  1. He was great in 2012, but got burned really bad in a couple of games this year. But he's a playmaker, terrific athlete and only 21. He needs to be coached up and show consistency and discipline. But his potential is through the roof IMO. Not a safe pick, but I obviously beileve in the kid.
  2. With the 36th pick of the NFL Forum Mock Draft, the Washington Redskins selects.... Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio St.
  3. Trade: Washington Redskins: 2nd round (34), 3rd round (66) and 4th round (98) Chicago Bears: 2nd round (36) and 2nd round (49)
  4. Washington Redskins are entertaining offers to trade down from 34 (2nd pick in the 2nd round)
  5. Great pick, I tried to trade up to get him in the last minute. But he said he had already made a deal, so he didn't want to entertain my offer. Sucks for me, bad for him and great for you lol.
  6. Sent you a pm
  7. Any reports on interest in Montgomery or De La Puente? Hope we will sign one of these guys
  8. Nice. Hopefully this draft will pick up the pace soon. With everybody trying to trade down, I bet there isn't a huge market for it right now. I hope people don't loose interest.
  9. Hope this doesn't affect our draft. We still should add to the core in this years loaded WR draft class in the first couple rounds. But atleast this pushes Jacoby down on the depth chart So welcome Steve!
  10. Yeah, the media is hyping Blake. But I gotta say, he's starting to live up to that hype. I think he has elevated his game to a whole new level this year. I've been highly critical of Blake and all the attention he has gotten, but he has turned in to a great player. He carried that team and elevated his game when Chris Paul was out, I thought he was going to shrivel. Gotta give props when it's due. Can't stand his face though.
  11. Replacing is much better. I'd rather give guys like Mellette a chance as our #3/4. Go at Steve Smith, Edelman, draft one or two receivers. I've seen what Jacoby can do, and that's far from enough. I've never said anything about replacing Pitta. Pitta is great. Jacoby could've been shown the door, just like Dickson and Clark. Now replace the bums with someone that has potential.
  12. But he's not a solid #3. Far from it. I would've prefered to used the money elsewhere. That's all.
  13. Yes, and the offense transformed when Jacoby and Pitta came back. And Rice got healthier. Leaves us kind of thin don't you think? The offense was in shambles and absolutely pathetic all year. Some because of injuries. But mostly because of talent. And if you don't see that, then you simply are blind.
  14. Lol, you are delusional. That's one of those plays that I was talking about. Cool that you remember that one. Good job.
  15. Bringing up receiving stats on Jacoby is completely irrelevant. Everybody is calling Jacoby a "playmaker". Lol. Jacoby is a terrible receiver and you wouldn't want him to be a part of your receiving core at all besides being a WR4 or 5 backup. Legitimate chance for him to go all the way for a touchdown every time he has the ball in his hands? Yes, on kickoffs. Not as a receiver. Come on people. People only remember a couple of plays. Not his overall play. You would actually want him to be our third again this year? That means Torrey#1, Marlon#2 and Jacoby#3. And everybody complained that the receiving core was abysmal and the passing attack was a nightmare last year. Logic, that would be the same core as last year. He can dance and run. That's it. Don't sugarcoat it. I'm sure the FO makes more moves, so I'm not too worried. He won't be a #2 nor #3, X player from FA or the draft and Marlon should be in front of him on the depth chart anyways. So it's all good. People should just know that we are paying a returner only this money, not a receiver. And that returner could've been cheaper or found in the draft. This is money that could've been spent on Daryl, Clemons, Brian DLP or whoever. I'm out.
  16. Like I've said, it's not that bad of a contract. But he's worth the vet minimum. Not a penny more. So many big plays? TD week in week out? Hilarious. Watch a full season of Ravens ball before you say that. Yes, the mile high miracle and the couple of plays in the superbowl was awesome. But it doesn't change the fact that he's an abysmal receiver that you can't rely on when he's on the field. In my mind, for a guy that can only be a kick returner/situational deep threat who's turning 30, it should be vet minimum. I don't want to see Jacoby out there on the field besides kick returns and 3rd and 20 with 44 seconds left trailing by 7. The point is, Jacoby is an abysmal receiver who was part of an abysmal wide receiver group last year. By drafting a guy like Beckham, that many of you are clamoring, who has ability as an returner too. What the hell is the point of having Jacoby then? Could've so easily been replaced and upgraded through the draft or getting someone even cheaper in FA.
  17. Agree 100%. This contract wasn't that bad, but it should've been less since you can't rely on Coby to be anything more than a kick returner/situational deep threat.
  18. Lol. Scratch punt returnere and deep threat and I can agree with you. He's a great kick returner. But that's it. Can't rely on him on more than that.
  19. Not too bad, but still a little too much imo...
  20. If he's expensive, I will loose my mind. I love Jacoby as a person and as a returner. But he offers next to nothing as a receiver. He's a home run threat, but I hope we don't see him on the field much outside of returning kicks.
  21. Good pick in Barr. Didn't think he would last until pick 9. Definitely didn't think Mosley and Ebron would be picked before him.
  22. Seriously?
