Howard isn't that good, at least he hasn't been the past couple seasons. Definitely not a top 10 player u less he has a massive bounce back. I would take Westbrook and Durant over Harden.
Durant sure, but I would definitely take Harden over Westbrook. And no matter how you spin it, when you factor in defense, Howard is a top 10 player imo. About 20 points, 12-14 rebounds, 2-3 blocks per game and altering a lot of shots outside of that. He played injured in a system he hated with a ballhogging shootfirst player he didn't get along with. He will bounce back. And his stats doesn't even put justice to the impact he has on ballgames. My 2 cents anyway
No other team has the elite talent that the Thunder have. 2 legitimate top 10 players including the 2nd best player by far in the league and a 3rd guy who could probably be the best player on 10 other teams. I'm slightly concerned about the supporting cast around Durant, Westbrook and Ibaka, but those 3 alone should be good for 75-80 points a night. No other team except maybe Miami can come close to that. It's not like they are bad defenders either.
Harden and Howard (when healthy and happy) are top 10 players. Asik is a great defender and rebounder, Parsons is one of the leagues up and coming SF's. Beverley is fantastic on the defensive end as well. This team can run, score and defend. We just have to wait and see. But I wouldn't count out any of the teams I mentioned. The West will be tight IMO, but I have huge expectations for the Rockets this year.
The West is the Thunder's to lose.
The Thunder are a contender sure. But saying that the West is theirs to lose just isn't the case. The West are pretty stacked with the Spurs, Thunder, Rockets, Clippers, Grizzlies and Warriors. I still like the Rockets chances though.
LOL Dwight sucks and Jeremy Lin is a joke. They have James Harden and that's it.
Ummm guys, what's happening in LA right now? I'm legitimately confused...
Ok, you have watched a lot of basketball I see. Ever heard of Chandler Parsons? Asik? Beverley? Tjones? Donut? The whole team is young and will improve from last season.
Dwight is happy and healthy, Lin will be coming off the bench as a spark plug. Sucks and a joke? Ah, a bitter Laker fan. Nevermind.
Y'all are sleeping on the Rockets. NBA finals this year will be the Rockets vs the Heat. I'm calling it right now.
Rockets are ready for takeoff! Can't wait!
Even though you're the Norwegian, I am going to have to differ about Headhunters being your best film in recent years. I liked Headhunters. But in terms of recent Norwegian films I liked Oslo, August 31st and Kon-Tiki more.
And how can you forget about Norwegian Ninja?!?!?
Totally different movies though. Kon-Tiki was a very good movie, loved it. But I like movies like Headhunters more and thought it was excellent. Not often that action/thriller movies from Norway are that good and make it outside of Norway, but Headhunters was one of the better ones in many years and was pretty big outside of Norway too.
Added to Netflix queue lol. Just watched Deuces Wild last night with Norman Reedus and Stephen Dorff. Not too bad. OMG did I just see Erkel in the sequel? LOL
Oh yeah. Making a leap to fame once again.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau! Do you watch Game of Thrones?
I know it's great, everybody says so. But I'm not really into fantasy series and movies. So no. Great actor though
Nope. There have been some great Danish films recently, like Teddy Bear & In a Better World.
I'd recommend headhunters then. Best norwegian movie to come out in years. You should check it out
How would you characterize Norge cinema and how does it compare to other Scandinavia cinema?
About the same as the other scandinavian movies. Did you see headhunters? That was a pretty good one.
You a big fan of our cinema?
Big movie fan, but I don't go to the cinema too often. Maybe once or twice a month, depending on what movies that are out.
How long do you have to wait for American movies to hit Norge theatres?
Two or three weeks I think. Different for different movies I think.
I watched Scary Movie 2 in the wee hours of this morning. My friend and I are gonna have a bad movie double feature tomorrow. Gonna start off with Sharktopus and finish off with Sharknado. Also thinking of checking out Olympus Has Fallen on that there onDemand.
Megashark vs Giant Octopus is a must. And if you like it, like I'm sure you will. The sequel Megashark vs Crocosaurus is also 10/10.
I love the Jed Collins pick. One of the more underrated FBs, in my opinion.
He was going to be my back up pick at FB after Casey, nice pick.
Thanks a lot
Nice pick with collins.
Thanks
My last pick is in. And pm is sent to Th3Raven
I wasnt planning on it, just because it will take some time to do that. If any team wants I to do so I can. I will start with your team since you asked.
I really liked your team, as you can tell from the ranking. I feel like it is very well balanced all around. You have a solid if not spectacular OL. Davis is an elite RT and I like your guards a lot. Hardwick and Dunlap are solid players as well. You have an excellent young QB and you provided him with good, veteran, receiving options and a very potent rushing tandem.
On defense your team should have an elite pass-rush between Suh and Dunlap, and you have some very good run defenders up front as well. Shaun Phillips is our of position IMO, but I really like Foster and and Burnett. Your secondary is also very strong with Joseph as a #1 CB and one of the best safeties in the game with Earl Thomas. Corey Graham is a solid #2 CB and Kirkpatrick could become a very good player.
Not many, if any, weaknesses on this team. I think the biggest weakness is a lack of speed on offense, but your WRs are experienced and should be able to get open for Luck.
Thanks for the analysis and for taking the time to make the rankings.
Have to agree on everything you said right there. Both positives and negatives. Sanders is fast, and could potentially fill that role, but I agree that's a bit of a weakness. Dunlap is the weakness on my line imo, and that should be a priority in a hypothetical future..
Same with Shaun Philips, he is slated to take this role in Denver's scheme right now in place of Von. But I agree with him being out of position based on his past. He's a bit of an question mark. John Fox has been talking him up, on how he can stay with TE's in coverage, but I'm a bit skeptical. I guess we will see this season, at least when Miller's suspended. Another priority for the future.
Thanks again.
Just to explain why your team ranked where they did.
Will there be some kind of in-depth analysis for each team?
I'm curious to read about the strength and weaknesses of each team, and especially mine of course.
my top 3 as it stands at the moment would be Geving's, ravensdan's, gabe's
and yeah my team's a bit better than 21st
Thanks a lot. It varies from person to person of course. And I have no problem being 7th at all, a lot of these teams look really good on paper. But I'm happy that people think my team is good so thanks for the compliment.
Cheer up good fellow. You were 7.
Teams in the top 10 are all formidable.
I'm just kidding. I'm happy with my rankings.
The Decatur Menaces not in the top 5....
I have Grim's pick but I can't post the picture from mobile. I can send someone the link to the picture and they can post it if someone wants to post it.
I can do it

Wow. Michael Carter Williams has looked INCREDIBLE in his first game. Against the Heat nonetheless. 22 points, 7 rebs, 12 assists and 9 steals! Wow.
And the Sixers beating the Heat. Didn't see that one coming.
