He isnt soft, not even a little bit. He is undersized and his strength is pretty proportional to his size, and he plays with a high motor and a hard nose. Undersized =/= soft.

Also, genetics absolutely play a factor, to say otherwise is just plain ignorance.

And lastly, cut him some slack, he's a 20 year old student athlete and he played for a team that does a horrible job prepping players for the next level. He needs guidance and coaching, like 99.9% of 20 year old rookies do, he hasn't had much of it yet and I'd say he's doing alright considering the fact.

Sigh... This isn't worth my time.

People always talk about correa being small, but polynesians typically don't have trouble bulking up. Its just in their genetics, Polynesian athletes tend to be on a different level in terms of physical growth.

Obviously it's not a 100% thing as I'm sure there are Polynesian players who are undersized and stay that way, but it's part of a reason to think He can bulk up.

If it's so easy for polynesians to bulk up or they are on a different level in terms of physical growth, why isn't Correa bigger already? It would've helped him immensely to be stronger.

Genetics have nothing to do with it. Lift like you mean it and eat a lot of clean food, get bigger. Nothing with being polynesian, chinese, french or american.

Correa is soft and week, and he needs to put the work in. Only time will tell if he does.

Just look at how explosive he is off the line and remember he's a 20 year old Polynesian coming from a team that is horrible at coaching defensive players.

Then think of the potential and how badly we needed explosiveness in the edge rush...

You keep bringing up Polynesian. As if that is supposed to matter. Weird.

Spineless is a bit harsh, but I think it's apparent that van Gaal is not the ticket to return to the glory days of SAF. I miss the team that always played with flair and urgency and was never counted out until the final whistle was blown.

Harsh? Have you seem them play? How can you turn up to the biggest game of the season and be bullied like that? 20 shots for West Ham, 3 for United. West Ham!

The last three years have been a travesty. United needs to get some winners back in the team with a ruthless coach. Robson, Cantona, Keane, Scholes, Vidic and so on would never lay down like this United team does time after time. And then you have Van Gaal who's a complete buffoon on the sidelines with his pen and paper. It's ridiculous. Need a complete makeover from top to bottom, from the board down to the coach down to the players.

Interesting......... and an extremely obscure connotation I think. I have friends from the UK that are Red Devil fans and use the term Man U regularly. Not sure this has survived into the 21st century. I'd be interested to get a read from our UK friends on these boards.

Not obscure at all. Songs about Munich and using Man U in a derogatory manner are used by opposition fans all the time and is very much alive today. It should be common knowledge for United fans, but I don't blame fans of other teams for not knowing it and it's probably even harder to know if you're not from the UK. Many United supporters from my country use "Man U", but it's a pet peeve of mine when people use it.

  6. What a terrible draft! Not renewing my gamepass for next year. What is wrong with Ozzie lately?

You'd expect Stanley at #6 to turn out to be a great pro, but I'm not so sure about it.

Passing on Jack and Spence to pick up some mid rounders and end up with KC is a huge mistake.

Day three wasn't bad. Might be a gem or two in between them, but that's hard to say. I expect impact players and playmakers in round one and two though. Hope they prove me wrong, but I believe this draft was a major bust.

We need playmakers for [profanity deleted] sake.
