  1. Revis trade is under review by the coco.

Why? I asked several people about this, including Andrew who was in charge of the SOF and cap stuff, they all said the same. The rules say that it's cap hit-dead money for me, base salary for the taker. And he was fair game for everybody, for several days, and nobody said anything. I don't care if its a loophole, I'm the Patriots, and it's legit.

  2. So the Warriors, sweeped the Rockets this year. Still believe any team in the WC can beat eachother. But I unfortunatelåy feel that the Rockets are pretenders atm and not contenders. The Warriors certainly look like a terrible matchup atleast. Would like to meet the Spurs, Grizz, OKC or Blazers before the Warriors.

  3. Lmao..offense doesn't run through ZBo? Wrong on so many levels

Just start educating someone else with your non biased thoughts

    Lol, seriously?

Where did I say that they don't run their offense through ZBo? Of course there are plays run through him. There are many plays run for him in their offense. But your statement, one of the many many hyperboles that I read in this thread all the time was that the ENTIRE offense run through ZBo. That is why I brought up Gasols and Conleys usage rate and this is why there is no point in trying to have an intellectual discussion in this thread. Because you amongst others will try to back up your points with bull or deflect other peoples arguments with crap like this. It's like trying to talk sense to a three year old. It's a shame, but it's too soon, so I'm gonna drop it from now on.

  4. They lead series 2-1... First game was quite fun

Howard was fine.. He never does much in this matchup.. Always in foul trouble

Harden is great for key steals and blocks but his man defense is still below average.. He's a hustler now which is good enough to get him MVP nods

Jones is a loss for the team but not anywhere on the level that ZBo is for memphis..

The entire offense runs through ZBo.. Huge difference when it causes Tayshaun prince to play 30 minutes

Houston is definitely a better team than past years and one of the deepest teams in the league but I still see turnovers and shooting % being an issue in the playoffs

Just my opinion.. Could end up being completely wrong

Yeah, Howard usually doesn't light up the Grizzlies. But he usually keeps Gasol at his knees. This game he didn't. So no, he wasn't fine. And no, he doesn't always get in foul trouble in this matchup. That's a lie.

The entire offense doesn't run through ZBo. How about Gasols 25 percent usage rate, or Conley's 23 percent usage rate. Another hyperbole.

You don't think Howard, Jones and Beverley was sorely missed in the 2nd game? The game they won in a blowout. Didn't have Smith, Brewer or Shved at that time either. Not exactly a deep team when you had to start Tarik Black, give significant minutes to Nick Johnson, Francisco Garcia and Joey Dorsey. What's your excuse for that? Give credit where it's due. Don't come up with lame excuses.

I'm gonna drop into this thread to educate y'all every now and then. But this is why I'm not going to have a serious discussion on this board about basketball. I'll leave that to another board. Only fanboy opinions and comments based on fabrications to support them. You're too colored.

  5. Respect to harden.. He's still playing well enough on the defensive end and is playing MVP levels everywhere else

Obviously no ZBo completely changes memphis' whole offensive philosophy so didn't really bother me that they lost..

ZBo would've eaten Josh smith's lunch instead of him acting like Josh smith from 5 years ago like he did

Houston's deep though but same as Portland... Just gotta hope they don't get crazy hot from 3

Harden got a key block on Allens layup in crunch time. He's stepped up with great defense in the clutch countless times this year. Legit MVP candidate this year.

Funny that you say so. I think ZBo would've had a tough time guarding Josh Smith the way he drove the ball yesterday. Played well for his first game, and stepped up when Howard had a stinker. ZBo might've bullied Smith on offense though.

But the Rockets are far from full strength themselves. Howard is still getting his legs back after being out for a long time. Brewer, Shved and Smith are all brand new to the team. And Jones who played great as a starter at the beginning of this season has been out for a long time. Didn't stop them from grinding it out though. Not yesterday and not the last time these teams met.

  6. I like that the Wizards are emerging as a good team. I'm pulling for them and the Raptors in the east this year. But I just can't take them or the eastern conference seriously. Come playoff time, I think all 8 teams from the west will be stronger than the best team from the east.

I think the Warriors, Blazers, Grizzlies, Rockets, Mavs, Spurs, Thunder and the Clippers would all beat the best team in the east in a seven game series.

The Wizards could become a threat in a few years if Wall and Beal continue to get better and they build a good supporting cast around them.

  7. I've just been checking the Champions League at the end of Group Stage, and I see that Manchester City have made the Round of 16.

Does anyone like their chances, and if so, how far do you think Man City will go?

They will probably be eliminated by Barca next round. But they can beat any team on a good day.

  8. I'd assume he would come off the bench?

Not sure. With TJones out for most of the season so far with that virus, not sure when he will be back. He might steal the starting PF spot from D-Mo. I think D-Mo has grown in to a very solid starter lately, with a really high ceiling. So I hope Smith comes off the bench, but you never know with McHale as your head coach.
