  1. I feel like the "top" draft picks being gone when the Ravens are on the clock is just par for the course. Drafting in the 20's that player is always gone. They've often "settled" for a top 5 player in a given position.
  2. Calling someone a bust before their first season of their rookie contract is ridiculous! Some of ya'll are insane. Would you rather him go out there and be 80-90% and also risk further (and potentially worse) injury? Or would you like them to take it easy and get the most out of a "healthy" Perriman for his remaining time with the Ravens? I'd rather have a player that is as healthy as possible personally. If team doctors haven't cleared them I trust their judgement.
  3. Waller is ahead of the game from where they probably thought he'd be when they drafted him. He's getting a lot of pub, so he has to make the 53 this year. He's grown so much in this short time...I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is his floor...who knows how high his ceiling is.
  4. I don't think you can put Streeter and Waller in the same category. I can't remember ever hearing Streeter and catch radius/good hands in the same sentence. Many "pundits" say Waller has hands and a good catch radius.
  5. Pitt's secondary - Shamarko 5'9, Allen 6'1, Webb 5'11, Gay 5'10. Hopefully the Raven wide outs will have some field days against them.
  6. I know I may be letting some homer made purple kool aid overflow, but I'm loving the prospect of the Ravens receiving corp this year. I can't say I've felt the group has had this much potential.
  7. I don't know that the team will cut Waller as Hensley is predicting. He would have to absolutely fail in my opinion for that to happen. He has too much upside to try to sneak him on to the PS. They (and a lot of media) already talks about how impressive he is. I almost feel like Brown, Aiken and Butler are the same "type" of WR. I'd see Butler getting the short end of that stick before Waller. Waller's size/speed is what gives him an edge.
  8. It's all in the past. Who knows how our team would do now with Bryant. If we drafted him we wouldn't have picked Torrey...may not have picked up Jacoby. That one move could have cost our team's 2nd Super Bowl win. Now on the other hand we may have more than one... If Bryant did pan out with us then our cap could be in jeopardy now, or our team could be held hostage like Dallas is currently. Did I want the move back in the day for Bryant? Heck yes I did. I was in the camp that Ray and Reed could mend all knuckleheads. Am I happy with our team now? Heck yeah. I trust Ozzie. He's earned that trust.
  9. As much as the Lee Evans drop hurts...I'm not of the mindset of "It could have led to consecutive Super Bowl appearances for the Ravens" Had this been the 2nd AFC game I'd think otherwise. Who knows if Ray would have stepped away after winning that SB. The team may have gotten complacent. It's hard to get to consecutive SBs. I think the reason the 2nd SB run was so special was because of the heartache that drop caused. The way it ultimately played out could be a Disney movie.
  10. Who is a happy guy? This guy!Got this e-mail:"As a THANK YOU for working through the entire Outlook experience, ALL IT PERSONNEL employed by the Firm as of 1/31/2012 get a free day off. YES, you read that correctly--you get a FREE DAY OFF."Its nice when your department on a global level recognizes the hard work you've put into a "rollout"

  15. "The self defense law isn't the problem. Every concealed weapons permit class instructor I've heard says that yes, you have a right to defend yourself with lethal force, but you will still be subjected to the rule of law. If the law determines that you stepped outside the boundaries of self defense and your actions were not justifiable, then you can be charged as a murderer. The instructors say that if you cannot accept the fact that you may be subjected to this, then you don't carry a gun. P...
