    Well.....I am proud to say that I am a Joe Flacco fan!! Am I looking thru "purple" colored glasses, drinking the "purple" kool-aide?? You betcha! You know why?? Because HE is the QB of the Baltimore Ravens!! And he ain't going nowhere....despite what many people want/say. Has his mechanics been off? Yes, they have, and so has everyone else's on that scary O-line. Missing Yanda, Stanley, Wagner has had a serious effect on the whole line. I have seen what Joe can do when he has protection, and boy , do I wish it was that way again. Hopefully with the 1st string O-line finally practicing together for the first time in weeks, and guys coming back from injury, will give the offense that much needed boost to get something going....and score in the red zone!! Say what you will. Call me a homer!!! I would much rather be called that than a fair weathered fan!!

Hopefully, the bye will give some time to heal, and adjust. Get some crucial guy's back and make a go at it!! All it not lost!! Let's go Ravens!!!!:229031_cheer:

Not head coach John Harbaugh, not general manager Ozzie Newsome. No one's job is safer than the quarterback's. Based on the new contract the team and player agreed to this offseason, the earliest the Ravens would even be able to discuss the possibility of moving on from Flacco is 2019."
    Joe is not going anywhere! I for one, have seen what Flacco can do when he has a line that can protect him. I hope we can get that back. I want Joe to succeed, and for him to do that the LINE NEEDS TO PROTECT HIM!!!

    This isn't a Purple kool-aid only forum, its a fan forum and everyone has an opinion and is allowed to voice it. If they're on here making statements, they're most likely a fan, otherwise, they probably wouldn't bother. I'm a fan and have been since the Colts played here and have thousands of dollars of memorabilia on my Purple and gold wall with a 15' ravens logo I painted myself. I've worked concessions at both stadiums, go to many of the fund raisers and I've also mowed a 50' "Go Ravens" in my back yard from training camp till first frost for the last 10 years. I also own about a dozen jerseys. If people are upset, that's their right to mention how they see it. More times than not, the masses predict future moves on this team anyway so "Fans" of all types have valid points too, even if they don't agree with you. Stick to statements about the team. "Constructive criticism is fine....but the downright fan bashing doesn't sit well with me!!"
    Saying so doesn't make you "More of a fan" than the rest of us.

    Wow ....did I strike a cord or something??!! I am not fan bashing!!  Just like you said...everyone has their own opinions. Mine is, "it doesn't sit well with me" when a "fan" bashes someone on the team. It's my right to say so, like it's your right to say what you say. Thanks for letting me know what a true fan is.....

    I'm with you! Love my team....no matter what!!  Do I get upset sometimes?? Sure I do, but the Ravens are MY home town team. I would never throw any of the team under the bus, like some so called fans do. Boggles my brain!!!  Constructive criticism is fine....but the downright bashing doesn't sit well with me!! I will now just :IGNORE:them!!!!

    Saw this after 13 weeks of the season last year....Wow :34853_shakehead:, look at all of those green dots!! Saw a few articles stating it was the Patriots, Green Bay for top injuries, not sure how though.  " As BaltimoreRavens.com noted, the Ravens currently have 18 players out for the season (more than any other team in the NFL) including its starting quarterback, plus one more player who is probably out for the season. It all accumulates in more than $50 million in salary cap money — and a 4-9 record. " :blink:

    The reason for less likes/dislikes is because not everyone takes the time to go into the forums. (I believe). Before, you could hit the like/dislike button from the home page, now we can't. Seems like a ghost town compared to what it used to be.:crickets:

    JFYI...It was Justin Forsett last year, not Ray Rice. Also pretty sure Mosley will not do THAT again, he said he learned his lesson!!!

    Plenty of other teams, with less talent are better.

    JAX has the 16th ranked defense and we looked horrible.

    yesterday:
    Perriman, 2 receptions for 22 yards
    Wallace, 3 for 34 years

    That's over 10 yards/reception. Yet the Ravens could only muster 5 catches between the 2 of them?

    Granted Smith and Pitta combined for 14/127

    For an OC with a pass happy reputation, he sure doesn't impress me.
    Flacco 29/40 for 214. 2 INTs, no TDs

    PEDESTRIAN

    I am in no way meaning our team doesn't have the talent. It will just take a little more time.....remember Joe only played like 1 qtr. in pre-season. Give it a little more time.....I have faith in them.......do you???!!!

    It's not just Trestman and his play calls. Trestman basically used Kubiaks offense last year, but I am pretty sure that he has implemented his own starting this year.  Kelechi Osemele  is a HUGE missing link this year, not to mention that Zutta has been playing horribly!! You know something is not right when Yanda has already gotten 4 penalties against him. Is there something wrong with our running game? Yes, there sure is, but IMO it's not just play calling. Just remember what a BEAST K.O was.....he is scary good!!!

    Can I also add "surprising"??!! It was very surprising to see 2 penalties called against Yanda.  Zuttah....not the first time he has botched a snap. Overall, offense showed some promise...just need to clean up some things. They WILL get better!!! Defense; Wow.....they are going to be a force to reckon with. J.Smith needs to step his game up! Did anyone else notice that T.Taylor stopped throwing to S.Wright's side and started passing to Smith's side.....seemed to be a step behind everyone. His last play was good though! I am excited for this team!!!
