  1. The pick is in. I had another player ready to go initially, but I just couldn't pass up Brandan Wright's uncommon athleticism and efficiency. He was outstanding as a finisher in the P&R, in transition and on offensive rebounds. He's also developed a decent jumper and his defense improved last season. He was played at the five more than he should have, which didn't help the matters. He's likely reached his ceiling, but he won't be more than a reserve. With he and Kendall Marshall coming off the bench, the two could make for a dangerous P&R combination.

Good pick. Wright has turned out to be a pretty solid player in  Dallas.

  2. I like Parsons, but he's not worth that much money.  The Rockets would be better off holding off and trying to snag a guy next year.

I agree. But the problem is that you would be wasting a year of Howards prime. And he would probably remember that for 2016. I think they will match, but it's not an easy decision

  3. No problem. I was initially torn on whether to select him or D.J. Augustin before setting my sights on Vasquez. Both players were able to score efficiently in the paint, the mid-range and beyond the arc. Both were solid passers, and each wasn't too shabby on the defensive end. I consider Vasquez to be the better passer, however, and while Augustin is lightning quick, having a 6'6 PG would've been enticing. I think I speak for both of us when I say that a dependable back up PG is an important asset.

I agree. I was considering Augustin too. So you picked up a solid player IMO.

  4. nice pick with Jonas V

Very good pick by Geving. I had hopes Jonas would be available for my next.

I'm here. The pick will be in shortly. Good pick in Jonas Valanciunas, by the way.

Thanks, it was important for me to get some good depth in my frontcourt considering I invested such a high pick on Embiid. When he comes back, I think I have a great frontcourt for years in Favors, Embiid, Jones and Valanciunas.

  5. I have, believe me. He's a good athlete and he has good offensive skills, but his defense was awful all season long. It was a gigantic problem in the playoffs. He's just an average starter imo. Houston is actually trying to upgrade him with Bosh.

Lol. The dude is 22 years old. Has fantastic ballskills and hands. His handles are amazing. He can run and jump with the best of them. He earned a starting role for a playoff team and has shown unlimited potential on the offensive end at 21 years of age. Average starter? Ok, but again, he's an average starter in the NBA when he's 22. That's pretty good in my eyes. You are right about his defense though. He needs to improve on that end.

  6. How do you feel about paying that much for Shaw? He's talented but that price tag is ridiculous.

Don't know about arnie. But I think it's fine. On the one side the amount is ridiculous. But on the the other side you have to pay a premium for english players we all know that, he's probably the best young left back in the world, and you get a player for 15 years since he's only 18. It's a lot, but worth it imo.
