  1. Kerrigan was a mid-1st rounder and has lived up to the hype so far. Brown is perpetually injured, but I do understand trying to get RG3 more targets. I just don't see enough value there for you, especially considering Kerrigan's production combined with the fact that he is still relatively cheap on his rookie deal.

Brown broke his ankle in 2012, he was fine this year. Not a big deal. He's a young and talented receiver.

I actually think it was a solid deal for both teams. Kerrigan is certainly a talented pass rusher, but I've seen him get washed out in the running game. He has a tendency of losing the ball carrier at the LOS in attempt to penetrate the backfield. Brian Orakpo being retained gave Washington the flexibility to move him, and they did so for an early selection, a later one, and a WR who showed quality potential before a disappointing 2012 campaign. Meanwhile, San Diego finally gets a quality edge rusher capable of staying on the field.

Obviously I agree, since I made the trade. I like Kerrigan a lot. And him being a first rounder living up to expectations was one of my arguments when he was inquired about. But the Redskins have a lot of holes, and garnering an early selection, a late rounder and a talented receiver can fill the team with some depth, gives me an opportunity to make it overall stronger imo. Good trade for both sides imo. So thanks for a little support atleast. lol.

  2. I read somewhere that the actual NFL rule on June 1st cuts is that teams are allowed 2.  I still think we should've given the Cowboys an extra one or some other kind of considerations, but it's too late now.

Yeah, I just looked at their roster on spotrac. That's just brutal with all the dead money attached to a lot of guys
