game (I live in California and most Bay Area sports fans are intolerable and I don't want to be physically harmed by wearing a Ravens jersey to their venue) in November for Thursday Night Football against Cleveland. My first trip to the east coast also! Couldn't be more excited.
Enjoy it! I made my first trip to the Bank last year, and after going to the stadium here in Miami I can say it's a huge upgrade.
I'm trying to go to Baltimore for the game against Miami. My brother is a huge dolphins fan and we both live in Miami so we're trying to make the trip, and it's usually a pretty close game.

Starting to think Johnny himself made user accounts and is putting feelers out there to see if any fanbase thinks its a good idea, so he can then take it to management like, "see your fans want me... you dont want to upset the fans do you?? Especially not that brilliant one that suggested signing me... hes probably your best fan ever."
Johnny. Get off our boards, please. It is 5 oclock somewhere, and you're running late.
Or his agent? does he even have an agent anymore?
16 minutes ago, BmoreBird22 said:If they could ever just fix the combat system, I'd absolutely play them again, but it's broken.
There is no way I should be able to sit in a crowd of like 10 soliders encircling me and be able to kill them all one by one. They'd just swarm me IRL.
Yea definitely. I used to try to start big fights in each city until I killed all the guards in the city in one sitting.
3 minutes ago, January J said:Shouldn't surprise anybody if he balls out either- goin out with one more 1000 yard season to his resume. I'm cautiously optimistic.
Yea, I feel like if he didn't think he could fully come back from this he would've retired.
2 hours ago, JoeyFlex5 said:Some camp body wr will make big plays against corners that will never see another nfl preseason, and everyone thinks they are the savior of our offense and the #1 wr we have lacked for so long.
Not bold enough?
Bolder prediction when that "savior" gets cut no one on the boards will complain and say Ozzie doesn't know what he's doing.
Sorry this might be way too unrealistic.

It's all good. I think with all our FA signings we are only going to get 1 this year although it should be a 3rd cause of the size of KO's deal
