  1. How about the 18 players on IR at yrs end not much lower than 21 last 2 yrs.
  2. I have long been a fan & supporter of John Harbaugh but with this move he has linked his fate with Marty Mornhinweg what a bone head move. He is Rex Ryan like in his loyalty to his coordinators as Rex is to players (See todays Yardbarker). Marty should be gone as there are plenty of better candidates available. Pees is on the Hot seat and I wouldn't mind if he was gone also. I know we are talking about a person's job but their poor performance especially in the Bengals game says it all. I don't know what the GM & owner are doing but if they signed off on this they signed off on another bad yr in 2017. Someone over there better get their act together.
  3. Garrett Reynolds played (s) for the Rams what's up who was the real player if it was Reynolds when was he signed
  4. What was the corresponding roster move?
  5. The name of the college before it was changed to McDaniel was Western Maryland College not Westminster College
  6. Obviously some of Steve Smith's negative stats are a function of the QB that he had and at those times he was great in spite of them. Additionally, he is a player in a time when the rules changed late in his career to favor the WR. Some of these reporters who put some of today's young players and taller ahead of him like Julio Jones Antonio Brown & AJ Green are not judging using equalizing criteria. Anyone who can't see he's a HOF receiver needs to turn in their press credentials.
  7. I think it might have been prudent to hold on to him thru training camp as an injury on the Ravens or another team could have enhanced his value to either ther Ravens or another team needing an OT due to injury. That being said I am not privy to all the reasons and effect of getting other contracts eg. Tucker signed.
  8. Kamar Aiken is right Breshad has worked had by all reports and you can't blame him or conditioning on this kind of injury. Let's stick behind the young man and give him our total support
  9. As a veteran (U.S. Navy) instead of Soldiers if you don't to acknowledge each branch (soldiers is Army) its better to say all those servicemen & women who gave their lives for our country and freedom. Sorry to Knit pick but the truth is the truth
  10. We have several D3 schools in the area and he's absolutely right about those players my son went to Western Md (McDaniel) and we went and watched several games with him on campus during weekend visits
  11. Great ! Fantastic ! as a Navy veteran I agree and I believe he'll be an asset to the Ravens.
  12. He's just selfish to do this to his team
  13. I see the Ravens signed former QB who converted to a WR in CFL to a futures contract 6-5 Jerrod Johnson
  14. t would be sweet to ruin the Steeler's playoff chances it would make this dismal season easier to swallow by beating them twice & have braging right no matter what the final record end up becoming. The next week making Cincy play on the road would be nice but not as satisfying. My blood does boil however more than ever with the Pats after hearing them constantly blaming the Ravens for the deflate gate investigation. I've heard them gloat over our season as the fates evening things up for our "involvement".
  15. Burn the Pants Too Steeler like Quoth the Raven Nevermore
  16. He needs to get his eyes examined it was very obvious. The Ravens have gotten some very unfair penalties called against them this year this one was not one of them. I screamed at the TV when I saw it happen.
  17. Chis Givens made a very nice catch on the final drive which you failed to mention
  18. I have been listening & watching football for 55 yrs this is the worst year for officiating all across the league that I can remember. What happens to the refs for making bad calls they don't get publicly called out and fined as they should like the players. Harbaugh was right about someone getting hurt any the offender fined for hitting them for hitting the runner in the position he is in
  19. Having had 6 back surgeries some of which were herniated discs besides being painful. Its easy to re-injure or make worse especially playing a contact sport. 4 WEEKS IS VERY OPTIMISTIC. It better for them to let him take the rest of the year to take care of the injury &get his body prepared to play without a lot of danger to him long term
