Get real man, weren't you the one that said we were going to lose by over 20? We were literally one 4th down away from victory with pretty much our entire team injured. Its so obvious your not a real fan of this team I don't know why I keep feeding you.

This is almost the exact same thing you posted last year. In fact, everything you post sounds  pretty much like the same thing over and over again. Anyone who doesn't agree with you or posts something negative about the team is either a troll or simply just not a Ravens fan.

If walking around with blinders on repeating the same old blather about injuries and whatever other excuse you keep pulling out of your pocket year after year defines being a Ravens fan in your eyes then perhaps you need glasses. Often times a person is significant in their own eyes but certainly others do not see the same thing as you. I am thankful for that. You refuse to see the writing on the wall and instead attach your reality to the clouds in the sky.

How is that workin for you last couple years?

Seriously, please. No he isn't running straight man but he also isn't rushing 3 or 4 all game either. He mixes up his coverages throughout the game and even in zone the cushions are not as deep. Any opposing team knows they can drop back and take all the time they need to find someone open because Pees isn't going to call any sort of blitz at that point of the game.

Bottom line - he has zero creativity. He's more predictable than the hands on a clock. That doesn't mean everything he does is bad, in fact, he generally calls up decent game plans - he just throws them away when it matters most and relies on coverages we don't execute well and inserts cushions that make it too easy for teams to just march down into position.

Bend but don't break relies on not breaking and the stats show we break way more often than we bend with the game on the line.

I actually believe he is doing a better job this year being down on the field. Communication is better, whether that is solely Weddle or him being on the field, we dont' know for certain, and I think during the game necessary adjustments happen more often. I'm aware the offense isn't doing them any favors and the pass rush is weak, but seriously, we shouldn't have to hope every time the offense takes a late lead that the opponent scores quickly so the offense has another shot at the win because we KNOW the opponent is going to score.

It's one thing to be a fan and I applaud your enthusiasm but it's another thing entirely too put hype out there for a team that is simply awful. Some of the so-called fans on this site would be better served by standing up and saying I've had enough of this mediocre football in Baltimore. We should be saying what happened to " playing like a Raven". We should be saying " this is looking more and more like the Brian Billick era after he won the SB".  All great movements have started from a single thought and a single step. If we yell loud enough they will have to do something. Get Har-Ball out of Baltimore and lets get Kyle Shanahan or Josh McDaniels while we can.

Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it !

No. Unless for whatever reason Bill has a stroke and fires him and we can hire him as OC I don't want him anywhere near my team.

As for this... Same point as last year... THE FANS HAVE NO FREAKING POWER. And I'm glad about it.

That's in Biscotti's hands, not ours. When you finally figure it out give me a call.

Do they have phones in your world? What you don't seem to understand is-- This is a business. And business is based on winning. and if you don't win it's bad for business. Try to grab this concept- Win and your job is secure-lose and you will be shown the door!!!

mmkay wizard. So apparently the fans handle personnel now.

It's business not personal. This is a business and  losing is bad business.!

And LMAO and Haha--OBJ had 225 yards receiving-more than all of our WRs combined-I call that a blowout no matter what the final score is. Get a grip dude.

And I was wrong, no blowout. We didn't lose but I changed it to a loss after the firing. I said I COULD SEE US WINNING. Different than predicting a win.

    Nice try though

Whatever makes you feel better is fine with me. I reviewed some of your post as far back as last year. I gotta be honest-I applaud your continured Raven support but but unless people like you begin to see that John Harbaugh is the problem here the problem will never be never be solved. As I said John Harbaugh will not be the coach here in Baltimore again next year. Open your eyes and see the future. I have and it's much brighter with Kyle Shanahan or Josh McDaniels.

Didn't you promise we would get blown out of this game?

Are you kidding? We did get blown out. The Giants plowed overs us again and again. Maybe my score prediction wasn't dead on accurate but it doesn't mean I was totally inaccurate either but it doesn't matter. You on the other hand ( as usual ) predicted nothing that came true. With all your hoopla and hype you are consistently wrong about everything you post.  I hope you are on the same train outta Baltimore with Harbaugh. You 2 can ride off into the sunset and find some other team to ruin.

  7. I'm telling all you so-called Ravens fans something. If you were really Ravens fans you would stand up and say enough of John Harbaugh. Know something everyone one of you and know it well - John Harbaugh will NOT be the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens next year. Again he will NOT be the head coach of our team  !! I PROMISE YOU THAT !

I expect this to be another low scoring game. I really think the Giants pull this one off by a score of 20-9. I don't think Flacco improves under Marty. He's just getting a hang of his offense even though Marty has been his QB coach 2 yrs. Contrary to my original expectations where I really believed Flacco will blossom into an elite play caller in his 9th season as a pro, but the first 5 games have proven he isn't close yet. He'll break through eventually, but when that is I can't predict. I don't know if we are going to be lucky enough to be a wild card team this year or even lucky enough to not have a consecutive losing season, but I know this much. Our passing offense led by Flacco is flailing and the coaches aren't smart enough to call running plays. We'll see what happens but I advise others to temper their expecations for the 2016 Ravens. It'll just keep you from dying a slow death.

Now actually this is an optimistic post. It's true %110. Our squad is full of underachievers. We lack talent at most positions or have any depth. Playing like a Raven is only a saying from the past. You are right we are kind of flailing along and the only real change that will lead us down a new path is cleaning out the current regime. It's the only way. Sometimes you just have to start over and hit the reset button!

I actually like Marty's personality and animation as he spoke with passion.  Very different from Trestman.

Forsett and Trestman have fallen on the sword as part of the reasons for the Ravens offensive woes now it is up to these boys to put it all together and play well from here on out.  I think that they want to do that for themselves of course and for Marty.  To beat the Giants in New York after they dropped 2 home games would be a HUGE boost to their confidence going forward.  Tough task I know but I believe that as a offensive player watching a O.C. get fired because of your piss poor offensive game play is tough on the psyche as well and that they realize no one's job is safe!  Better get after it then!

P.S. I'm still pissed over how this offense has looked the past 5 weeks but against the Deadskins in particular!

    GO RAVENS!!

I'm with you rather be pissed off than pissed on !

  10. Based upon the injury report I am revising my prediction for this game which I rarely do. No way we can score 21 points and no way we can stop the NYG 3-headed monster. 31-9 Giants. If we can't score 14 points at home how can we score 10 points on the road. Injuries are killing us but it only goes to show we have no quality depth at any position. It's not about the next man up around here it's more about OMG who is the next man down.

C'mon now Wiz!  I loved Marty's interview.  He seems to have a high energy personality and temperament in comparison to Trestman's monotone and stoic personality.  I hope his confidence, enthusiasm and high energy is transferred over to the Ravens offense in their game play on Sunday and beyond.

You have to admit I'm kinda right on this one but maybe we need a Goober around here if nothin else than to give us a few laughs. We are gonna need them after the debacle coming up in New York. I'm going to revise my previous prediction of a 31-21 win by the Giants. ( See Next Up thread )

I'm just glad that this horrendous and embarrassing loss to the Redskins came before our bye week.  I couldn't take it if that loss came the week before the bye and had to sit on us for 2 weeks.  I still got a bad taste from it and today is Thursday.  Smh!

At least they get to play on Sunday and hopefully right the ship against the Giants.

    Gotta think positive right?

Pure speculation and entirely false. Lol your talkin like were 1-4 or somethin. If we go below .500 he will still get another year. After that if things don't turn around I think they will mutually part ways .but I wouldn't be too worried about that. I know you desperately want him out of here but I think you better get used to him stickin around for another 5 or 6 years.

I'm not even slighty concerned. He will never last another 5 or 6 years. We are going to have another losing year this year. I am %100 sure of that. I just wish I could have the same degree of certainty that this is the last year of Har-Ball.
