  1. Can you blame Butler for going to the Tampa Bay "Bucs' practice squad instead of the Ravens?? The guy gave his all and still didn't make the 53 man squad. He deserved it. They keep Campanaro, whom is great "when he plays". But the guy is on the IR again and now apparently won't be used for punt/kick returns, since they brought in Hester for kick/punt returns. I don't think Butler is happy with the Ravens org. right now, and I don't blame him.

Can we get Campanaro and Brooks back? I'm sad. ?

The Ravens have parted with wide receiver  Michael Campanaroicon-article-link.gif , according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Sun. The Ravens will waive Campanaro with an injury designation because of a calf strain that has hindered him throughout the offseason. Injuries have held Campanaro back throughout his NFL career. He has shown promise when healthy, but he has played in just eight games over his first two seasons. The decision to waive Campanaro might not signal the end of his time in Baltimore, as Zrebiec reported the Ravens would like to re-sign him once he’s healthy.

Were they doing 11 on 11 drills? Did you happen to notice if Daniel Brown was out running routes and catching passes? When I hear the term "walk through" I get the notion that while you are running plays, you aren't really running while doing them. You're going half speed at best. Maybe I am wrong and practices are different from what I experienced and at the level I experienced them....though I was never in a walk through. We had full practice, and then film room, full practice, film room. Then a lot of guys stayed after practice.

Defense and offense were lining up.....but I would not call it drill's. It was like they were just tossing the ball around. I saw Daniel Brown out there, but he was not one of the guy's catching any balls. Only guy's doing any running was a couple of receiver's, although I would say it was a jog, not a run. It was a walk through, and a boring one at that....sadly.

seems to me they ALL could have practiced. I doubt if Pitta's finger was so bad he couldn't do a walk thru.

Yep....they weren't even there! It was a snooze fest.......seriously, on these so called "down days" they shouldn't even have fans out there. They were mostly just standing around. No helmets, no scrimmage and Joe didn't even have his knee brace on.  Needless to say I was highly disappointed.

  5. Dialed back the intensity is and understatement here.  Not sure if anyone else went to practice today.....it was very laid back, boring even. Guess I should have been there yesterday, but since we don't get a choice...oh well. The high light of the day was shaking Gov. Larry Hogan's hand. Guess I'm just a little sore since this is twice that I have been broken hearted....and then some.  First time, had to leave early due to weather, and then this. I was SO excited.........we left early.

I missed it back then, too. Here's the forum thread I opened back about a month ago when I first read about it: http://boards.baltimoreravens.com/topic/68982-has-anyone-heard-about-dan-brown-switching-to-tight-end/

IMHO it wasn't really fair to Brown, to be honest: while Waller's switch was all the rage and analysed ad nausem, there was no official announcement of Brown also switching to TE, even the pundits were only guessing by the muscle Brown packed up, and a remark he made...

I look at this site every single day, and I too, somehow missed this. I agree with you, not fair to Brown. He really doesn't stand a chance....not on our team anyway.(Could be wrong....but probably not:mellow:)

Joe didn't grab Derrick M's face mask. I think it was the other way around

    You are correct.

"One of those moments came in the fourth quarter Sunday when Mason got into a fight with quarterback Joe Flacco on the sideline in Charlotte, N.C., at one point grabbing Flacco's face mask."

I wonder if this opens up a door for Waller at WR again.  Because I can't see him making the team at TE.

Also, interesting to see people already saying we won't make the playoffs now because of no Perriman......after spending all last year calling Perriman a bust anyway.  It's really obvious who just likes to complain.

Meanwhile, I'll still pretend we have Mike Wallace, Chris Moore, and another 2+ months to fill in any needed gaps because, well, we do.

I think they will take a closer look at Daniel Brown.....big strong dude with good hands.

I know everyone is commenting on the fact that Joe has his feet up with shoes on.....but something else concerns me. Does anyone notice the size off Joe's left knee compared to the right.

In the first picture you are right...it looks very large.....comically large. Like he would not even be able to walk on that thing. I think it is a fluke though, because if you look at the picture father down, where you can see from behind, it looks normal. Sure hope it's not that large!!
