People are going to always hate, when they're not comfortable with a situation or comfortable with a certain person. If you're not from our culture then you wouldn't understand Cam Newton. What makes Peyton right and Cam wrong? Is it you can relate to Peyton and not Cam? These are the question you need to ask yourself when you criticize Cam. I can accept that, but I can't accept you feel that he's cocky, disrespectful or brash, what is he suppose to be? What you want him to be? Why is it that some people are always trying to put people in a box on how they think things should be? Move forward and not backwards.
John it has nothing to do with his color or race or celebrating. its the way he goes about it and its not just him. its the whole team. they are very arrogant.
Not Kuechly. That kid is the anti cam. Very mature for his age. No dancing when he scores. And he has scored plenty.
What do you call him running around after the touchdown hi-fiving fans until the guy fell out of the stands. I live in NC and been to a couple of games and see how Kuechly acts on the sideline just like everyone else.
josh gordon is not worth a sniff. he will get suspended again
Josh Gordon is arguably a top 5 talent receiver. I think he was set up to fail the alcohol test that he mysteriously had to take after the season was over when he got off the plane in Vegas with teammates. I'll take him anyday over any receivers the ravens have on the roster. He hasn't done anything that other football players haven't done, he just got caught doing it.
Harbaugh does not want Reed or Lewis anywhere near HIS Locker room. He was not very happy when they were here as players and had the respect and control that they had back then. Actually, he was relieved when they both left. It is now his way or the Highway as they say. Reed should do well once he knows his place in the coaching hierarchy. He will have some growing pains up in Buffalo, but Ryan should realize his value and be able to deal with his outspoken style. Ryan and Reed are of the same cloth to a degree. He is a good fit for Ryan and his team. He would not have had a fair chance here even if they did hire him as I see it. At ant rate, we should be looking for replacement Secondary coach sometime this year, if we see they same thing again in Training Camp. Once we clean out the fodder back there and can rely on those coming back from injury, we will see what we really need in that area.
Chip Kelly thought the same thing in Philly and he ruin that team. The Ravens aren't even the Ravens anymore. Right now they don't even have an identity and no leader in the locker room because you don't have that strong personality. The Ravens were never an out of control team. But when you have a bunch of robots walking around waiting for orders instead of players getting behind each other and standing up for each other you become weak. Players like Reed and Lewis were the epitome of the type of players coaches should want on their teams. Coaches can only coach, but the players play the game. When you see your leaders putting in work to be the best you have no choice but to follow suit. And now that Reed and Lewis are gone you can actually see the effect of their presence not being there. It seems like no one is on the same page especially in the secondary.
The only way the Ravens limit Brown again is if Ben doesn't play again. Get real!!! That one of the most delusional question I've ever heard. Jimmy Smith couldn't hold Browns jock strap if he handed it to him.
Practice? We're talking about Practice
If I'm Greg Hardy or Ray Rice I'm mad at the media and the NFL for not putting light on Johnny Maziel and suspending him for his domestic incident. The girl said on camera to the police that he hit her and she had bruises. All it took was for her to say don't do anything and he was released by the police without even being charge. This is the definition of hypocrisy. What good for the goose is good for the gander. But I guess Johnny's not a gander
Jacoby went where he's wanted and needed. You can't be mad at that.
Why are they showing a video from 2012? That was 3 years ago.
The defense still sucks, how many times did they get beat yesterday for wide open touchdowns and missed tackles? Flacco not turning the ball over is the difference in being 2-6 and 1-7
I see why he can't keep a job
He's not playing tentative, he just dupe the ravens into thinking he was one of the NFL's top corners.
Hopefully he suits up
Flacco has to be the first player in NFL history to be paid by the team he's on and the team he's playing against. Every week he gives the other team life and take the life out of his team, he never fails to disappoint. It's to the point now to where I'll be surprise if he doesn't disappoint.
The Ravens need 21 other Steve Smith's to win this game. To many players on this team just goes through the motions instead of putting it all on the line like SSS
That secondary couldn't shutdown a high school passing game.
If they have a cornerstone like Sarah says, then how come they don't have an identity? Every week the question is asked, what's the identity of the Ravens? So that right there lets me know that those players that she named aren't cornerstones. In the past when you looked at the Ravens you thought of a rough and tough defense and a run it down your throat type team. Now I don't know what to think of this team. So Ray Lewis is right, there will never be another Ray Lewis but the Ravens better find an identity before they end up like the Cleveland Browns.
I wonder who we'll pick up early in the draft, we should have a top 5 pick
I wouldn't pay Flacco a dime. With that kind of production they might as well draft a QB in the 6th round and take their chances. He's suppose to make the team better instead he's just another player committing robbery and taking up cap space
You can't turn a WR into a superstar. You can't turn "chicken poop into chicken salad". The offense is a system that has a lot of moving parts, and all 11 players on the field contribute to how it runs on every play. To say that it's the QB's job to turn WRs into superstars completely ignores the fact that WRs are players with their own skills and abilities, and that they they have control over their own destiny as playmakers. WRs aren't made into superstars by their QBs. That is such an atrocious and silly argument that I am so sick of seeing. It totally discounts the WR himself, and makes it as if any old roleplayer would be a superstar if they had been asked to replace Calvin Johnson in Detroit, for instance, because it's obviously Stafford who makes Johnson look good, and has nothing to do with Johnson's own ability. Right. The fact is, a WR has to make himself a superstar.
How is Ben, Rodgers & Brady doing it then? No WR or TE was a 1st rd pick. A bunch of 2nd, 4th, 6th & 7th rounders.
Yup, he needs to get the defense to not suck too.
Well at the end of the day, Flacco had chances to win those games no matter what the defense did or didn't do. When Ngata got traded and Suggs went down, this was no longer a team that any offense was going to fear. Everything from that point was on the offense. When your offense can score at will, like the Patriots or Packers, the other offense tends to manage the clock and doesn't really attack the defense. But when you have a QB that turns the ball over as much as Flacco, the teams aren't really worried about what the Ravens defense is going to do because they know the Ravens don't have playmakers on defense and the offense will give them the opportunity by not converting 3rd downs or just by turnovers.
On that specific play, it was entirely Joe's fault. After faking the handoff he continued to step back - right into the rush. We didn't do a great job blocking it, but the rusher was forced wide... If Joe had simply sensed the pressure and stepped up in the pocket he would have been completely clean with a TON of time.
Joe's been doing it all season. When he feels pressure hes been retreating backward instead of climbing the pocket. Brady, Rodgers, Romo, Rivers, Manning, Big Ben all would have likely avoided that rush.
Literally one step forward and he's clean. The line did a decent job of creating a pocket for Joe but he retreated out of it. He's got to improve here
I definitely agree. At some point Joe has to take control of the offense instead of running it. He doesn't make any adjustments, never uses hand signal to his WR to change a route when he see the defenses blitzing, It's like I said before, he's a robot. He gets the play from the sideline and runs it no matter what. That's not a 100 million dollar QB, that's a rookie. What people need to understand, this defense will never be what it use to be. Ravens lost that game because of the offense. You can't get into the redzone and not score TD's. Ravens have had trouble scoring in the redzone since Boldin was traded. At some point fingers need to be pointed at Flacco. He's getting paid all that money to turn chicken poop into chicken salad, I don't want to hear about his WR, it's his job to turn his WR into superstars.
The laughing stock of the NFL.. SMH!!
You do realize that he is waiting for the play to be called in and they are not just standing around just letting the play clock run down for no reason. They need to do a better job of play calling.
Well they only have 15 seconds after the play clock starts before the headset shuts off so that's no excuse. They game plan for a reason, all plays are scripted when the defense is on the field so they have a idea on what they run. The only way they wouldn't is if they don't script plays when the defense is on the field. So I take that back. Flacco needs to do a better job at taking over the offense, he's been in the league since 2008 and I don't see nothing in his game that has change. He's like a robot.

How come everybody else has to take a paycut and take one for the team but when it comes to Flacco he doesn't? He restructure is contract which only gave $6 million cap relief, and he took home over $40 million just to sign his name. If im KO I would do like anybody in there right mind would do, take the money, not only that the Raiders have a franchise QB in Carr and a Top Tier WR in Cooper and legit #2 in Crabtree. Why wouldn't he leave?
