I can't tell if what you're saying is sarcasm! I think it is lol. That movie sums up Hollywood for me. Bunch of rich people get together to have fun doing their own thing and all it comes down to is three things in my mind: how much effort the actors/ directors put into it, the budget, and the amount of years spent to make it. I don't feel like any actors take movies seriously anymore and I don't blame them. The directors probably look at the script and say "wow, this is exactly like the movie I just produced a couple years ago". Just look at Grown Ups. Someone told me it was one of the biggest letdowns ever. It had the actors, but now a days, it seems like actors don't really matter anymore since you know what to expect and you expect more coming to the table. I could go on forever. What would probably come next explaining my major dislike for remakes. I expect a few people to relate with me. I don't plan on seeing a movie until the next Dark Knight. I will see the next Austin Powers though. To be honest, if Will Ferrell makes a new movie and it somewhat catches my interest, I'm down to see it. He owes me for Talladega Nights and I owe him for not seeing Semi Pro. The last great movie I've seen was The Other Guys than I just stopped seeing movies. I didn't see many movies in the recent years before it. A movie has to really appeal to me now a days and usually I will go to the late night ones. I hardly ever rent movies although I have a few that I haven't bought yet that I pretty much need to buy.
